Nice spot for a casual dinner. We sampled the Poutine and the Fried Sprouts. Burgers were yummy and all the ingredients were fresh. The brownie sundae was enormous and delish! Tried to eat here but apparently everyone got there at the same time and after the hostess spend 10 minutes decided how she could see us at the 20 open tables inside and out it was going to be a 30 minute wait. I think we found our replacement for all our regular burger places that closed from COVID! PERFECTLY cooked medium rare (worth the wait) huge burger on a luscious bun. My one complaint is that they doused it in sauce, but that's an easy fix in the future by asking for sauce on the side. Took a bit for service, but the bartender noticed and jumped on it. YUM! Had a lovely time trying out this spot. The servers were friendly, attentive and great with recommendations. They have a wide range on their menu, so everyone will be able to find something whether a snack with a drink or a full on burger. There are so many DELICIOUS apps from fried brussel sprouts (get them well done!) to PB&J wings! There are plenty of entrees including insane burgers, salads and mac n cheese. We tried the Buffalo Mac and were quite happy with the flavorful creamy dish! The actual burger patty in the steakhouse burger was absolutely delicious, they even mix steak into the blend! And don't forget to leave space fo dessert, they have DECKED out milkshakes, which is the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. Definetly would go back, just for that BOMB burger blend! read more

My wife and I took the family which included my son and his wife and their two sons. First, got to say, great hamburgers. You get to choose the meat. How neat is that? Plus, choose the rolls. The beer selection is great. Four of us had beers (free tastes,which I always appreciate). Our grandsons had chocolate milks and the waitress brought them, unasked, refills. Service was great. I've had their Kobe burger several times during quarantine, via DoorDash. It is BY FAR the best burger of all the possible burgers in my ordering radius. Simple, meaty, well-cooked. Perfectly (lightly) seasoned...nothing to mask with over-seasoning. The meat speaks for itself. An entire meal even without a bun. The fries are fresh and hand-cut and delicious. The Bavarian pretzel is so big I can never even finish half of it because the burger fills me up so much. Being able to use a gift card and or a credit card should be allowed without an additional charge to the customer. Love this place. Unpretentious, friendly neighborhood spot. The friendliest and most attentive staff, from the hostesses, to the wait staff and the manager. Everyone is busy, yet not so busy that they don't help you with a smile. Terrific beer and bar selections, too. As for the food, you'd expect the burgers to be awesome, and they are. Lots of creative options, or you can build your own. Other menu choices are also excellent, including the steak and chicken sandwiches. The sweet potato fries, and the marshmallow dipping sauce, are addictive. I have never made it to dessert, but the giant milkshakes on other tables look cray good. Our party of 8 came in right after 2 huge parties had been sat before us, and they were able to make room for us and get us sat right away. Tried this place multiple times. Want it to be good because Commack needs a good burger place. Temperature on the burgers are inconsistent. Sometimes good other times over done. If your going to name the place burger bar cooking to proper temperature shouldn't be an issue. Hopefully they can get this fixed. read more

We got two different burgers my wife had I and both were cooked to perfection. Medium and juicy as hell! The hand cut fries were also perfect. Not salty at all! We were happy to learn that same owners of NY burger bar are now near our part of town and although when we walked in there was a bit of wait and it seemed the hostess needed some help figuring things out (kinks when u first open) and when we were seated the waitress didn't see our table in the corner and we had to ask for her to come in (again opening kinks) but with the manager buying us a round (omg the ketucky bourbon ale is awesome) and the food being so delicious it was all worth the wait! Really wanted to enjoy this place - Was so excited to see a new hot spot in town. First off, we ordered a flight of beer that 3 out of the 4 were watered down and the last good glass was broken. The beers i chose were beers i normally drink so i noticed the difference in taste immediately. The bacon on the burger was raw. The fries were the last of the batch, i don't even think i had a full fry in the mix. That being said, the bleu cheese was delicious and the overall burger was decent. I had very high expectations for this place. It's always packed and reviews are great. I ordered the ultimate grilled cheese, my husband got the drunken goat burger. Neither were as advertised. Grilled cheese: "Tomato jam" was chopped tomatoes, "onion straws" were sauteed onions. Everything was smothered in brown gravy. Burger: not sure if it was the correct one as "candied bacon" was simply bacon, barely any goat cheese, and "cabernet sauce" was brown gravy. 2 stars bc my kids' kids meals were correct, the waitress was sweet, and the live music entertained my 3 yo.
