Honestly, the worst nail experience me and my friend went in to get our nails done During my…read moreappointment, the product they were using burned my hand and caused a wound. Even after I was hurt, they continued spraying alcohol directly onto the wound, which was extremely painful and uncomfortable. Both my friend and I also had our fingers cut during our appointments. On top of that, they did not put a topcoat on my nails. I asked for one, but they refused to put it on, so I had to leave the salon and go home to apply my own topcoat. We went in expecting to have a good experience and leave happy with our homecoming nails, but unfortunately that was not the case. The combination of being cut, having my hand burned by the product, having alcohol sprayed onto the wound, and then not having a topcoat applied made this a very disappointing experience. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and makes sure customers are treated with more care and attention in the future.

When I went in it was not a nice atmosphere no music or nice smell. I have sparse eyebrows so I told her just to follow the line and not pluck or wax off to make then thinner. She did a horrible job and put dye where I have no hair and did not even trim the brows. Now I have dark brown almost black hair dye on my eye brows and down the sides. My hair is blonde ??? This was not a good experience and I will not be back.

I had previously had dip nails prior to coming to Umi. I asked for a gel fill with thin natural…read morepink and white gel nails. The first lady was adamant that I need something thicker than gel even though I told her I would like to grow them out and have them look much more natural and to please have them thin. So after she began working, they had to switch me over to someone else who proceeded to do dip nails. Then the new lady kept stopping for one thing or another. I was okay waiting for her to do someone's eyebrows. Shortly after she couldn't find a brush and took forever in the back. Then after continuing to do my nails, she decided that it was time to update some of their books (tracking who was doing what service). I'm very patient and really did not mind waiting even though it was getting slightly annoying. Once I could tell they were almost done, I noticed that the nails looked very, very thick after she was doing the final step...which was exactly what I was trying to avoid and so I asked politely if she could please file them down a bit more to make them thinner, and she said she couldn't file them down too much for some reason I couldn't understand. So I said I just want them to look more natural. So then she proceeds to be very aggressive for the rest of my time there, even when brushing off the dust. That was extremely unprofessional and rude! My nails turned out quite thick even after asking to thin them out. I'm generally easy to please, and don't ever complain or leave bad reviews, but I felt I had to after all that. To top it all off I was overcharged! I asked if she could add $10 to the $60 total so I could pay a tip. So she did put a $10 charge on there plus an additional $10 charge for acrylic removal even though I did not have acrylic begin with. When I asked if she added the $10 tip on there she said that they don't do tips on the machine and that I needed to pay cash for the tip. So I'm baffled as to what the extra $10 x 2 was for. I didn't want to make a scene and so I did end up paying another tip, but I probably shouldn't have at that point. I went in wanting thin natural gel colored nails which probably wouldn't have cost no more than $50 bucks and wound up paying over $100 after all was said and done. This was my first time at this salon and it will surely be my last. Smh.

She got dip powder and the tech did not cure them what so ever. She out setting gel on top and that was it. My daughter can literally push in her nails. The tech also got her cuticles 5 different times. When the issue was brought to the main persons attention - she attempted to gaslight my daughter and kept telling her there was nothing wrong with them. When I was done and we showed them comparing my nails to hers, the lady just sorry and insisted that she pay for her service, regardless of how trashy it was. Very disappointed in the actions and response from them. As long a they got their $50, they were good. Don't waste your time here. They don't care about quality or safety here. The only reason I am giving them one star is because of my nails or else this would be a zero star review.

As a residence of victory we try to support all…read morelocal businesses but when the service is not good and they illustrate a lack of compassion towards their customers that is where we draw the line and stop using their services. This is the case with the Vic Spa. We had made spa reservations for my wife and two friends who were in town to have their nails done the day after New Years Day. The day of New Years Day one of our friends received bad news regarding a family member and had to book an urgent flight back home that evening. The day of the spa treatment which was the next day our other friend woke up not feeling well. She wanted to give it a bit to see if she would maybe feel better but did not so we called the Vic Spa to inform them of the situation and that we would need to cancel the three appointments. They informed us that they would still have to charge us as it was less than 24 hours notice. I'm not sure how we could have given them 24 hours notice since the day prior the service was New Years Day and the entirety of our situation all occurred less than 24 hours before the service. We escalated to their management who still is not empathetic to the situation but did offer to reduce the charges for all three appointments by 50%. I've since read online that others have had similar experiences regarding 24 hour notice at The Vic Spa. In addition to this experience my wife has shared that the couple of times she used the Vic Spa for nails she's had to have them redone in less than a week. We've since found another spa place that has much better service and have not seen issues with nails chipping or flaking. We will continue to use other services like the Vic Kitchen and Bar where we have seen excellent customer service but we will not be back to the Vic Spa and would advise anyone considering them to be ware of their poor service and management.

I requested a deluxe pedicure, however the nail technician failed to do the bare minimum. She walked away multiple times leaving me to soak in cold water. I am short $63, left with a burned foot and only nail polish. Yes I had multiple opportunities to leave, however after being postpartum was desperate for some relaxation. Apparently that was too much to ask for!
