Moldy bread on Turkey & Cheese

I've been going to this primo hoagie location for YEARS. Yesterday, I called because the sandwich I was made had black mold on the bread. I was told that wasn't possible, And the manager was dismissive of my concerns. I offered to text a photo. I received a snarky comment back saying "I don't want your photo". I will NEVER BE BACK.

First off, the menu is HUGE. It took me a good five minutes to decide what I wanted. They have multiple selections in each category (specialities, diablos, cutlets, healthy choice, meatless delights, and classic standards). The hoagies were made to order and all the ingredients were fresh. They also have pre-packages sides you can add to your order like macaroni salad and pasta salad. The staff at this location was very nice. I asked the cashier for a to-go box and instead of just handing me a box she offered to wrap it up for me. I will definitely come back to this location when I'm in the mood for a good hoagie.

Too many pepper stems and pits kept this hoagie from being truly enjoyable

By far my favorite hoagie in the Lehigh Valley but very disappointing to have banana pepper stems and pits in nearly every bite of a primo sized sub!

    Great selection of chips! Yumm!

As many of you know, I am new to PA. And new to Primo Hoagies.... Never been there before! I stopped in for a sub for lunch and the clerk was so snippy and snarky. She was very rushed and was losing patience when I kindly asked her to repeat herself. She rattled off like 10 questions, salt and pepper? Peppers? Pickles? Lettuce? Tomatoe? Onion? Oregenao? Cheese? Seeded roll? Wow ma'am... Calm down. I know how to efficently order a sub, just didnt appreciate her bascially snapping at me for my order, how rude! She was very condensending and rude. Talking down to me. What a turn off, bitch! Not a great way to welcome a newbie! Sub was terrific! Fresh bread, ingredients, luscious succulent fresh carved, thin sliced deli turkey, soo satisfying. I was pleased. I paired it with a diet coke and some kettle chips! Oh yum dude! Love kettle chips with my sub!! However, the grouchy, snarky bitch behind the counter KNOCKED 2 stars off this review! You could tell she didn't like her job and was miserable! Not gunna ruin my day bitch! See ya! I won't be back to the Cedar Crest location! But I will try other locations again!

Waited forever for my cheese steak sandwich and the bun was too hard for my liking. Too many better sandwich Shops in town to go back.

Unfortunately, there was a strong cold draft at floor level, leaving our feet uncomfortably cold throughout the meal. The hostess was sweet and greeted us with a smile. The food service was unremarkable. Our waiter was not particularly friendly nor personable. The drinks were a weak start. The red sangria was poor. The bourbon cocktail was an odd mix of bourbon, apple cider, and other elements--an awkward, Frankenstein-style whiskey sour that simply didn't work. Worst of all, both drinks were served in thin plastic cups, which immediately cheapened the entire experience. I ordered the falafel sandwich and specifically requested a toasted bun. It arrived not just room temperature, but cold. I sent it back, and it returned burning hot... the bottom soggy... literally too hot to pick up... with no browning or color change, clearly microwaved. Microwaving is not toasting. At that point, the sandwich was inedible. I removed the bun entirely and ate just the falafel, which was dry and largely tasteless. At this point I knew coming back to this restaurant was a mistake. Food timing was another issue. The dishes took roughly 45 minutes to arrive after the drinks, possibly longer. We were all getting annoyed and what started out well when we first walked in turned negative. I wasn't impressed on my first visit years ago... and this second visit confirmed it. Between the poor drinks, cheap plastic cups, ridiculously long wait (with no explanation nor apology), and careless food execution, there's no reason to return.

It's open Tuesday through Thursday from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM, Friday and Saturday from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM. I stopped in for the first time on Friday night and was thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent, and the service from the entire staff, especially our servers Becca and Cody, was truly top notch. I started with the bone marrow risotto and the scallops appetizer. The risotto was rich, creamy, and full of deep savory flavor, while the scallops were perfectly cooked and beautifully balanced, with a subtle kick from the wasabi mashed. For my steak I went with the 17 oz ribeye, cooked to a flawless medium rare. Every bite was juicy and delicious. For sides, I chose ricotta creamed asparagus and lobster mac. The asparagus was tender and luxuriously coated in a velvety ricotta sauce, and the lobster mac arrived piping hot and super creamy. Both were great accompaniments to my steak. From start to finish, my dining experience at Orchid Steakhouse was exceptional. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu.

Our waiter, Cody came over and introduced himself and took our drink order. The restaurant is decorated nicely and had a good feel to it. Cody brought our drinks and told us about the days specials. We ordered some Filet Mignons (medium rare) and a side order of Asparagus. Another waiter delivered our food and Cody came over to ask how everything looked. I cut into my steak and it was pink in the center even though it had a mean char on the outside. The steaks were served with some mashed potatoes and a carrot. He said he'd be back to ask how it is. He didn't come back until we were close to finished. If he had come back sooner, I would have told him that the steak was overdone and dry and the asparagus & carrots were overcooked and mushy. I didn't say anything since by then it wouldn't have mattered, we were finishing up. Unfortunately, we had high hopes but were disappointed.

We were seated right away in an open format atmosphere with the best balance of light and dark. The bar across from us looked fantastic. What we noticed right from the start is how well the staff works with and for each other to bring guests the best dining experience possible. Maddie was our server. She was kind, professional, patient, and knowledgable about both food and drink on a grand scale. Her recommendations were stellar. I had a refreshing gin and basil martini as well as their beef carpaccio, which was absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend started with their beef stew, which was thick and satisfying. It was so delicious, she almost canceled her entree to have more. She went with the home cooking route and indulged in their meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. Although she loved that as well, half had to come home with her, which made for an excellent lunch the next day. I went with the raw of it all and got their spectacular tuna tartare with asparagus, radish, and rice. Usually, the tuna is cut into strips but this tremendous block of gorgeous fish knocked me out. Absolutely fantastic from presentation to flavor. For dessert, we got their brownie with ice cream and this was all upper level in taste and texture. I would be shocked if their ice cream hadn't been made in-house. We loved our first experience with Apollo and we look forward to our next visit, which is hopefully sooner than later.

Thank goodness we planned some flexibility after the meal before our show started. But the real downer of the meal was Alison.
