Kenny doesn't have good social skills. After I forgot the appt I book, he confronted me stating he lost money in front if other customers and flirted with me in front of his wife. I really felt sorry for his wife. My other complaint is he won't paint up to your cuticles or the side of the nail. He does that so you come back more. Ugh!!!!! My grandmother worked at a salon, and I can tell he is money hungry. I'm having his wife do my nails so we will see how it goes. read more

New to the area and looking for a new nail place. Painted definitely has the most pics of their work and I was pretty impressed. The place is super cute and simple and with very friendly staff! Kenny is the man! I got a full gel set with gold foil accent. I have a couple crooked nails, and I filed them when I got home because the edges weren't as sharp as I like them. I'm very picky about my nails but overall it was a good experience and I've gotten compliments already after leaving the salon. I'll probably try out a few different places before settling for this as my go-to place. read more

My sister and I tried this place for the first time. My sister had just sat in the chair when the female commented that my sister had already removed her previous polish. The male working there looked at my sister and said "can you even reach your toes"She replied "yes I sure can". Then he acted super surprised and said "oh you're flexible" and proceeded to laugh at her. I'm still in shock that someone could be so cruel and unprofessional. I absolutely love this place and the owners! They are both so sweet and funny and make great conversation! I have been going back every two ish weeks to get my nails redone with gel polish! (my nails grow super fast so two weeks is perfect for me) I never have any chipping and the gel never peels off! They take their time getting the shape of my nails perfect which I really appreciate because they are longer. They always look so beautiful and even and I never want to go anywhere else!! read more

Overall I am happy with my nails. I was a little disappointed though because my left hand nails are longer than my right. Also 2 nails (one on each hand) the skin colored part doesn't line up with the side angle of the nail. Also my middle finger on my right hand is a little uneven and more squared than any other nail. But we are our own worst critic and probably nobody but me notices. This is a great place to go if you prefer a quiet spot with not a lot of talking but if you are social this probably isn't the place for you. The female barely spoke English so conversing was out of the question, but the guy was pretty easy to talk to. I paid for my nails to be done and my sister who got a french manicure with a blue daisy on each index finger. I don't think they like doing nail art such as flowers. Gems and lines seem fine. It was $40 per set which confused me a little since mine took so much more work. My sisters nails were done in about 30 to 40 min but mine took an hour and 40 minutes and honestly I thought my sisters looked better. More even, clean lines while mine seem less even. I think mine took more time because they had to do like 5 coats of yellow to get the right color. I only know exactly the time because I had my rehearsal for my wedding and was worried about the time. I would probably come here again but I wasn't so impressed that I won't check out other places. For me personally it was just ok. And I don't get my nails done often enough to know if the prices were fair. Eirher way I tipped well! read more

I was looking for a place to get a full set of acrylics and after reading the reviews decided to try this place out. I called a few days before to get pricing and was told for a full set they charged $35. Pretty good, right? I went in and had them done. When I was done, the lady that did them asked the guy how much she should charge me and he told her $40. I paid the $40 and left. I assume that the extra $5 was a built-in tip. I called this morning and asked for pricing and was again told $35. This feels really dishonest to me. What if I didn't want to give her a tip, or wanted to give her more? If that's standard practice, they should say so up front. I'm pretty bummed about this because the lady that did them was very nice and did a really nice job. They have been really hit or miss with me, but the problem is that when they are miss- they are really miss. Today I spent $65 on a full set of dips and a pedicure and the dips didn't even last 12 hours... they just started crumbling off of my nails (and they didn't look good to begin with) and they rushed my pedicure (I got about 4 minutes of soaking time and no cuticle care and had to ask for them to take care of the sides). Terrible pedicure. Painted Nails is a great name because that's all they do. They didn't even clean under the toenails and calluses are the same as when I came in. Could have done a better pedicure myself. Don't forget your cash because the credit card machine "isn't working". Better have an extra $5 to pay for the file you take home. read more

The lady that did my feet was super nice and very gentle! But when we made the appointment we asked what time worked best for them because there were three of us. The man said come in at noon so we did and there was only two people working there and one was working with another client so that means there was technically only one! I wanted to try a new nail place and I'm so glad I randomly picked this one! They took their time to make sure my nails were done right! I got a mani and a pedi both with gel polish! The price was affordable and my nails look really good! I'm pretty picky when it comes to having a clean nail look and without me even having to say anything they cleaned up my cuticles, nail beds all of it!
