Now keep in mind I'm a very kind-hearted person but I also stand up for myself as needed and dont take disrespect quietly. So I order my Starbucks through the app like I always do ...same coffee. Same thing I get everyday: cup of coffee with whipped cream and caramel drizzle on top. That's all there is to it. So this afternoon I waited almost 20 minutes for my cup of coffee, but when it was finally given to me..There was no caramel or whipped cream on top. ...now, I know -- first world problems, right?! trust me!! coming from someone with an extensive history of tragedy. I'm blessed I can be in a place where I can critique my cup of coffee but it does cost $0.80 to add those toppings so I returned and asked The barista to fix the drink. --- well, the shift lead or the manager or whoever, overheard me having a conversation with the barista and proceeded to snatch the HOT cup of coffee out of my hand and aggressively throw it into the sink to where it splashed all over the barista I was working with and all over the counter space and work area, as she yells at me that she'll just make me a new one. The original barista at this point has her jaw completely dropped and she's apologizing to me....to which I responded that I'm so sorry as well, and I have no idea what just happened.. so when I got the drink back, I spoke up and said that I felt her behavior was completely out of line and uncalled for. I didn't ask for a new drink, I just asked for the toppings I paid for. Well apparently me standing up for myself triggered a customer sitting nearby, because this woman stood up, and came charging at me-- saying all sorts of profanities, and she physically with BOTH hands pushed me backwards into the door. I was seriously caught off guard and so I fell backwards, hit my head on the doorway and stumbled through the entrance. I was completely dumbfounded ....what in the flapping hell just happened....and so I called the police. They pulled her up right away based on her license plate and I filed charges. I'm completely just shook up by the whole thing. Not only was the first interaction so out of control but then to be followed up by getting physically assaulted.... all over whipped cream and Carmel. I am literally in awe. I know it's not my job to be the fixer of all human behavior ...but I just can't stand disrespect. No more Niles Starbucks for me.) You should be absolutely careful when going to this Starbucks not only will the manager duty assault her employees by throwing hot coffee with anger into the sink and splashing it all over the employee, they also trespassed my friend for wanting whipped cream and caramel drizzle THAT SHE FUCKING PAID FOR and allowed my friend to be assaulted by another customer!!!!
