I enjoy going to Primo Hoagies in aston once in a while. The food is always good and they have deals almost daily. The problem I run into at this location is the condescending employee who has taken my order 3 out of the last 4 trips to the aston location. He seems to be upset that someone has come into the store to bug him. His tone and lack of customer service jumps off him when you see his face. The only reason I continue with any order is that the food is good. The other employee seems to be nice and having a good time. Any time I have giving my order to anyone else it has been a pure joy. I love primo hoagies. I go out of my way for them. The Aston shop is not managed well. When they are busy they don't handle it well. The older tall gentleman was super rude to us and another man with his toddler. They gave us 4 wrong sandwiches as well and had to go back. I tried to call and they kept me on hold for 11 minutes before I hung up. The sandwiches are better than most in Delco so I will probably go back but really disappointed. read more

Always had a mediocre experience w/the service at the Aston location and they typically seem to go 'light" on their portions compared to other Primos, but tonight they were just rude. I kept going bc it is convenient location wise and I love the rolls. Visit was tonight, 10/22/2019. Store closed at 7pm according to their door and what is listed online. Two of us got there about 6:25 for a quick bite. From the start I'll say the two employees didnt appear to be thrilled at our arrival and were already cleaning equipment, which btw.....the slicer??? Thought they made these sammies fresh, so little surprising. Anywho, two us grab sodas and chips and head to the register. Me: I'll have the old world meatball primo Primo EE #1: (clearly annoyed) I'll have to check if we have any. (turns around and walks a out 10ft. Doesnt appear to look at anything, turns around, comes back to the register, and starts ringing stuff in) Me: (assuming they have meatballs) Primo EE #1 (still seemingly annoyed): Is that for here or to go? Me: For here Primo EE #1 (exaggeratingly looks at clock) Me: Um...is that okay? Primo EE #2 shouting from back: Well, we close at 7. Me (looks at watch and it's just 6:30, so clearly realize that I'm the reason they are annoyed. Put my chips back. Put my soda back. Leave Primos and save my $30+ bucks) My dinner mate said they were laughing at me...whatevs. They told him we could eat there and they JUST wanted to let us know that they closed at 7. We can read. I ordered 3 hoagies. Using yelp. After 1/2 hour and no updates. I called Primos to make sure they received the order. It was my 1st time using yelp. The 1st person who answered said he had no idea about my order and the manager was on the phone and would call me back. I received an email from yelp stating that they were paid and order was received. I call primos back and a different person told me the driver called back and changed two of the hoagies to turkey sandwiches. What kind of insanity is that. I questioned her about why would the driver decide to change my order? She told me about how some delivery service drivers do this to steal your order. Two times I've ordered from here, and both times the sandwiches were wrong. The sides were wrong as well but I thought to check those, should have taken it as a warning. It's pretty annoying that they offer the option to add toppings or omit them and still make the sandwiches according to the menu. If I can't change the toppings, take away the option! What can you say about chain take out hoagies? Not the best but not the worst. In my opinion they are over priced due to the chain name. Because it's a chain they are not too accommodating to special orders or needs. They should also offer salads! However, the staff at this location has always been friendly, funny and attentive. I picked up a catering tray and was very pleased with it. Everything tasted fresh and it was very nicely organized. Ordering online saves a lot of time for both the catering tray and individual sandwiches. The catering amounts are somewhat misleading. For example, a tray that feeds 14 people is 50 to 55 small sandwich pieces. That's important to know if you're not expecting everyone to eat 2-3 pieces. read more

My company and I are very upset with the service we received at this location. We had a order of 18 sandwiches and where told to drop off the order the night before with a credit card and they would still honor the $6.99 special price for the items even though the order was not made online. When the order was being picked up They said they were not going to honor that price and say a person on the night shift was wrong for telling us that and we need to pay full price. They were very rude and inconsiderate. And they gave somebody else my order so when I got there it was not there and somebody else came back with the order. Then they gave it to me not knowing what the person before me could have done with them sandwiches when they took them out of the store. They also did not put lettuce or tomato on any of the sandwiches. The experience was very unprofessional and when I asked for a manager they said there was not one there. They must not care about loosing 15+ customers who order there often. read more

Not worth the $10 a sandwich price tag. Busy days are all about organization. Even a paid for online pickup order can take 20 minutes at the door. Primos has always been good to me and can not complain, their Sicilian and Italian diablo hoagies are always on point. Their sandwiches are delicious and taste authentic compared to generically packaged lunch meat, Big difference! I recently made a visit to this Primo's location and was completely disappointed. First my order took well over half an hour to take care of. I wouldn't normally complain but there was only 2 others in front of me. They had 1 pick up while I was there. The staff spent there time talking a lot. While there they kept telling another customer his order was heating up in the oven. I noticed when i got my sandwich 10 minutes later that they hadn't even put it in the oven. Further more, at least 2 of the 3 workers were obviously stoned and didn't care about what was going on. I would of gave them 1 star but this time they actually got my order correct. I will definitely not be returning here. There are other local locations that take 1/3 the amount of time to make my sandwich with the same type of quality. read more

Food good customer service needs improvement. I don't frequent this place , so I was a little slow figuring out my order. The guy at the counter was very short with me, as if he didn't have a lot of time. There was only one other person in the store. Afterwards, I heard him complain to his coworker how behind he was, and they had no relief for an hour and a half. I'm sorry about this, but it doesn't mean he should treat me poorly. What a disappointment! I hobbled in with a torn meniscus and asked for a menu. I was told it was "up there" as the cashier answered the phone and pointed to the large menu board posted on the wall way up above the drink coolers. As I stood there, knee killing me, neck craned to see the board posted so high, I realized there are no prices posted. When the cashier got off the phone I asked again for a menu I could look at, hoping to get off my feet and sit down to peruse a menu with prices. She informed me that they DON'T HAVE MENUS??????? I left and came home to look at their website to order and have them deliver. Google search turned up a website, but it turns out it is no longer active. Huge fan of Primo's Aston! I work near Aston and come to Primo's at least twice a week for lunch. The food is always perfect and the staff is very friendly. It makes me feel very good to see that the store is always very clean and the staff always wears gloves when they prepare your food. This is a business I will continue to patronize! read more
