Its a fairly snall shop so make sure you call ahead. They were busy with customers when I came in. I had press-on nails and wanted to get them taken off & get my nails cleaned up. The lady was very skillful. It was just $10 to take off the nails and clean up. Highly recommend! read more

The owner runs a very clean business. She has a tool sterilizer, the chairs and stations are sprayed down after each client leaves, staff wear masks and gloves. She always remembers my name as well as family members who have come in with me for their own pedicures. My pedicures last a long time, 2-3 times longer than when I do my own toenails. The prices are quite competitive and I occasionally choose to have a manicure as well as a pedicure. My feet always look fantastic after the callous work, lotion, hot towel, and massage. I don't believe a new nail file/ nail bit were used on me. They didn't have black dip powder which is what I was hoping to get. The design is just ok, and the dip powder was left very bulky and uneven. This is one week later, got my first chip yesterday. Wont be returning. read more

Pretty Nails is a hidden gem of a nail salon. Located in the Uplake Shopping strip, it's tucked back at the end of the row. The first thing that struck me when I walked in was how clean, organized, and bright the salon is. They have a beautiful cherry blossom mural on the back wall and the whole salon feels very welcoming. They have done their due diligence to comply with COVID safety regulations. They took my temperature once I arrived and I noticed that they have plexi-glass partitions at the manicure stations, Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer at every station, the waiting chairs are spaced 6 feet apart and they have numerous signs to remind people about masking as well as certifications on the wall that the employees have been trained on COVID safety protocols. This is SUPER important to me that I feel as safe as possible if I'm going to be sitting in an enclosed area for over a hour. Amy was my nail tech and she was delightful! Very personable, kind, and attentive. She did a superb job on my gel manicure and on my pedicure. They have an excellent selection of nail polish colors and everything is organized by color. The total price for my manicure and pedicure came to $50. For the service, safety, quality and atmosphere they have a customer for life. I will absolutely be returning and I encourage anyone who is seeking a high quality salon experience that won't break the bank, to give them your business. read more

My friend and I went here for a mani/pedi. We walked in and were taken right away. They wrapped our fingers right away while we sat in the pedi chairs. My nails were amazing and they lasted for 3 weeks. They have the dip that I get. Their color selection wasn't very big. But my nails lasted so that's good. The pedicure was a different story. From the second the lady rolled her stool over to me she seemed to be disgusted. She had a look on her face like I was repulsive to her and she didn't want to deal with me. I get that not everyone likes feet. But I walked out of there feeling like I was gross. I've had my feet done a ton and I've never left a salon feeling like I did when I left here. My nails were great! The customer service however is a bit iffy. Not sure I'll go back. read more

Needed a Polish change, was hoping to get my poor miserable foot rubbed, and have a little pamper me time today. I was in Lake Forest Park and just googled somewhere close and cheap to get a pedicure. Pretty nails came up, so I decided to give them a try. Not the most convenient parking lot to get in or out of. That's the down side. But I made it in with U-turns and just a small amount of trouble. I expected to get the funny look when I walked in with a boot cast asking for a pedicure, the ladies were very friendly and nice letting me know to pick my color and have a seat in the massage chair. I really like the bath bowls they have for your feet, and the chairs are nice and big and comfy. The lady helping me, Wendy, was so sweet, making sure my foot was ok, asking what had happened to it. She kept adjusting my seat until it was perfect, brought me water, offered me magazines, anything I needed. Because my foot was desensitized from not being touched in 4 months, it is ultra sensitive now when someone touches it. She was very careful with it, and did her best to make it less ticklish. When she applied the scrub, I thought that it was a pretty sad massage, but I didn't realize she was going to put oils and lotions on too. I was so happy because I really needed a good foot massage, and she was great. My feet felt amazing, my legs felt amazing. I was hoping to get a design on my toes, but I was done just getting alternating Seahawks colors. My toes look good, my feet feel amazing, and it was all for only $23. Clean salon, love the painted cherry blossom tree on the wall, lovely employees, fantastic price. I'll be back. read more

I really enjoy coming here now that I've been a few times. I used to live in Shoreline and would go to a salon there but now that I've moved to this area and have found Pretty Nails, I won't go anywhere else. Nancy and Wendy are very friendly and do a great job doing gel manicures. The prices are average but they have always made time for me if I called same day or even walked in. I've gotten an eyebrow wax twice here too and am happy with the results. I wish the gel polish would last longer without chipping, but I'm guessing it's the polish not the artists. They even give me a free few min massage after doing my nails. The only thing I wish they had was a punch card for visits. I hope to get a pedicure here soon! I recommend! read more

This place is great if you are looking for Shellac (CND Brand or OPI Brand) Gel Polish. I moved to Bothell a year ago, and I have tried ALL the nail salons in starting with closest to met to find the place to get the best shellac. I'm not crazy picky, but here are my criteria 1- That they leave the appropriate gap between nail and cuticle with the polish (if they paint and touch the cuticle, the shellac has a bump on it and ends up chipping 2- That theres not a bunch of extra polish in the "gutters" next to your nail, again it creates a bump that I have to file down. I work for a salon in downtown that offers shellac during the week, BUT I don't want to drive all the way down just to get my nails done. This place is very clean, very kind, they ask me for my name, and repeated several times while I was there, they also greeted other customers by their names as they entered. read more

My new regular nail place! I've never been disappointed going here. Doesn't matter who does my nails, I know I can get a quality salon manicure or pedicure any time I come in. They are good about estimating time so they don't leave you hanging and they never accept more people than they can handle. My last nail salon I use to go to in Bothell would accept everyone left and right...I would end up staying at the nail salon for over 2 hours just to get a shellac manicure and it didn't even come with a massage! I have been coming here for at least 5 years now with my BFF to get mani's and pedi's. Wendy is constantly doing updates to the salon to keep up with the times. They now have fancy big chairs with massagers in them and they will put floating flowers in your water upon request. Also they know have the long-lasting gel shellack. Its awesome! I visited the salon on a Sunday afternoon with a friend and the first thing I noticed was that it was clean and not busy. Which is great because we wanted to drop in and quickly get our nails done. We got a color manicure and even after a week and a half, my nails look healthy and there is no chippage in color. Yay! The two ladies who did our nails were nice and talked with us in conversational English. The one thing I found odd was that we had to pay in the middle of our service (because they did not want us to get our nails damaged if we tried to pay at the end). All in all I would come again For 15 dollars a pop I would say the experience is worth it. read more

They did an ok job on my nails, they looked really nice when they were done and the people are really nice but here are the flaws: two of the nails poped off that night, and the worst part that made it so i wont ever go back is that one of the ladies wasnt paying attention to what she was doing and sawed all the way through the middle of my nail. It hurt really bad and bled a lot and didnt heal for a while and she still put all the nail stuff on it which i think infected it. Maybe it was just my luck but it hurt and scared me so bad that i will not go back again even though my nails looked pretty. read more

Inexpensive and skilled spa pedicure, my wife had to breastfeed while she was getting and spa pedi, and one of the ladies took the time to find her a clean towel to cover her with. The entire shop was very clean and they have brand new chairs that can do amazing things to your back and shoulders! Some of the ladies have a habit of talking amongst themselves in their naive language which may bother some paranoid people, but I didn't really care. I just found this little gem of a place. They do a very nice job, my shellac lasts for 2 weeks most of the time. They are an appointment oriented spot vs. the "pick a color" walk in's you find most of the time in these strip mall salons. Wendy the owner is very nice and remembers your name.
