Nice place! My mom and I came here. I got the gel manicure while my mom gets a pedicure. The lady who did my nails was a nice Vietnamese lady. She almost gave me a french tip which I didnt ask her. Luckily I stopped her and asked for a different gel color. It was my own fault, I should have asked before she started. She painted my nails a beautiful glittery green. She was a little confused when I told her my favorite colors because I guess she thought she messed up on my nails. Luckily the man who works here helped her understand. My cousin and I went this morning around 10:30 for pedicures and we both got the #4 (organic luxury pedicure w/ 10 min massage). The location seemed mostly clean and the staff was pleasant except for the nail tech doing my pedicure. Instead of a massage she used her nails and scratched my legs; I didn't realize how badly until I got in the shower as I was wearing pants (pictures attached). Walked in yesterday morning for a pedicure and full set. I love the new clean modern look of the salon. The staff was very friendly and did a great job. The place was busy even at 9:30am. Don't usually leave reviews but here I am. After reading the other reviews on this place I decided to give them a try with Apple as recommended by others. It was a good experience so I booked another appointment with her even though my $60 gel manicure lasted only 8 days before they started to chip and peel. I was so sad but still wanted to go back for another try thinking it was my fault the gel didn't last. The front lady wrote my information down and said they would send a reminder text prior to confirm appointment. (They called me before my first appointment to see if I was coming so i thought they'd do the same for the 2nd appointment) That never happened. My fault I didn't write it down so the appointment came and went. I finally call today to ask about availability for a walk in appointment and asked a few questions as to when my last appointment actually was because I never heard from them. She said they don't do courtesy calls and then She asked me to hold so I did FOR 10MINS!? This just happened today 12/21/22 She never returned to the phone and was talking to others in the background? So odd. So I hung up. Not many people have had luck with nail salons around this area. I had been to this salon previously for dip powder. They did an ok job for that service, but my nails were lifting after 2 weeks. I went back due to how close this salon is to where I live. BIGGEST MISTAKE!!! I checked in on their tablet at the front for a pedicure and dip powder fill. I even told 2 technicians when they asked what services I wanted that I wanted a pedicure and dip fill. They sat me down at one station to start removing the current dip powder. The gal burned my fingers with her drill because she wasn't paying attention. She barely put the foil on my fingers - they kept falling off to soak the powder off. I should have walked out then because I had a bad feeling. I told her that I wanted matching polish for my toes for the pedicure. We then move to the spa chair and she starts working on my toes. She didn't soak my feet at all. Filing on my toenails was painful and uneven. I asked her if she was going to soak my feet for the pedicure and she just ignored me. I'm just kinda sitting there puzzled by this. She didn't clean up my cuticles or anything. When she was done painting the toes she wanted me to go back to her station for my nails. I said to her that I wanted a pedicure and she just laughed. I said you're only charging me for a polish change, right? "Oh - you want pedicure?" was her response - well yeah, I literally told 3 people what I wanted. But forget it. So I go back to her station and I'm thinking I need to get out of here. Every time she touched my nails or toes it was painful. I just knew that if I stayed, I was going to be unhappy with the results. It was going to cost me more time and money to go somewhere else to have them fix the problems this place caused. I tell her that I'm not going to get my nails done now. She just kinda looked at me and seemed mad that I didn't want to spend the money. I just wanted out of there as quickly as possible. I go up front to pay for the crappy service and they charge me $35 to paint my toenails and take off the dip on my fingernails. And she didn't even get all of that off. SAVE YOURSELF - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Don't waste your time or money on this joke of a salon. Prices are high, attitudes suck, and poor service. read more

$99 before tip for two gel pedicures. One of the pedicures was for my 9 year old daughter so it was a basic gel pedicure. I don't mind paying that much if the quality is good but it wasn't. Made an appointment for 2pm and they didn't start my daughters pedicure until 2:50. I was hesitant to try this salon because of the negative reviews. However, I had to try it for myself before ruling it out because it's walkable from my house. Yes, she tried to upsell me. Honestly, it seems all salons do. I went in knowing what I wanted and I researched the price sheet, so I was not caught off guard. Yes, they only offered me gel polish. However, I was wearing sneakers and that's what I wanted anyways. I lived in San Diego and this is very typical. I enjoyed my basic pedicure with gel polish, and my manicure with no polish and the prices were great. I cannot review other services but they had a large staff and other customers were receiving acrylic nails and they seemed like regulars. Overall the salon was clean, the tools looked sanitary, and they had the plastic cover over the water bowls which is necessary! The people were nice and I definitely will be back. read more

I would never ever go to this place specially after I been dealt with an eye infection after getting done eye lashes done back on 12/30/22, a day before my birthday!!l so 12/31/22 I woke up with my eye red and puffy but unfortunately I was very busy to worry about this do to I was very busy preparing for my birthday/ new year celebration and right after the party we left for a week out of town, in the mean time my eye keep getting worst with pus draining. I contact this place and was told I need to come by when the girl will be back adding more days to this infection. I got an appointment with my vision Dr and was told was a really bad infection and need medication to see if helps. Finally the girl was there and when I went in there asking to at least give me 1/2 of the 146 I pay the lady say that she told me if I get an allergic reaction to go back ( never was told ) but WELL this was not an allergic reaction, it was and INFECTION!! Then the new owner say he was going to help me as soonest he was done with a customer and to wait. After 10 minute wait he say for me to contact the old owner and he should refund and I told him I was going to record what he was telling me, he ask me to leave his place. I had high hopes for this place and really tried giving them the benefit of the doubt. But the negative comments are true. For me personally, I came about a month ago for an acrylic full set. Although my tech was very nice, the work was terrible and very rushed. All I asked was for an almond shape with white French tips, and two of the nails with gold flake accents (photo even provided for her). My nails were uneven in both length and shape, and built up acrylic was left underneath the nails where I had to cut off with cuticle cutters as best as I could. I was passed on to another tech to do the "artwork. She was so rushed, the tips were painted with squiggles from her rushing and not making them even. On top of that, the acrylic wasn't even set all the way back to my cuticles leaving a gap so I had to go back a week and a half later for a fill. Another negative is the hidden fees. My artwork was an additional $20. What???? Believe all the comments - save your money and go somewhere else. Anywhere else... read more

I walked in wanting to see if someone was able to do a specific design. Only one specialist was able to, but she was booked the rest of the day. That was ok with me. I sat with a wonderful lady who did ,y toes. I unfortunately don't remember her name, which started with a T. My nails were done by Apple. I love my set. She listened to what I wanted and I didn't have to fight to get the length I wanted. After getting the set on and the base color on, Apple worked with me to assist with locating a design I liked and that she could do. A new salon in Verrado neighboring the Fry's is a nice addition. Was able to walk in and was helped right away, mid afternoon on a Wednesday. Opted for a pedicure where they have 5 or 6 options to choose from. I got the second option on the pedicure list that came with a 10 minute massage. My daughter and I went there to get our nails done for Mother's Day. It was her first time. She wanted the gel manicure. The lady didn't prepare her nails. I got Mia to give me a basic pedicure and a basic manicure. She tried to upsell me to other services I didn't want and when I said no she started talking to her other co-worker what sounded like badmouthing me. She rushed through my pedicure and was done like in 10 minutes. She did not check my toenails for ingrown which I asked her to do. When she was done she got up and whipped my toe with her dress and didn't even notice she ruined my polish. I then told her I wasn't going to need my manicure any more and she said a few more things. I let the lady up front know I didn't like the service and she just gave me a nervous laugh and proceeded to charge me. My husband & I went for pedicures. They did an okay job, but paid extra for callous sugar scrub but still have rough heels. My husband's toenails were not buffed down & one snagged & tore his nail. When we went to pay, my husband did a debit card & wrote in a large tip ($15). In the meantime my lady asked for a cash tip so I gave her $10 for both pedicures. I didn't know about the other $15 tip until it showed up on our bank statement. These gals talked to each other & someone should have asked about the double (& very high) tips. Do not waste your time or money! My family just moved to Verrado so I was in need of a hometown nail salon, I decided to take myself and my teenager here for matching gel manicure and gel pedicures the service was horrible and everyone was unhappy with their nails. I asked the mail tech for pink and she was adamant orange will look better with my skin tone I refused and she continued with attitude mind you others were arguing back and forth around me as well to the types of service they plainly asked for but for some reason we're not receiving. As we went to check out the cashier originally said it was going to be $33 for the gel manicures and $35 for the pedicures when I was checking out he said the total is $200 I was in shock paid and decided never to return. In appx 4 days I noticed my gel began to peel off!!! Unbelievable I have never had a gel polish remove so suddenly what a waste of time and money! I've been to this location a numerous times, there's normally a Latin girl with long hair working the front desk and she's always kind. Today i went in and there was a new woman of Asian decent behind the receptionist counter. There there a group of 3 women and one paying with a gift card all checking out. One woman behind them and i had walked in next in line in a bright purple hoodie, another two white women came in after me, once the 3 women where checked out, she serviced the one behind her, looked at me and then turned behind me to check in the white women after she visibly seen me waiting to check in. Why did she choose to ignore me and service the white women AFTER me ? Why was i blatantly ignored while other customers began to question if someone was actually going to help me considering I'm literally standing here! I just walked out, clearly this place on this Sunday doesn't want me or my business here and it's sad and disgusting. This community consists of more than just white women and we don't served to be ignored and mistreated as if our money isn't green too. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Absolutely the WORST experience of my life. I'm a licensed nail tech and don't usually go get my nails done but decided that I would go try this place out since it was right around the corner from my house. The customer service is down right AWFUL I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I asked for a the basic pedicure which is $29 I asked for no color as I was going to apply my own. She then proceeded to tell me it would be an extra $5 to take my gel polish off... which is just ridiculous an extra $5 to not put any more color on my toes.. ok got it. Then she did not trim my nails, clean under them or even shape them. All she did was rub my feet and didn't even spend more than 10 min with me before she got up and said you're done. I was not trying to cause a scene I just wanted to explain to the manager that i was very disappointed and didn't find it fair to be charged full price when she didn't even do the whole pedicure. Then the manager proceeded to argue with me and make a huge scene in front of the whole store and then told me not to come back and told me I was a spoiled brat and I get everything I want.
