Hey hey so my husband went to this place and got us some Hoagies! I've never had one so I decided to not be basic and try their Whacked Chicken sandwich; it's chicken cutlet , sharp provolone cheese, topped with pesto and bruschetta (yummy) and babbbyyy this was delicious I was totally shocked lol . I got a small size because I don't eat bread but this sandwich was soo good. It's a must try !! Totally sorry I didn't take pictures i was so hungry lol my husband got an American sandwich with balsamic vinaigrette. This place is a must try I promise your going to love . After hearing about how great Primo Hoagies subs are, I had to try for myself. I ordered an Italian hoagie with all the toppings expect for mayo. Meat was great, can't go wrong with Thumans, especially with the meat sliced very thin. All condiments that were added were perfect. The bread however was terrible. Very spongy, not crispy and soft on the inside like a good hoagie roll that I'm used to. After a few bites, if I could have returned the hoagie for my money back I would have. No fault of this location. Bread can make or break a good hoagie, in this case the hoagie lost to the bread. Not an old fashioned hoagie shop like they market it to be. I was told that wasn't possible, And the manager was dismissive of my concerns. I offered to text a photo. I received a snarky comment back saying "I don't want your photo". Had a Primo Hoagie Saturday and was shocked how small they were for the money. Jersey mikes has a much better value for your money.

First off, the menu is HUGE. It took me a good five minutes to decide what I wanted. They have multiple selections in each category (specialities, diablos, cutlets, healthy choice, meatless delights, and classic standards). The hoagies were made to order and all the ingredients were fresh. They also have pre-packages sides you can add to your order like macaroni salad and pasta salad. The staff at this location was very nice. I asked the cashier for a to-go box and instead of just handing me a box she offered to wrap it up for me. I will definitely come back to this location when I'm in the mood for a good hoagie. read more

My husband and I got two medium-sized Primo Hoagies today, and with a tip, they cost us $35. Why is this place asking for an 18% tip for a couple of sandwiches? Even Longhorn and Carrabba's don't ask for that much of a tip for a takeout order. We'll be buying our sandwiches elsewhere from now on. read more

My change was supposed to be $4.72, but because they didn't have quarters, she asked if "I need the 72 cents." I said "no" thinking she would give me $5.00 because most food/restaurants would do that. But she short changed me and gave me $4.00. Not a real big deal, but it's just the principle of the thing. Let me start off by saying,my coworkers and I ordered a variety ($56 worth) of hoagies to be delivered for lunch. We all agreed that the lunch meat is very tasteful, but all of the hoagies (bread) were very hard. The shredded lettuce was brown. Not worth $5.99-$6.99 for a small. When calling in our order, the lady was very rude who took our order. She acted like I was bothering her by calling in an order to be delivered, I tried to give her directions to our locations for the delivery person and she kept interrupting me by talking to someone on her end. As you probably guessed already, the poor delivery guy had to call me because he was lost, only if the rude young lady would of listened when I gave her the directions when I gave her our order. As many of you know, I am new to PA. And new to Primo Hoagies.... Never been there before! I stopped in for a sub for lunch and the clerk was so snippy and snarky. She was very rushed and was losing patience when I kindly asked her to repeat herself. She rattled off like 10 questions, salt and pepper? Peppers? Pickles? Lettuce? Tomatoe? Onion? Oregenao? Cheese? Seeded roll? Wow ma'am... Calm down. I know how to efficently order a sub, just didnt appreciate her bascially snapping at me for my order, how rude! She was very condensending and rude. Talking down to me. What a turn off, bitch! Not a great way to welcome a newbie! Sub was terrific! Fresh bread, ingredients, luscious succulent fresh carved, thin sliced deli turkey, soo satisfying. I am a Jersey Mike's lover but they have been out of Roast Beef for weeks now so I decided to give Primo a try. Very odd experience when ordering online; tried to order through Uber Eats but they don't give correct topping options so I tried to order through Grubhub. Not good. Maybe most people like this place because they put about a pound and a half of meat on your hoagie. When I want a hoagie I want equal amounts of meat, cheese and letuce and tomato. No lie, the tomato and lettuce were so scant it was like why even bother. The lettuce was shredded so fine it disintegrated into the roll and there was barely any of it. Eh, my husband loved it...I thought it was just okay. Probably had more to do with our choices than anything. I got the soprano...cracked black pepper turkey, sharp provolone, roasted red peppers and oil/black pepper/oregano. I added some lettuce & tomato as well. It just didn't mesh well as a sandwich. Everything was good flavor apart but just didn't work in one roll. My husband got the Italian Diavolo and loved it...a great mix of Italian meats & cheese with a kick of spice. It was pretty good. Don't like that the menu board is price-less, but they have plenty of paper copies of the counter to read that do have prices. Yes, not cheap by any means, but quality ingredients are pricier. Went to Primo Hoagies for the first time today because I had heard a lot about this place and I was not disappointed. They use real deli meats unlike the "meat" you find at Subway. Plus the selection of deli meats was incredible. Stuff you would never find at other sub shops. The roll had a great crust but was chewy in the middle. I got the Napolitano (hot sopressata, prosciutto and sharp provolone) and it was amazing. I would love for you to find another deli that gives you that much prosciutto for that price. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the sandwich could've used more lettuce, onion and oil & vinegar. They were over-shadowed by the very large portion of meet that was on the bread. But that is just my preference! Ill definitely be back for more. So many different sandwiches that I would love to try! read more

Love the lunchmeat in their hoagies...Not a big fan of the bread (I don't like firm crunchy bread, just my preference), although the excellent lunchmeat makes up for the bread! Can't beat all the selections they offer...I always end up creating my own anyway! Usually not that long of a wait (unless you hit the lunchtime rush)...Love the rewards card benefits too! They do need more seating at this location, if you do hit it at a busy time it can get kind of crowded waiting for your hoagies to be done (which doesn't usually take too long)! read more

Even though Primo's is a franchise and I'm not too fond of franchises, I have to say their hoagies are AMAZING! All the meats are boars head brand, the condiments are always fresh, and there's plenty of choices to choose from. There is a variety of sandwiches from cold to hot as well from traditional sandwiches like the Italian or roast beef to original Primo creations. They also have sides like potato salad, macaroni salad, dirt pudding, pepper shooters, etc. If you're craving a good hoagie with lots of meat go to Primo's. Skip Subways and try a real sandwich! read more
