We went for the prix fixe option and everything was mostly tasty: -Riesling was nice -crabcake (breaded): okay; -chowder: well seasoned and hearty -chicken breast: tender, juicy and flavorful; potatoes underneath-smooth and delicious -salmon: sauce on top looked a little weird in color, but this was actually tasty, and cooked well-the broccolini underneath was a bit overcooked by texture and the potatoes were fine -cheesecake with blueberry compote The steaks passing by our table looked and smelled delicious-and we'd return to try them when we are back to eating meat. Service was okay-water glasses were refilled, server read us the specials from her flip pad, we were checked on by both the server and manager. The bussing left something to be desired -crumbs were left on the table, bread was served to several tables that came in after us before we received any, and my dining companion eventually gave up her plate before she wanted to-after being asked multiple times if she was finished with the entree she was trying to savor at a relaxed pace. A perfect blend of the ingredients the way a true Piccata should taste. My wife ordered the chicken pot pie. Love the garnish of rosemary sticking out from the middle of it. I had to try hers. Excellent! The crust was truly flaky and delicious. The whole thing was super tasty. The appearance & presentation of our food was done so well. As great as it looked, the food tasted that much better. We had no leftovers. Our compliments to the chef. We had called the day before to ask if they could please make sure they had us in the main buffet room as we had two handicapped seniors with us. We were told not a problem. When we showed up we were taken to the table and greeted by our very sweet and attentive server Shelby. She also had a helper named Natalie that was also super kind. I have to say the pineapple is a fan favorite of ours. The fellas that come around were super quick and ready to serve you up delicious yums. Jake and Justin were super friendly and kept our bellies full. Traditional Brazilian barbecue uses coarse salt on the meat that is cooked over an open flame or direct heat source. None of the meat was seasoned this way. 2) Farofa (unforgivable oversight for Brazilians). 3) Lightly breaded, fried bananas - a churrascaria staple. 4) Picanha com alho (garlic) - They served a garlic covered cheaper piece of meat. 5) Creme de Papaya com Cassis. Service was efficient, and they ran a special for people celebrating their birthday. The birthday person gets their main course for free. 20% tip was automatically added. Our server reminded us that was divided between them and other staff and pointed out the space where we could add an additional tip. Ambiance was traditional Brazilian steakhouse, with a small salad bar with hot food selections, as well. Conclusion: If you want an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse / Churrascaria experience, you're better off driving into Philadelphia, to King of Prussia, or Easton where you can still find it. We decided to start with the cheesesteak egg rolls as an app and for our entrees I did the crab cakes and he did the fried chicken. The egg rolls were also served very quickly, but it was at this moment we realized we had no silverware or napkins while everyone around us had cloth napkins on their laps. We managed to flag down our server and asked for napkins. She came back with cocktail napkins. It was our fault for not explaining we did not have silverware either, but our table was bare so we didn't realize we needed to be more specific. The egg rolls were served with a spicy ketchup, and were hot and delicious, with fried onions and a crispy coated outer shell. When our entrees arrived we still didn't manage to get silverware but the person delivering our food brought it over quickly. Now it's at this point I should mention I'm quite the foodie, who not only dines out frequently but also loves to cook. My crab cakes were a little on the "fishy" side and lacked flavor. All of the flavor was on the lemon aioli they were served with. That being said, they were definitely filled with crab and didn't seem to contain much filler. They just need some additional seasoning. The risotto it was served with could also use seasoning as well. My bfs fried chicken was served with French fries, Cole slaw, and corn bread. I tasted it and would give it all a 3/5 rating. Not bad at all, but nothing to rave about. It was on the dry side and again lacked flavor. We were considering dessert since we saw there were a few cookie style skillets when we looked up the menu in advance, but we were on the fence about if we should. When our server didn't ask if we wanted dessert we opted to skip it this time. Overall, the ambience is fun and it's a great place for a drink and apps with friends. The flatbread pizza seemed to be the star of the show and I think next time we will order from the sandwich, burger, or pizza menu rather than a full on dinner. I've had Spanish brews before, but they actually had in stock six to 10 different Spanish Brews and some Brazilian beer. (Makes sense since a Brazilian Steakhouse is connected to the building) The prices were fair and they even had some exclusive Iron Abbey collab beers with local breweries. It's out of the way for me bottle shop wise, but if I do stop by the area I'll of course check out their stock. I found a couple of nice hard to find Imperial Stout's that now have a nice home. But when I tried to cut it or bite into it, my teeth bounced right back. This porkchop was tough and not done. Same thing for the carrots. They were charred but raw. I was so disappointed. I complained, but didn't demand that they take it back, nor did they offer. I just decided to take it home and finish cooking it for the next day. I simmered it in a covered pan for about 20 minutes or so, added the carrots for about 10 more minutes and it was delicious. That's all they need to do.....just finish cooking it! My family all enjoyed their meals with no complaints. They all got: Steak Penne Pasta, Lobster Fondue Salmon with Au Gratin potatoes and Filet Mingon with mushrooms. I can say my Au Gratin potatoes were really good and chessey! Lastly we ordered a huge piece of cake called "The Big Daddy"! It was enough to share and it was moist and delicious!! He was practically shaking the table trying to cut it. I had salmon and shrimp with potatoes and broccoli. The broccoli was honestly the best thing on my plate.
