I tried this place to have my dip redone. People were nice, but I can recommend. Definitely don't go if you are wanting a relaxing spa experience. They had music, tv, loud fans going that were located in each nail station (luckily there were only two technicians working, I couldn't imagine bow bad it would be if more were there) and then they run handheld vacuums to clean their station after filing. My nails...I've had dip done for 6 years now, so I know how they should look. Some of my nails have a thin layer, some thicker towards the cuticle. He did 1 and a half coats. I had to ask for another layer so they wouldn't break. I asked for two of them that he had filed crooked to be fixed (prior to them being finished) he blamed it on my nail and the fact that I had him do another layer of dip but he could make them straight if he did a tip. Umm. When I said I've been getting them done for several years and they've never been "naturally" crooked before he blew me off. Incidentally while I was there, a child was brought in by her mom because she had her nails done earlier and the polish was already coming off and to also let them know she got a rash from the lotion they used. She wasn't angry, just politely asked if they could fix her nails and letting them know about the rash. They took zero responsibility for the polish. Didn't apologize, made every excuse in the book. It was awful. I hope that mom brings her kid somewhere else to see what great customer service can look like. read more

This place used to be a great place to go for your nails, but they changed management in May 2017 and now this place is absolutely terrible. I got a white tip full set and a pedicure. Both were a nightmare. I asked for a white base coat on my toes with a gold glitter over the top. The job was so incredibly sloppy that I was embarrassed to have the polish on my feet and immediately went to another salon to have it replaced. The white tip set began lifting within 24 hours, and had lifted to the MIDDLE of my nail within a week and a half! I've been getting acrylics for years and have NEVER seen that amount of lifting before. I went to get a fill at a different place and they told me they would have to completely remove the set because the gel that the Nail and Spa Center had used was so low quality that it would continue to lift even with a higher quality fill. I tried to give them a second chance and went back for another pedicure and had another terrible experience. I absolutely do not recommend this location and think that the new management do not hold up to the standards that the old owners did. read more

I've had a lot of nail dips done at several places in Corvallis and other cities. The artwork at this place does was highly recommended which I did not get. I got my nails done by a male which I think was the manager but I can't be sure. After he finished with me I had to ask another girl to put more polish on the side because it wasn't shiny on a section of my nail. I felt like they were very thin and rushed. And the next day after I got them done the surface was already scratched. And I don't do anything that would really do that. I just felt like I wasn't really satisfied, well 10 days after I had my nails done my thumb nail chipped in two places and all I was doing was washing dishes. I called today to find out what their timeline was if you felt you didn't get a good job. He said two weeks then when I told him it's been 10 days then that 10 minute conversation went into reasons why they can't guarantee it after 10 days because I said 10 days, and then it was three days, and then, well we can look at it but we can't do it again for free. And I said so you don't have customer satisfaction, then he goes well that's like getting your oil changed and then coming back after 2000 miles and say it wasn't done right, I said no it's not like that, I've had dips that last for at least 4 to 6 weeks. There is not even any grow out. At first he said he would look at the nail but he can't guarantee he'll do it for free and I was like oh OK I can come in then today and see if you can check it and he goes well no not after 10 days we won't be able to guarantee it for free, but we can so it for you again at a charge. Needless to say I will never be going to this nail spa again!!! read more

They cut my skin really badly and the environment was not clean. I was able to get a refund which i appreciated.

I went in for a gel manicure and ended up coming out worse for wear. This salon is one that obviously values quickness over quality. The nail prep was improper (i.e. sawing motions when filing, which can cause nail layer peeling, and quick, careless cuticle nipping that ended up cutting into my flesh causing a little bleeding). Gel base coat was not applied, and the tech tried to short me by only applying 2, semi opaque coats, polish got on my fingers and the lines are nowhere near crisp, plus improper application of topcoat made my polish look mottled and pock marked. On top of my own experience, I noticed that the tech next to me did NOT properly clean and sanitize his station and equipment between clients. The lack of attention to detail, quality of work, and general uncleanness means I won't be coming back. read more

The staff is friendly and in my opinion, this staff actually had pretty good English skills !! :-) They currently have a discount because it just opened -- so my 25 pedicure cost 22 instead ! I don't know how long this discount will last but it was a nice surprise. I would recommend this place to someone who is looking for a manicure/pedicure etc. The place is very clean and their pedicure utensils are fresh/safe/clean. If you have a pedicire packet (for scrub, nail file etc) you could probably bring it, but it seems like they didn't charge me for mine, and if they did - it wasn't much to notice a price difference. read more

I have been looking for a new nail salon since moving to Corvallis for school, & this is the place! I searched all over town on a Sunday afternoon for a place that would take a walk-in & this was the only place that quickly & graciously took me in. The man who did my nails took his time, was polite, & made sure I was satisfied with his work. I have never had a fill as perfect as this one. Came here with a girlfriend to get a gel manicure and pedicure, and was disappointed. Overall I would say my experience was sloppy. My girlfriend had a good experience, but the man who did mine was not. I noticed that they did not remove my nail polish all the way from fingers and toes. My toe nails are cut at different lengths. When I asked for sparkle coat, he forgot, but then put it on sloppily with one brush stroke. The manicure was worse as he burnt my fingers with his mechanical file. He then switched to a manual for the other hand after I insisted the file was hurting me. The gel polish wasn't applied thick enough at the tips so you can see my fingernail after three coats. For some reason, the UV light was incredibly hot and had to be careful to keep my fingers from burning while they dried. I do not recommend the place and won't be back again... read more

I went here before my wedding to get my nails done up and relax with a pedicure, my Maid of Honor came with me too. I loved the massage chairs at the pedicure stations. I got a full set of acrylics and they did a great job on my nails! I did go in a few weeks later to get them taken off, and the tech started ripping them off, which wasn't so nice, but it got the job done... Overall it was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. Went in with my girlfriend so she could get a manicure while I do a pedicure. My pedicure went good but my girlfriends manicure went bad. The guy doing her nails made them extra thick and cut her finger. He passed it off saying "it was a new file, I sanitized the cut already" and still charged us full price. We brought it our own nail kits because we do our nails quite often and he used his own file which cut her. Even after arguing the point he said "if you not happy I can take off the nail" I kept repeating how does that fix the cut? His only solution was to take off the nail and said "I'm not giving refund". We will never go to this place again, there are other better options in Corvallis. read more

I literally always just walk in and get a full set of acrylics with little to no wait. They do the basic nails perfectly. They can handle coffin shape, stilleto, almond, all that, but some stuff, like stamps, they won't have. To get a full set of acrylics for 35, you can't really expect them to keep all those tools in stock. My manicure is almost always flawless. I took one star off for a few botched manicures, but those were a long time ago. They've got some new staff that do a wonderful job. read more

The place is clean and friendly. It's a place where the techs get to know you and listen to what you want. I'm from California and was unclear of the different sanitation laws. Went on a Saturday evening around 5pm. Service was quick and everything looked clean and sanitized. I got a solar full set, French tip, for $36. It took around 30-40mins, and the nail technician really listened to my wants (I like my nails short and thin, more natural looking). Overall, the service was great and I loved how my nails turned out. Bonus- My nails aren't sore vs. previous times when I have gotten them from different places and they were sore for a few days. read more

I've been here a few times now and they do an amazing job on my acrylics every time. The two guys who work there are my favorite they do such a wonderful job. They listen to what you want and I'm always satisfied. Their student discount is pretty good too, $25 for a full set and $15 for a fill! I was attracted to this place by the promotional price they had at the time: $20 for a shellac manicure. I was not a fan of how my nails turned out. The man who did them seemed a little inexperienced with the process. When I asked him to cap the tips so the paint doesn't chip, he seemed confused and ended up literally painting on the polish in short, thick strokes. The color turned out very uneven and I had to ask for a third coat just to mask the jagged paint. The salon seems clean, and I liked the lotion that the manicurist used to massage my hands. Very unhappy with the nail job they did. I went in and asked for acrylic with gel nail polish with a coffin shape. First when filing my nails he made a deep cut into my cuticle and blamed it on being a new file. He attempted to glue my cut but the seal kept breaking and continued to bleed. Then I had asked him to file the nails down because they were really thick and uneven to where one side of the nail would be thicker than the other but he said no because of the shape they couldn't be thinned out (mind you they were pretty darn thick). Regardless of shape, no nail should be uneven. When asked again to fix it since it was more noticeable with the nail polish, he refused (I also posted a picture to show what I'm talking about). He did not take the time to make sure the fake nail was the right size so how I have nails that are smaller than my actual nail. Not only with unhappy nails, but a cut on my finger as well no compromise was made. I will never go back to this place again. read more

Went to get a fill this morning and I don't normally get acrylics and have never gotten a fill before. The man who did it was in a rush and my nails look terrible. They look scratchy from all the careless filing he did. There are bubbles in the nail and you can see very clearly on each nail where they grew out. The staff (with the exception of one man) is very rude and pushy. I do not recommend. Also, their pricing is very confusing. I had no idea how much I was going to spend going in. $35 dollars for French tip acrylics and $20 for a fill. Average price for terrible service. Never going back. read more
