I ended up calling pretty nails, because the place that I got my nails done didn't want to deal with a couple nails starting to lift in the back! And even though it was pretty close to their closing time, they were confident and willing to help me with a much needed fill! I had never been in to see them before and they immediately welcomed me to come in! Even though they were essentially closed, they were also more than willing to also do a shellac manicure for my daughter too! They even emphasized that they'd take very good care of her and be extremely careful, as she is 9 years old, although very tall for her age. They did such an amazing Job on both of our nails and no problem with staying late to do it, which was extremely nice of them to go above and beyond! They even allowed me to take my time in making the decision on what gel color I wanted for my nails/fill!!! I wish I knew their names, but I had one gale start my nails and then the nice man finished and did an incredible job!!! I even got what they call "Cat Eyes," gel polish where they use a small tool that heats up your nail to make it look magical!!! The very sweet lady that did my daughters nails not only did an incredible job, but she did a "real" manicure!!!! I haven't seen anyone do the entire manicure that I used to get over a decade ago!! She did the massage of her hands and arms with wonderful lotion & she took her time catering to my daughter!!! I couldn't believe it! I told them how excited I was to see that they're actually doing "real" manicures!!! My daughter and I will definitely be sticking with Pretty Nails from now on!!! Side note: they didn't even try to up charge on my nails that were starting to light on the bottom, which the place I went to initially told me they have to up charge me and after booking me, as soon as she found out that a couple nails were starting to lift in the back (which is obviously where the fill is going to take place anyways) she all of the sudden forgot that she had another appointment!!! Which felt like a good way for her to get out of doing my nails!!! She recommended that I go to the Mall!!!! Seriously, disappointed in Alba Nails and told her not to worry because I'd find someone better and I'm so happy I did!!!! I can't wait to go back for my fill as well as a pedicure!!! Thank you all at Pretty Nails for being super amazing and willing!! See you very soon! Nicole Sevilla read more

I loved my nails BUT I didn't like the way they were put on. The lady there used her electric file before putting on the glue and nail and now my natural nails hurt so bad. Using electric files on your natural nails is very harmful to them and can cause infection etc. They were very nice and everything I just do not agree with the electric file on the natural nails. read more

Pretty Nails - Never again!!!!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Albany, Oregon

This is the best nail salon in the greater Salem/Corvallis/Albany area... And I have been to soooo many. Ken and Katie and Diane are fantastic. The pedicures last and last and they don't make you feel rushed. The shellac manicures are terrific and they recently expanded to about 40 colors of shellac. I have been going ever since they opened their doors and never been disappointed. Yesterday was the first time I couldn't get in when I needed to (ken apologized, they had a large wedding party) and I was desperate for my pedicure. I opted for an unnamed place in Salem and was disappointed. Instead of a Pretty Nails trademark massage and careful application of polish, the gal who worked on me actually hurt my toes and when she could not get the polish off, started scraping my nails with a cutter. She also gave me a sloppy pedicure in 25 minutes and did not even get the polish off of my toes. She was much more focused on other conversations than my satisfaction. Never again will I veer away from Pretty Nails! And their prices are cheap compared to others salons too. Like another reviewer said, I have had the "upscale" spa pedis at places in Albany and Corvallis for 45 bucks, and they did not compare with the quality and attention I get at Pretty Nails. Love you Pretty Nails! read more

Best set of nails I've ever had. Went in for a fill (my last set was done at Star Nails in Corvallis and they were crooked) and came out with perfectly shaped nails. Nataly is incredible. Ask for Nataly if you have sensitive hands/cuticles, she's super gentle and has impeccable attention to detail. Everyone at the salon was so sweet and most of the customers were regulars. Highly, highly recommend. read more

I have tried many salons in Salem and Albany I had a great experience I had a mani and pedi for $35 they did an excellent job at both. The salon is clean, great communication and customer service I will definitely go back! Highly recommend this place. read more

Thanks to Yelp, I found this great little salon while on a business trip. Kenny did my acrylic nails with perfection. I was a walk in and I waited just 10 minutes. Very friendly and professional. read more

By far the WORST NAIL SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN INTO!! The man who works there has terrible customer service. I have never written a negative yelp, they are always positive. But this I couldn't hold back, if you must go there, go to Nikki. She gives the best shellac manicure and is a sweet heart! read more

Very basic pedicure. Only 15 minutes from start to finish. The massage was very light and short. Not impressed with polish color selection; many were crusty or glob-like. Not what I would hope for or expect, even at $25. Disappointed in quality and service and don't plan on returning. read more

Horrible place!! I have attempted to get a mani and pedi here 3 times and every time I was told they didn't have time for me. Today I went here as a walk-in and was told by the only employee in the shop and with no customers in the shop, he had no time to do my mani and pedi. If you are not a beautiful suburban Caucasian housewife driving an expensive SUV don't even bother trying to get your nails done here. read more

Kenny has been doing my nails for almost seven years (since Pretty Nails opened) and they always look amazing! read more

Pretty Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Albany, Oregon

This place is awesome. Everyone is so very nice. I started going there when they first opened and Kenny remembers me by name every time I arrive. My girls and I love to go there for "girl time", because of their pricing I can afford it. Their Pedicures are the best. I have gone to the larger salons in Corvallis and Albany and Pretty Nails is the best not because of their pricing I get much better attention to detail here than the other salons. Thank you Pretty Nails for being in my home town!!!! read more

The female worker here had done my full set 3 weeks previously. She had told me that nails should not just come off if the tech does it right and she was right! When she did them they did not come up on the edges or fall off. Legit amazing work! So, I went in to get them filled 3 weeks later. She was gone so a guy there did them and took 25 minutes total because he was rushing me due to his appt coming in and waiting 20 mins already. He cut me too btw! But whatever, so I left and I knew my nails were going to come off due to his lack of attention and filing. Sure enough 3 days later I had 2 nails gone and 4 more coming up on the edges. I called the owner and informed him the issues, he assured me he would take care of it and take them off and then fix them at NO CHARGE and was eager to get me to come in and correct them that day. I get there and a new guy does them, he cut me TWICE! But again, whatever, it happens...I guess...So as I am reaching in my wallet to give him a tip(bcuz that shit is awkward when you don't tip them) the owner starts talking across the room at me saying it was going to be another $40. I reminded him, in the room full of clients, we discussed this correction to be at no charge earlier, over the phone. He then began to yell at me and stand over me in a threatening manner, which made my whole body shake and I started to uncontrollably cry. I can't remember the last time I cried, let alone, in public. I had no choice but to stand up and run out in pure shock and embarrassment. WOW! Just writing this again makes me wish I would have had my fiancé catch him outside. He had no right. I am a loyal customer too, so take this how you want it. But, dude is a dick and they all are terrible at nails there, except the female that works there. read more

Best nail salon is the Willamette Valley. Pedicures come with an awesome 20 minute foot massage. They have a huge color selection for shellac read more

Unprofessional and rude. Poor quality products used. I have given this place several chances, but enough is enough. I am not going to spend my hard earned money at a place that acts like they are doing you a favor to even do their job, and poorly. Kenny is the worst. Warning: Do not complain or you will be told not to come back. read more

Went for a pedi last week - for the price of just $23 it is the best. The massage chairs are terrific - everything is new and the staff are very friendly. read more

This is my second time getting a spa pedicure (which is amazing) and a shellac manicure. Both turned out nice looking. Good service, nice employees, plus there's no overwhelming smell. read more

Been here enough to appreciate the cleanliness of the pedicure spa chairs. Polite and nice folks here. So relaxing to have my feet pampered.

Great place to get your toes done at least. Went with my mom and we both had a pleasant experience and the staff was friendly. Prices are also good. Would recommend. read more

Mediocre at best. They wanted to do my manicure and pedicure at the same time. Both were rushed.
