Baristas are friendly and always make you feel like valued customers. They support local artists by selling local goods and rotating artwork on the walls, so make sure to check those out too. Prices have increased over the years so it's not the cheapest coffee around, but I think this is expected in today's economy and the regulars don't mind. There was no explanation about the only milk option, if there was either my wife or I would have heard it. I asked for extra cream or room for extra cream and what I got was "OK". I asked my wife and she agreed that there was no explanation. Yes, my review is based upon my choice rating of quality of product, and service. I didn't drink my coffee at your place, I was waiting a little bit before I did and was not near the place. Honestly, 2 stars are more than enough for a coffee that i only took 3-4 sips before I got rid of it. Funny thing is the place comes off as a want to be Boosie vibe, which is fine, and your response re-enforces this heavily. Others I have talked to agree about the Boosie vibe. read more

On my last stop with my wife we stopped by in the afternoon and got a decaf (no caffeine after noon for me) honey oat milk latte and it was perfect. They source the honey locally and shared the difference between the recent batch and the previous one. This is the Best place for Jasmine Pearl tea. I also love that they have different treats to go with it. The customer service here is top notch. It was icy and snowy I had several drinks and the employee actually offered to help me to my car. Price wise they are in line with everyone else. Coffee wise the taste is beyond exceptional. I hate writing bad reviews but, I have to be honest. This place was voted "Best Coffee Shop" in Ohio by Food & Wine Magazine so, I had high hopes! The coffee was bitter, bland with poor taste. No matter how many ways I tried I couldn't like it. The Green Tea my wife got was some of the worst she has had. They had hardly anything to mix in the coffee. No skim milk, no heavy cream. A little whole milk that dribbled out of empty container. Atmosphere is uninviting, and uncozy. It's like a small college campus coffee shop. I cannot believe this was voted Best in Ohio. Circle K coffee beats this coffee hands down. Like I said, I hate writing bad reviews but, I gotta be honest. I am ending this on a positive note, the staff was very friendly! The inside has a small area to sit and enjoy your coffee drinks, as well as a bar area and plenty of outlets if you're camping out to work for a bit. I am happier than I asked for. If this was Chicago I would give the place four stars but this is Boredman, Ohio. So obviously I will be back. I came here because my favorite coffee in Columbiana was closed for New Years, and the sun was shining and it was time to go to coffee and CLE and the Burgh are at least ninety minutes' drive. I safely chose a cortado because I only want the best of pour-overs in my life. Then I found out they serve locally concocted drinking chocolate. I do not drink hot chocolate because it is always sugared milk with a dab of (maybe) chocolate in it. But could you, could you, make me a cortado sized hot chocolate? And he did. So a place that can do that makes me give them five stars. Next time I will ask for a macchiato sized chocolate with no added syrup. Branch Street has been cooking for a little more than a year, and because I see they are evolving their craft I look forward to happy times here. read more

My second visit to this location and it was just as impressive this time as last. I got a light roast coffee that had a hint of blood orange as a after taste, Jennifer got a French vanilla roast. The coffee was so smooth it's nothing that can even be described in words. The staff was friendly and helped advise us as to what we should get. We also got a chocolate cookie from their munchies which are also locally made. Their options are fresh and local it puts Dunkin and even Starbucks to shame. The owner and his knowledge of coffee is impressive. Please someone put a coffee shop in warren/niles it wouldn't take much to take over mocha house as best local spot. read more

I debated writing this review but thought it might help someone else out there have a good day like I did. I'm a fat woman with severe anxiety, so I generally stick to going to places I have already been and know are safe for me. I was feeling extra home sick yesterday, and while I was passing by Branch Street (I am never on this side of town), I noticed they had a "salted maple" special, eh? That made me smile. I hesitated, but something pushed me in. I was very tense, but the shop was warm and welcoming. Someone was roasting beans at the front, and there were maybe 5 small round tables with sturdy wooden chairs (no arms). Up along the side of the wall they have some arm chairs and book cases filled with reading material. It didn't feel cluttered and I was able to walk through to the other side of the shop with ease. I don't go out very often and was extremely anxious in approaching the barista, but she was very soft spoken and kind. I was a bit confused with how to pay but she brushed it off like it was nothing. I sat down to try and calm myself while my drink was being made, and when it was ready another kind employee let me know. I don't really know how to stress how much it means to me to be treated genuinely nicely by staff members. It feels so rare now that I get looked in the eye and smiled at, to be treated like any other customer. I can't stand Starbucks and Dunkin' and I only drink Tim Hortans, so clearly I'm no real coffee connoisseur- but I have to say that this salted maple latte was probably the most delicious and comforting drink I've ever had. I even had my husband come meet me to try it because I thought it was so great- he agree'd. All in all, I had a wonderful experience, which was very rare for me. Gang, I'm a total nerd about everything and that includes coffee. I'd heard a lot about this place, so when we went over the river and through the woods I made a point to stop by. Ok, here's the thing: I watched how they made my coffee (I'm a hobby roaster and a scientist, so it's relevant to my interests) and they were so careful. Like, so careful my dudes. They weighed the mass of the ground coffee after pre-wetting the filter and used the exact right temperature of water for the extraction. Then I talked to Matt, and he completely nerded out for like ten minutes and showed me the roaster and the modifications he'd made; I was in absolute coffee nerd heaven. The coffee was, of course, fantastic and the people were awesome. I will buy coffee from these folks every time I'm in town; you should too. read more

Which for two lattes and two cookies was only 11 dollars. The coffee and espressos are so smooth you can tell the quality of the beans and their process. The service is excellent and the baristas really know their products and are passionate about the things they serve. I highly recommend the brown sugar cinnamon latte it's perfect on a cold day! Another special right now is the wedding cookie latte. It's almond and vanilla and the name just embodies youngstown I love it! They also have some baked goods from local shops near by. One of my new favorite coffee roasters! Was recommended this coffee shop from a friend and my girlfriend and I found the time to stop here while we were traveling to Cuyahoga National Park. The cafe is such a cool environment and their roaster is on sight. We tried pour overs, cold brews and lattes and became way to caffeinated for our own good, but we just couldn't stop because everything was so delicious.
