The same simple and clean ingredients as their juices, they offer four flavors of frozen soft serve as well as healthy toppings. A small run will run you $5 $6 with up to 3 toppings which are more than worth. I went with the mixed berry as well as the chocolate and enjoyed the fruity one much more. My sister and I came here today for the first time and we absolutely loved it. Customer service: the staff was so friendly and they let us try all of their freeze flavors. They were so patient and answered our questions. Freeze: The texture of the freezes are light and refreshing, which was a nice surprise. All of the flavors (matcha, vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry) were tasty, but the one that stood out the most was strawberry. We ended up getting that in a Size 1 (standard small size); they have a Size 2 as well, but the Size 1 ended up being a good portion size. The toppings are extra, but both of our orders ended up only being 11.50, so it's well worth the money. My favorite topping is the cacao drizzle, it's so good. Laina described the Roots 1 as quote "disgusting" and then offered me a taste. Gee ... thanks! The Greens 1 wasn't much better, but not as vile as the first sample. The Citrus 1 and Coconut Cinnamon were Ok and I did like the texture of the coconut meat. Laina liked the Activated Charcoal enough to purchase a bottle. This isn't the briquettes you find in a grill, but an absorbing agent often used to pump stomachs. It absorbs all the toxins in your system and removes them. The best tasting bottle by far was the Strawberry, Apple and Lime (in my opinion). It was very balanced and you could taste all three fruits. All their juices come from farm fresh produce with no GMOs (genetically modified organisms). Rohlinism: A (Quality) + B (Quantity) = C (Price) The above is a simply formula determining the value of any purchase. If A + B is greater than C, you have found a good deal. If A + B is less than C, you are getting screwed over. I will admit this place is probably around the cheapest I have seen for pressed juice, but I find most places charge ridiculous amounts of money. The staff was friendly and we were giving 25 percent off our first purchase and they have a rewards program ($1.00 spent = 1 point) and 100 points gets you a free bottle. I enjoyed my juice enough to return in the future, but I doubt this will become a habit, it just isn't how I roll. Sure you might live longer than me by eating / drinking healthy, but do you really want to live to the point where your greatest accomplishment during the day is making it to the restroom on time? I've done juice cleanses before with Nekter and Ritual (now called Project Juice) but I had been wanting to try Pressed Juicery for awhile. They recently offered a deal and I decided to take advantage of the promotional opportunity and give them a shot. Pressed offers 3 cleanse options where the juices are already pre-determined, but you also have the option of picking your own juices. For the pre-set juice cleanses, it's basically beginner, intermediate and advanced. I decided to do a 3-day cleanse and because I've done juice cleanses before I opted to do 2 days of cleanse #2 (intermediate) with 1 day of cleanse #3 (advanced) in between to give myself some variety. The cleanses typically come with 2 additional bottles of water (aloe vera H2O + chlorophyll water) but these were not included with the special promo. Regular cleanses = 6 juices + 2 waters = $39.50. The promo I used = 6 juices + no waters = $29.50. Below are the various juices that I drank during the 3 days: *Citrus 1 (cucumber, pineapple, lemon, coconut water, aloe vera)(120 calories) - Not too sweet, not too sour. Refreshing but a mildly strange aftertaste...not sure if it's from the coconut water or aloe vera. *Citrus 2 (pineapple, apple, lemon, mint)(240 calories) - On the sweet side but loved the mint aftertaste. It would probably pair well with vodka! :) *Greens 1 (kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber, celery)(60 calories) - Being that it doesn't have any fruit, it's definitely "green" tasting with a slight bitter aftertaste. I've done juice cleanses before and don't mind green drinks therefore am ok with it but it's definitely not my favorite. Beginners may want to slowly build up to this concoction. *Greens 2 (kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber, celery, apple, lemon)(140 calories) - The addition of apple and lemon help sweeten up this green drink. A safe, neutral drink for juice drinkers of all levels. *Greens 3 (kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber, celery, apple, lemon, ginger)(140 calories) - Similar to Greens 2 but with ginger added. I love ginger and therefore I'm a fan of this one. *Roots 3 (beet, apple, lemon, ginger)(200 calories) - A bit too sweet and tart for my taste. *Vanilla Almond (almonds, dates, vanilla bean, salt)(420 calories) - Creamy and lightly sweet, anytime I do juice cleanses, the nut drinks are always my favorite! I think of it as a dessert to reward myself at the end of the day. The nut drinks in the other cleanses I've done before are better but this one wasn't bad. I have a big concern with Pressed and that's due to the uncertainty of how they monitor the freshness of the inventory on the floor. None of the bottles are stamped with a best-by-date. After noticing there were no dates, I asked the gal in the store if I'd be OK purchasing the 3-day cleanse all at once. She told me "yes" and that the juices are good for up to 3 days from date of purchase. Later at home I noticed the labels on the bottle also ask you to "enjoy within 3 days of purchase". But without dates on the bottle, how do they know how long the juices in the store have been sitting there and that they'll still be good for 3 days. What if the inventory hasn't been properly rotated? Well...on my day 3, 3rd bottle, I found black mold in the grooves of the lid. Pretty disgusting! I called the store and they told me to bring it in and exchange it. It was a bit of a hassle but I did exchange it later that day. I was a bit worried about drinking the remainder of the drinks but because the cleanse, even though it was discounted, was not cheap, I drank them anyway. Thinking back, I shouldn't have taken the risk and I should have asked that they give me a refund for my entire 3rd day. Food safety is no joke and I'm not sure they realize the seriousness and implications. With all the recent issues Chipotle has been facing, Pressed Juicery should really re-evaluate their operational practices before someone gets sick. The juices themselves were pretty good and if it weren't for the mold incident, I probably would've given them 4 stars. But due to the circumstances, I had to knock off 2 stars. I may go back to purchase single drinks, but I don't plan on doing anymore cleanses with them unless they start monitoring and stamping dates on their bottles. And I'll have to remember too to always open and check the drink while I'm still in the store. read more

I'm all about healthy and since I didn't have time to juice this morning and I was in the area, I decided to hit pressed up. I always walk by it when I'm at Irvine Spectrum but never had the chance to try it. The employees were nice and realized it was my first time there. They let you sample anything on the menu before you make a choice. I sampled the citrus 1 first and it was yummy! There was another customer in the store and she said the greens 2 was delish so I sampled that next. I enjoyed both of the juices I sampled but I decided to get the greens 2 because I love kale and haven't had all my greens for the day just yet. It is so yummy, fresh and just aca awesome! The juices are normally $6.50 or so which is definitely steep but I signed up for their rewards program and got 25% off for signing up. My juice came out to be 4 ish something so that's definitely a better price. You get a free juice on your birthday and I'm sure when your rewards stack up you can get something free. I've tried several different cold-pressed juice places but Pressed Juicery is by far my favorite. Why? Taste & Price! As I've said before, I'm a meataterian so I'm not a fan of veggies, so why eat my greens when I can drink them? The juices here (yes, even the greens ones) to me are so well-blended that I think of them more as a treat than as a toast to my wellness. My favorites: Greens 2, Roots 3, Citrus 2... and it's a tie between Vanilla Almond and Brazil Nut. Not sure what to try? Just ask! They are always willing to give you a sample of any of the juices so you can try before you buy. The blends are priced from $5.50 for coffees to $8 for the signatures. Other local cold-pressed juices will run you an upwards of $10-12 on average per bottle. This is a review for the Freeze. $4.95 without toppings/$5.95 with toppings. Disclaimer: This review will be a little bit biased because it is in comparison to the Newport location. First off, I'm SO GLAD they put the freeze in. When they originally opened at the Spectrum, I was extremely disappointed, and quite frankly upset, that the store was literally a room with a refrigerator in it. So I am ecstatic to have a freeze close to home. They have 4 options. They have the chocolate, vanilla, fruit, and greens. I literally love them all, but the Vanilla/Choc tend to have a chalky feel to it because of the almonds. The greens and fruit taste a bit different here than the Newp location. The green at the Spectrum PJ is lighter in color and more icy than Newp. All in all, it lacked the consistent flavor and texture of what I've tasted at other locations, so I am knocking one-star because I've had a better version. However, I give it four stars because the Freeze is still delicious and the location is much more convenient (for me). read more

Typically not into these types of frozen yogurt, ice cream, or what they call 'freezes' here only because they lack a lot of decadent flavors. I tried their customized 'chocolate covered strawberries' freeze ($6 for small) and the chocolate freeze itself tasted like oats or a nutrition bar (depending on your personal taste preference). The fresh strawberries & chocolate drizzle which hardened once put on top of the freeze was actually really good. My problem was the actual flavor of freeze itself but it wasn't TERRIBLE. Overall, this place was okay and if you love fresh and healthy tasting things such as this, you would highly enjoy it. There is ample amount of free parking - parking structure as well as parking lots available. I usually park by the Target, walk through the Target to get to Pressed Juicery - its less hassle in regards to finding parking and this way it is lot closer as well. Its a small little store, there is no seating option available; however, there are bunch of seats outside the store. Everyone that works here is super nice, very helpful and always smiling. Its kept pretty neat and organized as well. My usual go-to order is: Strawberry Freeze with three toppings [cacao drizzle, blueberries and shredded coconut]. I love how allll the ingredients are REAL ingredients with no added sugar, don't feel guilty getting a larger size at all. Its pretty reasonable price in regards to the proportion as well as the clean ingredients. I have tried their $20 combo which includes: 3 freeze or juices [Citrus 2 is my favorite juice] and 3 shots. Don't be mislead by the employee! I used to come here all the time for cleanses and freezes but things have changed. I ordered a freeze and before I asked for toppings I asked the server if it was included in the regular price of the freeze and she clearly said yes it was included. When I went to pay she never told me how much I owed nor did they machine say when it ran my card. After feeing uneasy I asked for a receipt since she didn't give me one and noticed she charged me extra. My husband confirmed that she said it was no extra charge for toppings. Pressed juicery is a healthier option than having frozen yogurt for example. Besides having their soft serve they have custom made juice for people that are on certain health or diet plans. Or even just wanting to detox. I've never really had a pressed soft serve before so it was my first time. I saw the list of specialty soft serve they had and decided to chose the Almond Butter Cookie without sea salt and instead add coconut to it. The small is about 5oz where as the large serving is 8oz. The regular size is what I picked since I didn't really know if I would have enjoyed it or not. After trying it out, it wasn't bad. Tasted like a slightly less sweet and less creamy Cookies and Cream frozen yogurt. There's no questions it's a healthy option for someone dieting and the quality of the items you're having here are much higher than most. Thus having to pay a higher price for the item. As mentioned in other reviews, all the juices are pre-bottled and come in plastic bottles, not glass, as you would find at some other health stores or juice places. They're only about $6 a bottle, which is reasonable since on average a pressed juice can be as much as $9+ in the LA area. If you don't drink out of plastic, I wouldn't suggest coming here, but I'd rather just have a recyclable bottle than have to worry about carrying something glass around or going back to the store again to get a bottle deposit refund. I tried two of the fruit mixes and both were good. If it's your birthday month, you get a free juice, even if it's your first visit. Located near the Nordstrom's in Irvine spectrum.... this little tiny store sells both juices AND the soft serve!! You can go in and just buy your 1 juice or your entire cleanse worth of juices all in store. They have different specials and deals all throughout the year, so when I went (Jan 3), they were doing $25 per day cleanse (so cheap!!). They also have a few seasonal drinks as well. When I went in.. they were (for a few days) out of the grapefruit mint juice, which was a bummer, but when I had called the day before she had warned me about that beforehand? I write to express the most dissatisfactory experience of all the times I've gone to PJ. Since I live in LA County and the freeze isn't available at all locations in that area, it's pretty typical of me to drive to the spectrum for the sole purpose of getting my freeze fix. I've been to many PJ locations, and the service at other locations have so far ranged from about average to superb (most of which are well-above average). I will have to say for $6 per size 1, it is pricey, but the quality and creativity behind the freeze is what customers are paying for. Cool. But it seems that the customer service at this location is particularly inconsistent and damn, some of these employees need to be retrained. So on Labor Day, my boyfriend and I came here to taste what the newly implemented freeze sundae combinations had to offer. This menu helps for those who would appreciate a clearer picture of which flavors mesh well together aka me. I asked our server, Chris, for a sample of their chocolate and strawberry together so I could taste what the flavors would be like. He abruptly and almost discourteously said something along the lines of, "Oh, we don't do that because they're in separate machines." Ok. In my mind, I wanted to tell him that he could've just at least OFFERED to give me 2 separate samples and try it out that way. But I was instantly repulsed by his attitude, I wasn't in the mood for any more samples, and just ordered my chocolate/strawberry side-by-side. My boyfriend ordered the vanilla and blueberry freeze sundae, which consists of the vanilla freeze, blueberries, and honey. He also asked for a SLIGHT drizzle of chocolate sauce on top, and Chris coldly told him, "That'll be $0.50 extra." This didn't make sense to me. The other 5-6 freeze sundae combos include 3 toppings each, but this vanilla/blueberry one only comes with 2 toppings, yet they charge the same price for one that includes 3. He just wanted a SMALL drizzle that should've at most counted as the 3rd topping. On top of that, the vanilla freeze alone failed to cover the circumference of the cup (see picture for reference). Smh what a rip. I advise to all you freeze fans out there to order a side-by-side just to give the illusion that you're actually getting the amount you're paying for. You know the server is doing an atrocious job when he/she is not even doing the bare minimum. Chris's approach was unacceptable, as he was lacking subtlety in showing that he really DGAF and was probably unhappy to be working on Labor Day. In the future, I hope to be served by someone else who deserves to work at a place where people are happy to serve customers by promoting only the best service. Anyone who gives less is just sabotaging the reputation that PJ is expected to uphold. -1 star for general service inconsistency -2 star for service incompetency -1 star for not providing alternatives/suggestions to customers 1.5 stars overall bc I know I'll be back but definitely depending on luck next time. read more

Came here with my girlfriend to purchase her juice cleanse. First of all, I don't know anything about juicing. The kind lady behind the counter gave me some info about the cleanse. She let me sample the juices to put in a custom day cleanse. I was literally amazed to see all the different kinds of juices they offered. Most juices were $6.50 and the signature blends were $8.50 I believe. The special waters were $2.50. My Girlfriend made 1 custom cleanse and cleanse number 3. She's totally experienced by the way ;) ahaha. As for me, I just got a bottle of their seasonal watermelon mint. Which was refreshing on a hott day. I also got the vanilla almond, it tasted like a good protein shake. Not going to lie, probably going to try a cleanse for a day! I came here to try the matcha freeze, and it did not disappoint. I didn't have high expectations and ended up really impressed with my dessert! I kept thanking my boyfriend for getting me something so delicious. The soft serve had great matcha flavor and even has greens like kale, spinach, cucumber, etc. I had it topped with almond butter, granola, and strawberries. It all went really well together. The bf said we should get this more often instead of indulging in ice cream, since it's healthier. I also sampled the strawberry almond freeze and thought it was pretty good. The freezes aren't creamy, which made them very refreshing and light. It is a bit pricey for what it is... but I like it so much that I wouldn't mind spending a little extra on it. read more

This is to call you guys out on reducing the size of the Freeze by about half. So for $5.50, I get about a 3/4 cup of freeze now. The value isn't there for such a tiny amount. When I went in over the weekend, they were prepared with pre-made servings to hand out to customers like me who spoke up. You could've fooled us by reducing the amount just a little bit! As far as juices go, they never taste very fresh or flavorful. The celery juice always tastes watered down to me. I've tried being a fan and I like their "ice cream" but there are just so many better juice places to try rather than this pre-bottled juice. read more

Any item you buy will cost you only $5! So I got a size 2 freeze with toppings, which would normally cost $7.50 for just $5!! So worth! Also, make sure to sample all of the freezes before you decide because I've found that depending on the day and the location, they'll taste different.
