On this order and the one previous I received a credit from Slice but still ended up paying $12-$14 for food that ended up in my garbage can. Keep in mind the orders cost between $32.00 - $36.00 after all the fees and service charges are added on. Always an issue with delivery, always late, luke warm food, and food is delivered under unsanitary conditions. Last night I ordered a Hoagie and breaded mushrooms @ 845pm; the order arrived approximately 10:10pm. So almost 1 1/2 hours for the delivery. Ridiculous! I live 7-10 minutes away from their location on MacArthur Rd in Whitehall, Pa. When I contacted them directly on both occasions to express my concerns, they are argumentative, defensive, and rude. The manager, last night actually asked why I order from them? SMH Instead of recognizing they have an issue with their standards as it relates to delivery, they blame the customer in my experience. The Manager last night says he knows me indicating that I have some sort of an agenda. My only intention/agenda is to order something to eat that is edible and I feel confident the preparation and handling of the food I order is done with high standards. Silly me! The delivery person has my order in a canvas bag not in a warmer bag. Previous order was delivered again without the benefit of a warmer bag and food was not protected e.g. sealed. The guy handed me my breaded mushrooms; the container lid had a burn hole in it! Crazy! To answer the Manager's question as to why I order from them; my choices are limited but rest assured I will not order from them again!
