From the outside you will note that the building definitely needs a little love, but within you'll find a classic cozy coffee spot for a warm beverage and a tasty brunch. My most recent visit was an early morning where I think we caught them a little off guard. It would seem the college crowd doesn't make it in until after 10 on the weekends. It seems like it is worth it to look them up online and have a good idea of what you want beforehand. This is one of those spots where there is a large menu behind the counter and some small paper menus by request. Basically it forces you into that awkward engagement before you've really had a chance to check things out. A West Coast Breakfast Sandwich on a Bagel with a Mocha hit the spot for me. Portions are modest, so you don't have to worry to much about overeating. It was a nice way to break up the holiday weekend monotony. Baristas are friendly and always make you feel like valued customers. They support local artists by selling local goods and rotating artwork on the walls, so make sure to check those out too.
