I paid $8.75 for an iced matcha latte with oat milk and it tasted straight up like milk. I asked the barista if I could get more matcha, but was told it would have to be remade and would be an additional charge. I didn't have the time to wait for another remake, so I just left with a drink I wasn't happy with. On top of that, the wait was 17 minutes for a drink that ultimately didn't taste good. I haven't been here in a while, so I was really excited to come back, which made the experience even more disappointing. I honestly feel cheated, especially at $8.75. This place used to be my go-to and what I would've recommended for matcha without hesitation. Unfortunately, it's just not what it used to be.

It was so good that after my first sip, I turned around before even getting back to my car and bought a second smoothie--the Mint Chocolate Chip. A few days later, I came back again. That's how impressed I was. The contrast between the two locations was shocking. The Irvine team clearly knows how to make these smoothies consistently and with the right balance of ingredients.
