got to the restaurant at about 5:30 and sat at the bar with three others in my party. There were two bar tenders-one of them took our drink order while the other was making drinks all night. We got our first drink and then sat there for a good 30-45 minutes and our bartender never came back to ask us if we needed another drink. The other bar tender was literally standing right in front of us the entire time making drinks and never once asked us if we needed another and he saw that our drink glasses were empty-he even cleared away our empty glasses. After sitting there for an HOUR with a bartender right in front of us but refusing to serve us, we left. Never again going to that overpriced place with crap service. read more

My girlfriend and I have been to Primrose on 4 occasions. Once in the dining room and 3 times we have sit at the bar. All four visits have been fantastic. We really enjoy sitting at the bar. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and are eager to answer questions regarding drinks, and their liquor inventory. The servers and bartenders know the food menu and do a great job taking care of you. We have had steak, salmon, burger, and have never been disappointed. Food has always been delicious!! Tempura pork is always a favorite. The salads are well done. The risotto is great. The meat main dishes can be hot or miss. Food was great, except for the fried green tomatoes...not cooked enough although crispy on the outside.. I come here often. Service is always slow and servers seem distracted. Sat in bar tonight, new bartender, Tyler. A very nice young man but attention to detail lacking. No bread service. Ordered blueberry bread pudding and received apple cobbler instead. Another server just dropped it on the table and left. I told Tyler when he finally returned with the check. He offered to bring me the cobbler and apologized, but dinner was over for me. I'll go somewhere else for a while. The check for a was $81+ tip (single diner). I realize these kids do not care, but the owner should if the business is to continue here in Murfreesboro. Inside has nice decor and ambiance. We ordered cocktails, beer and the Korean BBQ potato skins and they were fabulous. They also provide bread in a small skillet. I ordered the filet and it was so tender I could cut it with a fork. My wife got the mahi and it was excellent too. Great service and very friendly staff. Our waiter (forget his name) gave us a quick history of the business and recommended many food items. He also stated the chef is the owner. All in all, 10/10. We will definitely return. read more

Really shocked at both the service and the food now. We used to come when Beer Bread was brought to the table. Was incredible....the service was terrible slow, bread was small bites and painful to get more and this was on a Wednesday. It was my birthday and not one person asked if we were celebrating anything or if we had been here before. On top of that the food was subpar....we got the Salmon pasta and omg, so salty!! I came in for the first time, this restaurant was highly recommended and I needed to try it out. I love brunch and I'm a huge critic of food. So here I am, sitting at the table after I ordered. The ambiance is amazing and you can tell how much detail was put into the design of the restaurant. Then my food came to the table. I figured they were making dishes out of the food magazines because it looked so good. The presentation was so spectacular... that won my interest. Then I took a bite, I couldn't take the second bite right away because I was looking around to see who was watching. I remembered I was in public and didn't want someone to see me abuse this dish. Their mojitos are also consistently good, and my heavier drinking friends say that all their drinks are great. Their desserts are mostly made for two people--just a note to keep you from being overwhelmed at the end. It's easy to make an online reservation (recommended), and if you enjoy patio dining, you can make that request. Their fish tacos are great and can make a full meal.
