The original barista at this point has her jaw completely dropped and she's apologizing to me....to which I responded that I'm so sorry as well, and I have no idea what just happened.. so when I got the drink back, I spoke up and said that I felt her behavior was completely out of line and uncalled for. I didn't ask for a new drink, I just asked for the toppings I paid for. Well apparently me standing up for myself triggered a customer sitting nearby, because this woman stood up, and came charging at me-- saying all sorts of profanities, and she physically with BOTH hands pushed me backwards into the door. I was seriously caught off guard and so I fell backwards, hit my head on the doorway and stumbled through the entrance. I was completely dumbfounded ....what in the flapping hell just happened....and so I called the police. They pulled her up right away based on her license plate and I filed charges. I'm completely just shook up by the whole thing. Not only was the first interaction so out of control but then to be followed up by getting physically assaulted.... all over whipped cream and Carmel. I am literally in awe. I know it's not my job to be the fixer of all human behavior ...but I just can't stand disrespect. No more Niles Starbucks for me.)
