Reasonably priced and cute vibe. Had a chocolate latte of some sort that I enjoyed. Had the cute foam on top and was a good size for $5. Has a downstairs with tables and chairs and a couch also has an upstairs. Looks like a busy place with lots of people studying, doing work or meeting others but no wait to order. Would come back again.

Came on a busy Sunday around noon, and got our drinks very quickly (within 5 minutes)! The matcha spritz is very bright, and would highly recommend trying their lavender syrup. Their lavender latte is the best I've had in the Cleveland area! There is lots of seating both indoors (also has a second floor loft) and outdoors, with WiFi and outlets around the walls. Great place to have a drink with friends or for studying.

Great coffee and pastries, and they have an upstairs if the main area gets full. It's pretty busy every time I come here. Staff is very hospitable. I don't really love the food here but their croissants are big, fluffy and flaky! I got the maple smoked latte today, and it's good but no smokiness.

What a cute coffee shop, ambiance was amazing. got two iced lattes and they were good overall, limited flavors available. Great location and also not pictured were some delicious cookies! Service could be a smidge better, not very informative/helpful when ordering and barely called out the order once ready. Had to guess who's was who's.

The espresso has really gone downhill in this place. It's quite disappointing how bitter their espresso is now. I don't know if it's because of a new barista or espresso machine, not being maintenance, but it's awful.

Heartwood coffee is a nice little coffee shop tucked in the back of a plaza. They have a patio as well as plenty of seating inside. There is a selection of fresh baked goods as well as some food such as a breakfast sandwich and quinoa egg bowl. I grabbed my wife a matcha and pumpkin biscotti to go. The service was quick and friendly

I'm embarrassed to admit that I am here weekly - AT LEAST once a week! However, let that be a true testimony on just how wonderful this place really is! I can't stay away - ( even if we did just buy a new coffee maker) I'm not the only one who enjoys it- this place is packed! The atmosphere/ vibe is great, the staff are so cool and kind ( most are starting to even remember my order!) the coffee is so good, and the peanut butter cookie & pepperoni croissant are pretty much the best dang things I've tasted! Keep the coffee coming Heartwood- I'm here for it !

Another day in Ohio, a different coffee shop to try out. Cute spot and plenty of parking. Out of all the coffee shops we visited, this place had the most friendliest of customer service. It was just amazing. Nice and cozy inside. A couple of tables. They sell their beans and several types of coffee makers, merch, and knickknacks. We tried their Cappuccino, very good. Nice and smooth. A lavender latte, my sister loved it. A Chai Latte it was good but too sweet for me. A breakfast sandwich. Delicious, bagel, bacon, egg, arugula, and a pepper relish. The pepper relish made this breakfast sandwich. We will definitely be returning when we return to Ohio.

To go!

Cute shop right on main st Hudson. Helpful and fast service Drinks were all delicious and we tried the baked goods too Only downside is lack of seating. Only a couple of places. Although sitting outside on the sidewalk In summer would be fun

Heartwood coffee roasters had a cute vibe when you walk in. There are quite a few areas to sit and chill. It gives the older coffee shop vibes too. They sell their own coffee as well. I ordered a chocolate mocha and chocolate chip cookie. It was kinda pricey at $4.50-5 for each thing, but I guess that's the usual for coffee shops. They also have a rewards program if you go often, although I don't. The mocha was pretty average. The design on the drink and cup was cute! And the cookie was pretty chunky/not bad at all. It would be even better if it was warm and chunky. They had a wide variety of cookies as well. There are some season specials which I didn't try, but may be of interest to others. Service was pretty quick and I appreciate that this coffee joint doesn't blast music and lets you sit/focus on your work or conversation. I wish there was a 3.5 star option cause I'm between the 3 and 4. Overall, I recommend checking it out for the vibes and variety.

I've been coming to Heartwood (all locations) for a couple years now and NO CAFE in Ohio beats their coffee. I'm super picky about my coffee (how acidic, bitter, notes, etc) and I have tried almost all cafes around Cleveland and none of them compare to Heartwood - even beats Rising Star... The service is always so good and quick with super kind/welcoming employees, and the owner is always smiling! I absolutely adore the decor and vibe the cafe locations offer. It's the perfect place for a solo date, brunch/lunch, work spot, meeting, etc! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Heartwood and wish there was one closer to my city (Broadview Heights). I recommend this company to everyone looking for the best coffee (local and out of state)! Do yourself a favor and RUN to Heartwood now because I promise you all not regret it!

Ordered an Iced Chai Latte and left with a cup of whole milk....Workers were unwelcome and felt like I inconvenienced them by simply ordering. Loved coming here for a Sunday treat but unsure if I will ever be back :(

Best coffee and meeting spot in Hudson. Love my lattes with decorations! Avocado toast is out of this world too.

Amazing coffee, amazing vibes, and the barista were nice! So very much recommend this place if you're a coffee goer or a coffee shop hopper.

I discovered Pearl a few years ago through word of mouth and my employer where Pearl Coffee was sold and served. This is a review of my personal visits to their place of business on Broadway. In the last 5 months I've bought a pound of coffee every several weeks. I usually showed up on a weekday shortly before closing. I've tried a single origin Ethiopian, their Pumpkin Spice blend, and their Diana Blend. For my experience purchasing coffee and asking about available coffee it seems Pearl primarily roasts medium to dark coffees. The Diana Blend is their lightest roast. I usually drink single origin light roasts from microroasters and their Diana Blend is more like a medium roast. The Diana Blend is a really enjoyable blend and it's no wonder it is their best selling. It's consistently good as well. I think they have over 30 different coffees, from Pumpkin Spice to single origins from Ethiopia. I like the variety. Whole bean and ground coffee available. They also sell syrups, some tea bags and other season items. Buying at their Broadway location is easy and simple. When I first visited I didn't know what I wanted and they were able to offer me a couple coffees based on my preferences. I've stuck with the Diana Blend because it's good and right now it's $7.50 a pound. I believe you can order ahead and pick up at the store. I've seen orders sitting out. The staff are very nice and friendly. Walking into the store is like walking back into history with the pictures and newspapers clippings on the walls telling the history of Pearl Coffee and the old coffee equipment on display. Their connection to the local community and relationship with their patrons is evidenced by the many pictures of their patrons on the walls. Their is also a little section in the back with other coffee decorative items, I believe. I sort of remember wandering back there while waiting. Try some coffee from Pearl Coffee. I recommend their Diana Blend.

You find so much the same, seemingly caught in time, and other things have greatly changed. Goldberry is one of those "new to me" additions to Ashland, and every time I walk through its doors, I find myself grateful that it is a part of this town's growth and change. Brightly lit, warmly modern, with touches of wood, crisp white, and greenery, the shop holds ample space to gather together with friends or sit comfortably by oneself, sipping an espresso, cortado, or dirty chai with almond milk (my personal choice today) while people-watching or reading a book. Tall windows line the front of the building, looking out upon a bustling parking lot and side-street as multiple baristas efficiently work away behind the bar. Fresh donuts were being sold at a stand as I entered, along with bagged beans and a variety of other bottled/canned beverages. People sat outside, in groups around larger tables, or in more relaxed leather chairs, animatedly caught up in conversation. Goldberry feels like a true 'third place' in Ashland - not your home, not your workplace, but that third place where you go to meet friends, begin your day, or center yourself before stepping out into the world. It's fittingly named in that light, given that Goldberry is the warmly welcoming, hospitable, and wise woman in JRR Tolkien's work who offers comfort and guidance to questing hobbits, the beautiful and mysterious 'river-woman's daughter' who married the enigmatic Tom Bombadil, a man whose magic was older than time. This coffee shop is all of those things: welcoming, warm, bright, and more than a little magical, glowing like a water-washed jewel - or fairly-sourced coffee bean - in the midst of this ever-changing tiny mid-Ohio town. I'll be back.
