Hired them to pack out and store my house after a flood. When moving stuff back in caused nearly $3400 in damage and they stole my folding ladder replacing it with a cheap smaller knockoff. Update 10/25/24: I finally was reimbursed for the broken telescope (the check they originally BOUNCED). But they still haven't reimbursed me for the ~$1150 of items they LOST. They said they would Zelle me at the beginning of the week. They have not. They no longer answer any texts from me. Thieves! Eurmove is a scam. I stored my entire household with them for 6 mos while my house was for sale. Apparently they cannot keep my items separate from other's items because they tried to deliver half a truck full of items that belonged to someone else. I rejected those items and asked where mine were. It took some time for them to recover a few of my things, but many are still missing. I can only assume they delivered them to someone s else who wasn't as honest as I am and they kept my stuff. Then there are the broken items. I was urged by the owner, Dawda, not to file a claim. They'll just cut a check. Of course, he kept "forgetting" to send the check. We finally received it two days ago (7 weeks after our move) and the check BOUNCED!!!!! Now I am left to figure out my best recourse for recovering all that has been lost! Do not use this scam of a company! read more

While planning our move to Texas, our wonderful realtor suggested a company to help us move that she works with all the time. We contacted Eurmove and from the beginning we were happy. Dawda Kahn, the owner was our contact with the company and spoke with us over the phone and was able to quote us a price to ship our household and two cars from California to Texas. We had several set issues and backs in planning our move and Dawda worked with us to make sure that it happened and happened on schedule. Timing was everything. On the morning of the move, the 53' moving van showed up exactly on time and ready to get to work. And work they did and they did it in the rain as well! Alpha, the team lead, Kevin and two other gentlemen (sorry I forgot your names guys) know their business. They knew what they were doing, were very efficient, very pleasant and very professional in safly packing up our household for this move. Six hours later; everything was packed and they were off. They worked hard and were a pleasure to work with, especially Kevin! The van moved everything to Texas and coordinated with us on our arrival and the closing of our new home and with the exact same enthusiasm and hard work, filled our new home our all of our worldly possessions. This team was had the same positive attitude they had when they packed up our house. We finally got to meet the voice behind the phone as Dawda came over to check on the move. He shared his story of how he started his company with his brother Alpha and how it has grown. These gentleman have an outstanding work ethic and really care about their customers. The Owner of this company Dawda Khan attempted to make an unauthorized charge to my credit card. I had to put a block on my credit card. Watch out these guys tried to tack on an additional $400 for insurance and additional $100 for what they originally quoted. In addition to the $500 deposit they wanted to get on their schedule, the day before the move dawda wanted to collect another $1770+ according to the bank that declined his charge. So out of the nte proce of $2400 he wanted practically the whole balance before his workers showed up. WARNING this was a really bad experience hiring them. After initially charging our card $2400 for a $500 deposit, he deliberately ran our last paper check through twice via ach after I specifically told him (and he agreed) not to do anything electronically because of the first incident. He cleaned out our checking account. Then, several days later, he did the same thing to my mother-in-law and ran her single payment paper check through twice via ach. He will not answer calls now. These guys are AWESOME! The crew is so respectful and professional. I'm 8 months pregnant and they took care of EVERYTHING even put the bed together (not the crib due to Texas insurance which is understandable)! The gentlemen were very hygienic (I note this because I'm moving during the time of covid-19). Dawda was very quick to respond to emails and calls and even assisted me when I had a question after hours. They were able to accommodate me on short notice as well. We moved from a house to an apartment that required loading from the house, unloading at the apartment and then unloading at a storage rental. The crew called that they were on their way and showed up on time. They went straight to work and took great care with things. They charge by the hour and my past experience with outer movers was that you had to prod them to keep moving. With Eurmove the crew worked at a good pace the whole time. Very courteous crew. Our daughter used Eurmove and had a wonderful experience. In light of this we contracted with Eurmove for our relocation. Our move went flawlessly and we were very pleased. Then the troubles began. Over the next weeks Eurmove made four random and unauthorized charges to our credit card which they had on file. These charges amounted to over $22,000 (considerably more than the cost of the move!). We instantly contacted Eurmove which acknowledged the charges had been made in error and promised a quick refund. They then asked for two days to determine how this had happened and then ask for four months to pay it back. The owner, Dwada, acknowledged the charges were wrong and promised two payments each month until the full amount had been returned. Now, more than five months later, we have received less than half of what they owe. These last five months have been filled with repeated declarations from Eurmove that a payment had been sent only to be followed by checks that are returned for "insufficient funds," then repeated promises that we would receive two payments per month. We have never dealt with a more dishonest company. They illegally accessed our credit card making four large, unauthorized charges. They repeatedly lie, send bad checks, and lately, have just "ghosted" us. In the rare times they return our calls or respond to our emails they say, "a check was just sent" or one of the other empty promises they have repeated over more than four months. After showing a draft of this review to Dwada he promised (again!) to make two monthly payments until the full amount was repaid. I told him as long as he did this I would not post the review. He made one payment on March 4th and, once again, stopped making them and we are now 4 days past his last promised payment. DO NOT USE EURMOVE! I hired this company to move my furniture under the assumption that they will put floor covering to protect the wood floors. They only put a 2' x 5' piece of material by the door and went on to cause $2,500 in damages to my wood floors. This after I repeatedly requested that they are careful with the floors and furniture. They skipped on covering some of my furniture with shrink wrap as I requested. I paid for 4 movers, yet one of them skipped out 3 hours into the move. The owner stated with my furniture it shouldn't take more than 3-4 hrs to pack and load (all they needed to pack was furniture pieces, everything else we packed and stacked in one room for them to load). They stretched out the packing to 8 hours. They then charged $550 worth of supplies for 175 disposable blankets even though I only had 37 pieces that they covered and they only used one blanket per piece. The owner is a complete swindler and tried to take advantage of me and has not returned any calls to fix the invoice or the damage to my floors. He pretended not to know about the floors when I personally saw his lead mover send him pictures of the damage and then called him about it. Stay away from this company. Run away run away! I had hired Eurmove to move my stuffs from Houston to Dallas on May 27, 2017. You would think hire a mover to relief your stress some while moving but this company made it worse. They scratched my woodfloor in a 3 years old house and I kept calling and calling to get it fixed. Finally, 3 weeks later they hired Simon Lee #SimonLeeistheworstwoodfloorman #simonleeforwoodfloor to fix my woodfloor. Simon lee came in and touched up my floor with color without sanding down and put a clear coat on my floor. He did a job of a 3 years old who's trying to color their color books. My woodfloor now looks worse than it was when the scratches were there. Patches are everywhere! You can see two different tones of color and the scratches are very clearly defined. I called Mr Dawda Khan again and asked to get someone in to fix my floor but he didn't agree to pay for it. Now, it has been more than six weeks and he hasn't responded back to me about my wood floor. Eurmove has a D rating on Bbb.org, go check them out. For the people who are not familiar with the Rating, A+ is good, D is almost a failing grade in school. Stay away. I'll also file a complaint with BBB after I'm done with this review. I am sorry to have to say that our move from Cypress to Livingston was a nightmare with this moving company. It was handled by our realtor and Mr. Khan as they thought they were doing us a favor as we were in crunch time with our move. Even so, neither of them consulted s first before making the arrangements for our move. Eurmove came and packed us(THOSE 3 fellows were great packers), and they had to store our household for 5 days, then a different group of "smaller persons" had to repack and delivered the truckload to our new place in Livingston. It was a disaster, to say the least, and the men scratched up our fridge and had dents in it and broke the upper mirror to our curio cabinet. Others items were broken, but we laid that aside and just wanted his insurance company to reimburse us for that damage. WELL, since Mr. Khan NEVER gave us a bill of lading the insurance company would not pay anything for the damage.In spite of the fact that Mr. Khan said"he would take some responsibility for this himself", he hasn't done a thing for us since a year ago March, despite my communications with him, and then he ignored us after 5 months or so. We felt he lacked the integrity of a moving company, and never once apologized for his employers. Our Astros signature from Biggio was lost (or stolen) in the process and was a church statue which belonged to my husband. NEITHER was found or acknowledged by him or his employees. Sorry to say, I would never refer this company to anyone! Wonder why we seem to be the only customers who may have had a problem with them. Wonder why? Find a moving company that is accredited with the BBB! Eurmove is not, so if anything goes wrong you will have a hell of a time getting them to help you. During our move at the end of June, the employees dropped a box of fragile items 12 feet from the back of the moving truck to concrete. Most of the items in the box broke, totally over $800 in damage. Eurmove only reimbursed me for half of the damages, and even only then after I already shelled out my own money to ship them out of state for repair by a professional. I have contacted them constantly about reimbursing me the rest of the amount so that I can buy replacements for the other damaged items. Dawda Khan agreed to pay me for the rest in full on 8/12/17, but I still have not seen the check. The last contact we had he seemed to have forgotten that he agreed to it despite my email chain of proof. We used Eurmove to move this past month. They seemed very helpful at the beginning and sent 8 guys to do the job. 6/8 of the men worked very hard and did a great job. I believe 2 of the guys showed up late, I am not sure why. Two of the guys also didn't seem to care much (walked slowly, dropped items, put boxes upside down). Though we labeled our boxes, many heavy boxes ending up in the wrong room and/or on the wrong floor. After they finished and left, with a very nice tip for each of them, we noticed that two of our daughter's drawers on the dresser, that we had recently bought, were broken and no one told us this when they unwrapped it (they pushed the drawers back in to make it look like it was not broken). They also reassembled our extra refrigerator incorrectly and it made a horrible sound when opening the freezer - luckily, we had another refrigerator delivered for the kitchen and those guys fixed it for us. My husband reached out to Alan, the operations manager, about the dresser and he said he'd have the main guy, Gustavo, who helped with the move, come back out to see if he could repair the furniture. We do acknowledge that this furniture was particle board so it is not typically covered and appreciated that they offered to come fix it. My husband texted Gustavo and he was out of town, but said he'd get back to us. Soon after this, we saw that our other daughter's headboard was cracked really badly. It was behind a pillow so we hadn't noticed. This furniture is beautiful solid wood furniture. My husband sent a picture to Alan and he again said he wanted to make it right and to let Gustavo know. After this exchange, neither Alan nor Gustavo will answer our phone calls or texts anymore. Pretty disappointed at how unprofessional the experience ended for us. This weekend I experienced the most terrible moving experience yet. Moving is a stressful experience and hiring movers should reduce stress and facilitate the experience. Not in this case. If you're hiring movers, I'm just sharing my experience, but use this company at your own risk. The name of the company is Eurmove from Katy, TX. The owner of the company was INITIALLY very thorough, nice and professional over the phone. Problems started 1 day before the move. I get a call saying the truck broke down and they will try to make my appointment for the next day at 2 PM (4 hours later than scheduled). I get a call Saturday AM saying they will arrive at 2 pm. Nothing. The owner showed up at my place to make sure everything went well but the movers said they were stuck in traffic on I-45 and never showed up. I had apologies coming left & right, but apologies only make it so far. The owner gave me a 10% discount for the inconvenience which I thought was a joke &slap in the face. Less than 10 minutes later, I get on I-45 to move small items to my new apt & to my surprise: NO TRAFFIC. Movers were rescheduled for 10 AM the next day.. 1. They were 30 minutes late & took 2+ hours to load the truck & ONLY 30 minutes to unload once my boyfriend, friend and I joined because clearly there was no sense of urgency. 2. They did not arrive with an equipped truck (no straps to hold items in place) 3. A mover threatened to leave my items in my apt & yelled/argued with me. 4. Broke items that they won't replace because "it wasn't their fault" & the owner of the company thought it was a good idea to yell & argue on the phone as well. 5. Overall, a day late in my move that I scheduled. 6. Then the owner had the nerve charge me for additional hours. Only 1 out of the 3 movers was a hardworking person. ...Terrible Experience. Sorry for the long review but my move with Eurmove was just a big adventure that I had to share. I went with Eurmove based on the Yelp reviews I read. I ended up closing on my house a lot earlier than expected so I was in a bit of a pinch. I called Dawda at the beginning of the week to see if he had some availability on the weekend. He did, so I got a quote from him. I ended up deciding to go with a 3 man crew for a 1 Br apartment. I also decided to go with a mattress bag on his recommendation because I knew it was important to keep the mattress clean. Dawda emailed me back with a written quote and to my surprise, the price was different than what he initially quoted me on the phone. I asked him about it and after a little bit, he said he would honour the price we agreed upon in the phone. My move was scheduled for that Saturday. Moving day comes around, and I receive a call from Dawda stating that his truck broke down. He is going to try and find another truck and call me back. Waited a few more hours and spoke with Dawda again. Still can't find a truck. It was getting later in the afternoon, still no truck. Dawda called and said he wasn't going to be able to move me today. He would have to do it Monday. I asked him, to make up for the fact that he couldn't show up on the move date, if we could make a stop down the road on Monday after his crew was done packing up my stuff to a friend's place to pick up a washer and dryer. Dawda was more than happy to accommodate. 2nd moving day comes around. First, the truck and crew showed up about an hour or so late. Secondly, only 2 guys hopped out of the truck instead of 3. Called Dawda, and he said one of the guys didn't show up. Okay... Crew started moving boxes and furniture. Guys wrapped my mattress in a few blankets, and cling wrap (for $10, I was expecting a bag similar to the ones that comes with the mattress to protect it). I asked the guys about the mattress bag, they said "it's going to be fine" Ended up taking about 4 hours or so to finish packing the truck. My wife and I ended up helping at the very end just because the guys looked super tired and it was taking much longer than expected. Hence why I wanted a 3 man crew in the first place. Drove to my friends to pick up the washer and dryer, and headed to my new house. Dawda showed up and introduced himself. He helped with unloading the truck. He was very friendly and was definitely not afraid to work. Nothing ended up broken (as far as I know - haven't unpacked everything yet) Then it came down to talking about the cost for the move. He stated he would charge me the 2 man rate. Which basically negated the agreed upon price I initially mentioned as it ended up being (I forgot the exact pricing but obviously the less you buy, the more it will cost per hour) 230 or so for 2 hours instead of 250 for 3. He then charged me the standard per hour rate after that and charged me the 3 man per hour rate for when he showed up and helped. Don't think he charged me for the mattress bag, so I'm assuming that the blankets and cling wrap weren't considered it, which is fine I guess. But it definitely ended up being a little more than what I had estimated in my head, but I was just too exhausted to argue about it. I honestly felt the move would've taken less time if I had 3 guys move my stuff like I wanted in the first place. I believe Dawda is an honest and genuine guy that's just trying to run a small business so I don't fault him for that. It was just the situation I guess. In conclusion, Dawda and his crew are very hard working, friendly, and did a good job. Dawda was willing to work with me to make up for not meeting certain expectations. I would say his price was comparative to other quotes I got. Was it the worst experience I have had with movers? No. Was it the most amazing? No. It was ultimately an okay experience. read more

I hired 4 guys for $100 per hour to move a full 4 bedroom house of furniture from storage to my new home and they completed it in about 5 hrs. All of the guys working took there time, but kept a good pace and were very careful not to damage any of my stuff. Dowda is the guy that owns the company and he supervised the entire move. My roommate and I moved out of our 2 bedroom apartment in Nov 2014, and had a positive experience. The movers were very friendly and overall were hard working. To make things easy, we elected to use their storage facilities until my new house was ready to move in to in January. When discussing the storage rates and moving rates with Dawda (the owner) via phone prior to the move, he neglected to mention that there would be charges for moving beyond a certain distance from Katy and a storage lock fee. However after I pointed that out, he apologized and promptly refunded me in full for those charges. The owner seems to be very professional and I have only positive things to say about my experience and dealings with him. The movers actually showed up about an hour early (previous move ended early), and started loading all the furniture up. Loading up the truck took a little longer than I would have expected, but they took care when handling my furniture and wrapped delicate items in blankets free of charge, so I can't complain. I plan to use the company again to move my furniture from storage to my new house, but will request a quote with all charges detailed to avoid any surprises. My grandparents used this company to move into a retirement apartment. The movers were horrible! They mishandled my grandmother's China and some of it was broken as well as some of her expensive porcelain figurines. I watched as boxes were tossed and moved hurriedly. BEWARE!! This business claims to be honest and have integrity but they do not. I'm guessing if nothing goes wrong in your move you wouldn't know. They claim to be insured but if they destroy your property like they did mine, they will not take responsibility, even if you have pictures and witnesses and an admission of fault by the owner. I wish the owner would have at least just discussed options to come to a reasonable resolution. Instead he hung up on me mid-conversation and I'm being forced to deal with it on my own. EURMOVE is solid. We were searching hard for a reputable interstate moving company, when I saw Eurmove's reviews on Home Advisor. I noticed that Manager Allen Beaulieu had taken the time to respond to every review personally, while leaving his contact info. Allen came out to our home & was personable & professional. He explained that unlike the major van lines, they would be using a dedicated truck to transport our belongings, & there would be no waiting to find out when our truck would arrive, because they ship to your schedule. Also, their full replacement cost insurance add-on was reasonable. We decided to give them a shot. These guys did a great job. Mr. Fred & his crew were professional & courteous at ALL times. They were careful with our things, while still working quickly & efficiently. There were NO slackers on their 5 man loading team. All had a positive attitude.
