It went to 300 dollars a month for about a year with no other options given. We used a tiny space of the unit but that didn't matter to them. They didn't negotiate any other options, toys remained in the until maybe worth 300 when we were charged 300 for a year month after month. I would never give them business or recommend business again. What started out as a compassionate business quickly gave us the cold shoulder. Just sad.

The first floor units are much easier to access & were more desirable, During our most recent move out, we ran into other renters who decided to spread out their items across the walkway while sorting through items. While this was inconvenient, not sure it's really management's fault. I would use again, if I was in need of a storage unit in Houston.

ExtraSpace has double-charged me every month for 4 months; I continue disputing fraudulent charges with credit card company to get a credit. ExtraSpace accounting dept. is a mess. Even worse, they ran a "special" online offer for only $80/month. I specifically asked how long the rate would be in effect, and was told at least 6 months. They increase my rate after only 2 months at 100%-DOUBLING the rate to $160. Classic bait-and-switch. They refuse to offer a discount of 10% or one-month-free for a lump sum 6 month or 12 month rental, probably so they can jack up the rate every 2 months instead of 6 month price stability. He was friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in, explained everything clearly too. We could see the security TVs behind him, and that's great knowing that this place is secure! Kevin offered to take us to the unit and show it to us, and made sure we understood how the lock and gate worked. He made a generally annoying task very easy! He never hesitated when asked a question - this man knows his stuff! If you need a storage unit, this would be the place to go!

This U-Haul location was horrendous. The employees all smelt like weed. The employees were…read moreliterally moving the speed you would expect when someone smells that strongly of weed. The lady I worked with decided she wasn't going to communicate with me. She didn't answer my questions and several times asked me if I've ever rented a trailer before while I continued to reply, no. Several employees were just sitting in rental vehicles on their phones even though the lobby was full of people trying to rent. I can't believe U-Haul would force people to rent from this location.

Life is hard enough and its a shame to recieve bad customer service from miserable people that clearly do not like their job.
