A whole experience! Eclectic style cafe, books books books! Art, coffee, local honey, creative flavors. I presume it's always very busy on the weekends. Nice staff, connected with a book store , live music venue. So cool, can't wait to go back!

Service was fantastic! Ambiance was great as well. Chai concentrate is homemade and was very delicious! Definitely recommend! Iced latte was not bad, not as strong as expected but still a good latte with a variety of delicious flavors to add.

A delightful coffee shop next to the Jenks in Cuyahoga Falls. Beautifully crafted drinks and muffins. The baristas were friendly and talkative. Coffee room has fun and eclectic furnishings, books to read and buy and artwork for sale. Check it out!

Great space with a cool vibe and super friendly baristas! I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and there was live music and a decent crowd of people hanging out inside. There were two baristas working, and both chatted with me and were very personable. I ordered a small iced coffee with almond milk and a small iced elderflower latte to go. One of the baristas gave me the carton of almond milk to add my own to my drink, which I thought was really cool! The only downside was the cost...it was over $11 for the two small drinks. The cost to add my splash of almond milk to the iced coffee was .85 - that's a little much in my opinion. I'd go back to hang out, but maybe just get a black coffee next time.

A lovely little coffee shop on front street that has just recently expanded to include more seating and a stage area in the back! There is a big parking lot next door to the right of the building that is free to park as well as some street parking up and down front street. The staff was nice and knowledgeable about their menu. There were two employees working on the weekend and they were organized and working very hard despite a really long line! No complaints about the service. The menu is diverse with multiple customization options! They also have a lot of great seasonal recipes. My partner got one of their pour over coffees which was robust and flavorful. It was under $5. I got a lavender matcha latte made with oat milk, which was one of their specials that was around $5 as well. It was so delicious and creamy and came out with a little leaf on top- yum! They have a lot of different milk choices and different syrups and such to add- there's a lot to come back for! They also recently renovated and put a large stage in the back. There's also a bunch of snacks, coffee goods, mugs, and yada yada merch in the back. Tons of seating and a super clean bathroom - what's not to love? A good spot to get some work done or just hang out. The vibes are homey and light. It's also connected to the Jenks building which has a ton of cool outdoor goods as well as interesting wines and beers. I would highly recommend giving Yada Yada a try! You can also find their beans at Missing Mountain down the street, yay!

I discovered Pearl a few years ago through word of mouth and my employer where Pearl Coffee was sold and served. This is a review of my personal visits to their place of business on Broadway. In the last 5 months I've bought a pound of coffee every several weeks. I usually showed up on a weekday shortly before closing. I've tried a single origin Ethiopian, their Pumpkin Spice blend, and their Diana Blend. For my experience purchasing coffee and asking about available coffee it seems Pearl primarily roasts medium to dark coffees. The Diana Blend is their lightest roast. I usually drink single origin light roasts from microroasters and their Diana Blend is more like a medium roast. The Diana Blend is a really enjoyable blend and it's no wonder it is their best selling. It's consistently good as well. I think they have over 30 different coffees, from Pumpkin Spice to single origins from Ethiopia. I like the variety. Whole bean and ground coffee available. They also sell syrups, some tea bags and other season items. Buying at their Broadway location is easy and simple. When I first visited I didn't know what I wanted and they were able to offer me a couple coffees based on my preferences. I've stuck with the Diana Blend because it's good and right now it's $7.50 a pound. I believe you can order ahead and pick up at the store. I've seen orders sitting out. The staff are very nice and friendly. Walking into the store is like walking back into history with the pictures and newspapers clippings on the walls telling the history of Pearl Coffee and the old coffee equipment on display. Their connection to the local community and relationship with their patrons is evidenced by the many pictures of their patrons on the walls. Their is also a little section in the back with other coffee decorative items, I believe. I sort of remember wandering back there while waiting. Try some coffee from Pearl Coffee. I recommend their Diana Blend.

The interior vibes are the same; open, spacious, and clean. However, the food and most importantly, the staff, no longer maintain the quality that made me a regular in the first place. Artisan used to have amazing coffee and excellent food, but the coffee is no longer very good. I think this is due to the staff. The food has significantly declined in quality. The hollandaise on their breakfast sandwich is now a broken, greasy mess. The "sourdough" is generic white bread. What's even worse than the food is the staff. In the last two years, the staff has degenerated to an incompetent , bedraggled mess. The staff has never had to wear a uniform, but perhaps it's time for them to institute one. In my last several visits, I've seen grossly oversized clothes that have the staff looking like they just rolled out of bed. Hair is unkempt, not brushed, loose, and hanging down past their shoulders. A recipe for getting hair in my food. Furthermore, the staff is no longer smiling or friendly and can't answer basic questions about the menu. They seem confused about where they are and the service they provide. On top of all this, they maintain their strict breakfast timeframe. Why they have decided to stick to antiquated time limits for the food that is always available in their kitchen is beyond me. The barest minimum of market research would show how popular breakfast sandwiches are all day. What once was a vibrant, friendly coffee shop with great food, good coffee, and pleasant employees now feels like a dressed up McDonalds.

This place is a charmer for sure and has a vibe to it that is cozy. The space itself is larger than what I was expecting and it was nice that they offered additional parking across the street as their lot is small and gets full very quickly. The space also has a stage and lots of windows for natural light which I loved. The baristas were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the different drinks and what they offered, which was really nice. Unfortunately, I did not try any food, but their menu offers a wide range of breakfast and lunch options including sandwiches, soups, bakery and more. I reached for the cold brew and a friend got a lavander matcha lattee. The drinks were good, nothing out of this world but I was glad they offered additional cream, sugar, etc out in the open in case people decided they wanted to add anything to their drinks. They offer a wide range of drinks including some really interesting specialty drinks which all sound fun to try. Overall, Artisan Coffee is a cute, charming coffee shop that offers a wide variety of food and drink and I am sure you will find something you enjoy at this cafe. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely consider coming back here to sit down rather than to-go.

You find so much the same, seemingly caught in time, and other things have greatly changed. Goldberry is one of those "new to me" additions to Ashland, and every time I walk through its doors, I find myself grateful that it is a part of this town's growth and change. Brightly lit, warmly modern, with touches of wood, crisp white, and greenery, the shop holds ample space to gather together with friends or sit comfortably by oneself, sipping an espresso, cortado, or dirty chai with almond milk (my personal choice today) while people-watching or reading a book. Tall windows line the front of the building, looking out upon a bustling parking lot and side-street as multiple baristas efficiently work away behind the bar. Fresh donuts were being sold at a stand as I entered, along with bagged beans and a variety of other bottled/canned beverages. People sat outside, in groups around larger tables, or in more relaxed leather chairs, animatedly caught up in conversation. Goldberry feels like a true 'third place' in Ashland - not your home, not your workplace, but that third place where you go to meet friends, begin your day, or center yourself before stepping out into the world. It's fittingly named in that light, given that Goldberry is the warmly welcoming, hospitable, and wise woman in JRR Tolkien's work who offers comfort and guidance to questing hobbits, the beautiful and mysterious 'river-woman's daughter' who married the enigmatic Tom Bombadil, a man whose magic was older than time. This coffee shop is all of those things: welcoming, warm, bright, and more than a little magical, glowing like a water-washed jewel - or fairly-sourced coffee bean - in the midst of this ever-changing tiny mid-Ohio town. I'll be back.
