Quite decent, mid-range 'fancy-casual' Italian which is more upscale than your neighborhood Pizza Express but not quite Strada level. This one is particularly nice due to it's location near the theater and shopping. Plus I like the extra contemporary simple interior with light wood and the curvaceous counter separating the middle. Good for: -post graduation lunch with the grandparents after you already celebrated with your parents -telling-your-best-friends-you-got-engaged dinner -no reservation necessary post matinee lunch -perk up salad after shopping session We had a taste card so most food things were half off and definitely worth it. My 'Breasola' (thin slices of cured beef, rocket, olives, bella lodi cheese, mozarella, and tomato) was average at best as there was not nearly enough cheese or sauce on it given that there should have been two kinds on it. Also, skimpy on toppings. I hate unnecessary scroogery. Had a slice of the 'Steak and Rocket' (rare steak, red onion, tomatoes, olives, bella lodi cheese, mozzarella, and rocket) which would have been a knock-out but for the barely there sauce and chese. I just arrived home from Prezzo in Piccadilly Circus and what a shitty experience. As we've done at countless mid-range chains since the birth of our child, I met my wife and kid after work at a place that the child would eat, and we could enjoy a glass of wine (250ml no less). After receiving the kids meal and a drink the manager arrived at the table and asked us if we wanted to order our mains so we informed him that we would not be ordering food. This man starts going nuts, telling us we can't drink without ordering a meal, and just keeps going on and on. I actually had to ask him to leave us alone, he was majority harassing my vibe. It's not our problem your waiter served me a drink, yell at him, or rather, grow up and treat people well. I'll have to get my executive VIP pizza elsewhere. read more

I went here for lunch with a few friends from work. I got here first so I was sat waiting for them for some time. But, this was not a problem at all. They served me my wine and left me be until my friends arrived. I have to say what put this from a 3 star to 4 star is the service here. One of the waitresses lent me her iPhone 5 charger as my phone was dying and let me plug it in! Top shout. We all ordered lunch and the food was out quickly. Which is great if you need to be in and out for a lunchtime break. The food was typical Prezzo food and standard, there's not much really to add about it. It was nice. The toilets were immaculate. The air con was a bit brutal and I went to put my coat back on, but we said something and the waitress heard so she went and turned it down a bit, which was good of her. We went through quite a bit of wine ;) and we didn't have to wait or try hard to get the waitresses attention, which is always good when you are doing vino with the girls! This is a strong contender in the area for a regular lunchtime haunt to go. We have been and we definitely be going back. read more

After wandering around Piccadilly Circus a few friends and I decided to choose a place to eat that would satisfy everyone's picky palettes without having to pay too much. We didn't want to walk too far away from where we were, but rather hungry, so decided on Prezzo - everyone likes Italian food! What must first be understood is that Prezzo is a chain, like say Zizzi or Pizza Express. However, they don't specialise in only pizzas, and have a much greater appeal than your average high street chain Italian restaurant. Entering the restaurant we were greeted by friendly staff. After sitting down it was the usual series of events - menus given, and not long afterwards asked for our choice of drinks for the evening. The menu didn't seem too different at first from any other Italian chain, except I saw a small range of Calzones on offer - which I went for - a choice I didn't regret! Having tried calzone in Italy, I would say these weren't at all bad for a chain Italian restaurant in the middle of London. The calzone was soft, and filled just right with cheese, tomato sauce, mushrooms and meat. The pasta and pizza ordered by the others looked well presented and everyone found the taste satisfactory. The bill came to roughly £17 per person for three meals, a side dish of chips and two drinks. For the location and the atmosphere, I would say this is very good value for money. The staff were friendly and one even inadvertently joined in our conversation about something else or another. I would recommend trying the calzone since for the same price it's a little different from the usual pizza and pasta. Ideal if you do not want to move too far from Piccadilly circus and need an affordable yet somewhat above average atmosphere to eat in. read more

You would expect a decent Prezzo branch in busy Piccadilly, wouldn't you? Unfortunately the cooking here was below par. Combo Pasta - Spaghetti with King Prawns and Spaghetti with Meatballs - were not properly heated, so one part was cold and the other part was just warm. It could only happen when they used the pre-cooked pasta and carelessly reheated it in sauce. Chicken Milanese was burnt and dry, and came with very small salad. The service we received from the manager was lukewarm, but when the proper waitress took over, it was far better. The toilet was shocking! It had seriously bad odour. This made me think what their kitchen was like. We would definitely not going back. read more

Service was beyond awful here, my boyfriend and I were visiting from the US we walk into this place and the guy points for us to sit at a table. Doesn't follow us over with menus or ask if we want some water. No one comes over for 15 minutes, we still have no menus on the table and no one bothers to check on us. We spot a waitress and very nicely say excuse me can you help us. Her reply, "hold on" in very rude tone. Another 5 minutes go by and still no menus were brought to us. Finally the man who originally sat us walks past and we have to ask him for menus...his reply, "oh sorry I forgot." Hands us the menus and doesn't come back for another 15 mins. When he comes back he takes our order and we ask for him to please bring some water ASAP. He says okay, walks away and never gets us water. We wave for a server ask her to bring us some water, she says okay, walks away and goes and does something else. We wound up walking out. Service was was appalling, the servers were rude and acted as if we weren't even there. Do not bother going here. It's also a shame since the menu and food look very delicious. I went to this restaurant with my wife and my baby boy without reservation in the weekend hoping to find a table and the manager was too kind and managed to get us one. I tried their beef lasagna and absolutely love it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like is the size of the restaurant and the toilet was a little bit dirty and need some care. read more

I would rate it less than 1 star if I could. The whole experience was terrible, and explains why the restaurant was practically empty given Piccadilly Circus was packed with tourists. Hostess/waiter was absent any common sense whatsoever. To top it off, when it was obvious we were done with our meal (Pizza was half eaten), she pulled the meal from the table and then we sat there for 15 min before flagging her down and asked if we could have our check and the boxed remainder of the pizza. She says Oh, I didn't realize you wanted the rest. No wonder this place is receiving so many negative reviews. Not an endorsement, but you would have a better experience at PizzaExpress. read more

Only got the pizzas. Fantastic pizzas with great service. Really enjoyed my dinner and would come back for the pizza!
