The staff are always polite whenever I visit; every time I'm short on packaging tape, they offer to seal my packages for free. During a slow hour with no line, I'm in and out of the store within one minute. However, on any given afternoon, the line wraps around the entire room due to inefficient servicing. UPS management, if you're reading this, I'm begging you -- save one spot at the counter for drop-offs only. You all probably know by now that the bottleneck in wait time is due to the customers that require more extensive shipping services (i.e. packing, creating a shipping label), which leaves many of us waiting for 5-10 minutes just to hand you a package fully ready to be shipped out.

I had over 20 bags, and they brought a large moving box that made transporting everything to my new place so much easier. Miguel and his team were incredibly patient, kind, and careful with all of my belongings. One of the guys even took the time to fix drawers that had previously become loose from normal wear, which I really appreciated. My second experience was this past weekend. They call 15 minutes before they are supposed to show up to tell me that one of the three guys cannot make it. Furthermore the two guys I do show up start the day off by complaining that this is going to take way too long... I struggled to keep their attitude from interfering with my excitement about moving. It was evident in their attitude to the we're working slower as well and so I did tell them after 4 hours to stop because I wanted to get home at a decent hour. Then they waste an hour trying to Bill me before they unload.... and while unloading none of the boxes are put the correct rooms(in a 1200sq ft apartment) even though I spent an hour color coding them. My complaints were handled with a crass attitude and the question "what do you want me to do about it" I agree that movers can be a bit of a mixed bag but the customer service was just as bad as my second experience with this company I wouldn't recommend anybody else using it either.

On Friday, I booked a move for today 10/19, 1-3 PM. At 12:16 PM Melvin called stating a driver would be reaching out to me soon. Melvin called back at 2:46 and said "yeah our guys are just backed up right now and won't be able to get to you until some hours, can you take a priority move for tomorrow?". After I said I could not, Melvin stated he was going to reach out to his "sister company" to get additional assistance. At 2:52 Edward called and casually stated "This is Edward, we'll be there in an hour". At 4:31 I called Melvin back and asked him what was the update with the sister company. He stated "let me call them and see". He called back less than 2 minutes later and casually said "yea our guys had an emergency on the way to you nobody is going to be able to move you today." This company treated me as if I was the problem when I paid for a service they were not able to render. Melvin knew at 2:46 PM they were not going to provide services, yet kept me waiting hoping I would settle for a "priority move" Monday. They were not apologetic about inconveniencing me, letting me know they do not think they are replaceable.

The workers are always friendly, helpful, quick and efficient. It's typically well staffed and the line usually moves pretty quickly. The only thing I don't like is that they're not open on Sundays.

Really convenient location defines the utility of this store. Right at a busy intersection (and…read moreacross the street from my work) make it perfect to stop by on the way to something else. The only drawback is that because of the busy intersection, it can be tough to get to if you're coming from another side. Parking is plentiful in a shared lot with several other stores and restaurants. The lot is hard to navigate in that cars seem to come from multiple directions so proceed toward the store closely and keep your head on a swivel. My limited visits they make it easy for drop off returns with all the supplies there you need. Ample floor space and clean. Staff seems nice, hardly said a word or two to them (again, usually just dropping off a pre-labeled item and they hand me a receipt). I'll continue to use this as my primary UPS drop off spot and for occasional supply shopping if needed.

I interviewed about 6 moving companies and right away from talking with Abner I felt comfortable. Other moving companies were very persistent, trying to sell me, and seemed dishonest. Abner was very responsive and straight forward but did not contact me again after initial quote until I decided to go with him. He garunteed pick up date and arrival date (and time and was 10 minutes early each time!) which was huge for us as our move had to be very scheduled and other companies quoted us a 2 week interval (or more!) of when our items would be delivered. His crew in Houston arrived and packed our entire apartment, included disassembling basic items. They were extremely professional and efficient. Every item even valuable and breakable items arrived in perfect condition. He met us in San Fransisco 5 days later and him and two others unloaded all our boxes and assembled any dissassembled items. Again very professional and efficient. Iron back movers turned what could have been a very stressful move into 0 stress. Abner was extremely hardworking, professional, and easy to work with as was every member of his team. We hope we can use him for any future moves even though we are no longer in Houston!
