They had a laminated menu, and you use a market to select which dim sum items that you want to order. I felt like we ordered the entire menu! Items started coming out within 8 minutes and I'm not sure if this was coincidental, or on purpose, but our food came out and then the desserts came out. It was very well planned out. The quality of the food was very good! The dishes felt less greasy than I'm used to, and the portions were so big. The waiters were also very friendly, patient, and kind. When I asked for a takeout box the waiter made a point to show me that there were holes on one side of the container and cautioned me to not put anything that would leak on that side. The only potential downside I could see is that it is a small restaurant and I think there's only about 15-20 seats inside. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would definitely return!

The man guy wasn't there either time and mane that's why? The women that were working really wrecked it for us. The turnip cake was cold and rubbery. We asked for a fresh one and the lady pointed at the dish and said "ye we just make". Bold face lie. I've eaten 10 of these over my visits and these were definitely not fresh. The potstickers were HALF the size they were from my first many visits. The shumai was so rubbery and warm. We didn't make it past one bite. The broccoli was fresh and tasted good. I'm not sure if we will be back. The last two times were so disappointing.

For dishes like the beef chow fun and steamed fish for about $14.88, making it super affordable for a large group meal. The food came out fresh and hot, and the menu had a lot of variety to choose from. The restaurant gets busy, on weekends but service moved pretty efficiently overall. A perk for this place is that they do have a parking garage, which made parking way less stressful compared to other busy dim sum spots in the area.

I heard about their AYCE dim sum promo but that actually made me not want to come because I knew the wait would've been very long, and I hate waiting for a table just to eat. Fast forward to tonight and a suggestion was made to try the $14.88 dinner special at Bistro 1968. Here's my honest review of my experience. * Parking - Self parking behind the restaurant. I came on a Monday night dinner time , and there was only 2 cars in the entire lot. The parking lot was very creepy as it was't too well lit. I could see the kitchen from the structure because the backdoor was left opened. There were boxes and junk littered around the area. * You have to walk through a long hallway from the parking lot to get to the restaurant. There are signs to guide you, but if you're going there for the first time, it could be a bit confusing. * We got there at 7pm and there was only 1 table of customers. I honestly don't know how to describe the decor because it depends on which part of restaurant you're looking at. * Staff were all VERY nice. They gave us free dessert (Egg Tarts and Pineapple Buns) so that was awesome. * Food - I ordered the Fried Fish but it wasn't fully cooked. Some parts were still raw so it had a fishy taste. We ate a few pieces but left most of it untouched. Everything else was pretty much okay except for its temperature - it was lukewarm. Nothing was piping hot except for the steamed Pork Spareribs from their all day dim sum menu. * There were some small gnats that kept flying around and when one actually landed in my food, I just stopped eating altogether. * No alcohol available but definitely not a huge deal. Their staff are so nice that I actually feel bad about not writing a positive review about the establishment, but I really just don't see how I am able to rate it any higher than 2 stars. I don't think I will be coming back.

Wah Sing Dim Dum is a no frills, mostly takeout, dim sum place with a small area to sit down and eat if you wish to. Different from the restaurants serving dim sum on carts some folks may be used to. This is more of place someone would go to if you wanted quick dim sum at a great price. Highlights: -#5 har gow (aka crystal shrimp dumplings) was so plump and jam packed with shrimp! The skin was so chewy too. Delicious! -#25 black sesame with red bean paste was so fresh! It was crisp and chewy without feeling too heavy from the oil, if you stop at one that is haha -#6 siu mai was also so jam packed with meat and juicy! Still worth mentioning that the turnip cake was delicious in flavor but just not a highlight because it was on the mushier side. I'd still get it again though! Also, my partner really enjoyed the congee. I didn't try it though. Areas that can be improved: -the lotus sticky rice was a little lacking in flavor and meat. -the Cheung fun although had generous amounts of shrimp, it lacked bounce in the rice noodle. Maybe because it was cold by the time we ate it. -to reduce paper consumption, I recommend using laminate dry erase for the menus so they can be reused. Just an idea/suggestion! We were charged weekend prices because it is a holiday (President's Day). The accept credit card. You can also order via phone but we figured it wouldn't be too busy on a rainy day.

Won't allow to change some food on banquet menu, just had to add another dish. Food came out fast & with big plates, hardly any space on table, waiter just left it on top of 2 serving trays. They didn't care that serving plates were still full. The beef loc lac was tough, deep fried fish sauce tasted weird with their sweet sour sauce, pea sprouts which I was trying to change to another dish but couldn't, sure enough was so fibrous & chewy. The special fried rice was so full of all different kinds of meat that it was like a meal in itself. With 10 different dishes it would have been better to serve plain white rice. Felt service could been better for 18% service already added on bill. Tea was even charged. Had to ask for menu at cashier & was told already at table, asked for waiter so we can order, had to ask for water, spoons & forks or to have some serving plates taken away to have more space at table. There were few waiters & feel that they were not attentive and restaurant was not even busy. Even parking lot was not full but there was courtesy valet parking & girl was insisting on parking the cars even though several cars was starting to line up. I would never recommend or return to this place again. Just disappointed that my guests did not enjoy the food as well.

Top notch service.
