yay!! dirty soda!! i love all the flavor options they have here :) you can totally customize any drink to something you like! if it's too many options, they have 10 premade drinks you could try and order from. staff here is nice and prompt! they're quick and it was easy to order. i loved my sun bum and subbed the water for sprite for some bubbles. the baja fresh was flavorful and had a twist compared to the b regular baja blast

Orange Coast Soda, is located at the Irvine Spectrum a few doors down from 85C bakery and Target. Seems like a fairly new shop that offers different dirty sodas. It's a neat concept for fizzy drink lovers. We were on our way to get a drink elsewhere when my teens walked by and couldn't resist walking in. There is a fixed menu of drinks available on the left wall but you can modify and or make your own drinks too. By the time we were ready to order, the line had gotten pretty long but service was quick and friendly. There is very limited seating available but hey, you're at The Spectrum. Being outside and enjoying the shopping center is a must. We ordered the following: 1) JC's Special - 2/5 - for some reason it tasted very much like a coconut cream was added. We didn't know that it didn't taste how it was supposed to because we didn't try it right away. That's our bad. I honestly think we were given the wrong order. Someone else had a drink that looked exactly like ours at the same time, so there was likely a mixup. We walked to the car at the lot right by the shop before we took a sip which was only a few minutes. By the time I jumped into the car, the soda was flat. The bubblies weren't bubbling. The carbonation seemed weak and I've had dirty sodas before, so that was a bit odd. 2) Baja Fresh - 3/5 - this was a tastier beverage and much more refreshing. It also ended up going flat but not as quickly as the other one. If I had to pick between the two, I would do this one again. I was super disappointed in how quickly the drinks lost carbonation but I would try them one more time. I don't know if that was a fluke or what. It's difficult to tell if others experienced the same. The other reviews don't really say much. It's nice having a unique soda shop though. So we'll see if the next visit to The Spectrum takes me here again.

I got the Sprite base with peach syrup and it was pretty good. The sprite tastes kinda different though so I feel like they're using an off brand Sprite.

I believe this has recently opened up over the summer time. My curiosity brought me in to this place and I had to figure what the whole theme is. They mix and match sodas that we drink either every day, or from our childhood. Something many of us may have done at home like mixing energy drink with coke or something. Concept looked great to had to try it out. For me the second I saw White Monster, I had to get that. I had mixed that with Guava and Coconut Cream just to see what it would be like. The other drink I tried was Coke Zero, Mallow, and cream to give it like a cream soda like taste to it. They were both good and it was good having it on a hot day. Simple concepts can work and the place has a nice vibe to it but not something i would go out of my way to try therefore it stands as industry average with a 3 stars.

I think Orange Coast soda definitely needs to work out some kinks. I know that they are new upcoming business however it was very unorganized when I had visited. I waited over 25 minutes to get a soda, which seemed pretty frustrating. Also, there was so many different people grabbing other people drinks which I was assuming that's what pushed everything back, because they did not have a drink corresponding with somebody's name and they would just call out drinks. The experience was OK at most. The staff was not friendly when I had visited, but the concept itself is pretty cool. Maybe I'll give it another. Try the next time I swing back around to Irvine

Such a cool place ; and so many options to customize a soda. Service is pretty quick; they were out of the spilts cups which was a little sad but I'll come back forsure. I got Sun Bum drink which was pretty freaking the flavor was a little light.

A unique drink shop that has lots of customizable drinks, syrups, and creams. The drinks are good, nice and refreshing that add an upgraded flavor compared to regular soda. The interior is very clean and organized, and the staff are friendly.

The breakfast burrito was surprisingly good for a coffee shop. It seemed freshly made with fresh salsa. I was impressed by the flavor and quality. The coffee was good and I got it quickly. Service was speedy and friendly. I do think they could use some help. It was a pretty busy morning and I only saw 2 girls working but they were hustling and getting it done. There is minimal indoor seating and a good amount of outdoor seating right outside and all over the business center. The shop itself is super cute, modern and clean. A great location for people to grab a quick cup of coffee or breakfast.

One occasion is a pass, we get it; everyone has those days. But this reoccurrence of at least 3 encounters is unacceptable. Why was my drink in the back, already made, and I watched the staff make it and go on their break...? Just trying to be realistic here. Kiosks and online orders allow for efficient and fast service without the need for interaction. But there seems to be some issue with either the online system and orders, orders and staff, or a combination of all. Other coffee and drink places are able to efficiently do this, just wondering why there are always difficulties and rude attitudes/behaviors when customers have to ask the staff where their already-made drinks are.

It was noticeably less pink and vibrant than expected, and the flavor was so faint that it was almost tasteless. If that had been my first experience with the smoothie, I probably wouldn't have ordered it again. Based on that visit alone, I'd give it 2 stars at best. The Irvine location, however, was a completely different story. The Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie was rich, flavorful, fresh-tasting, and beautifully vibrant in color. It was so good that after my first sip, I turned around before even getting back to my car and bought a second smoothie--the Mint Chocolate Chip. A few days later, I came back again. That's how impressed I was. The contrast between the two locations was shocking. The Irvine team clearly knows how to make these smoothies consistently and with the right balance of ingredients. After my Long Beach experience, I honestly wouldn't dare order the Strawberry Shortcake again without modifications or asking extra questions about how it's prepared. But at Irvine, I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Same smoothie, same company, completely different experience.

I spent about $14 for an açai bowl their tropical mango bowl I believe. I had some modifications since I didn't like the raw coconut offering or the banana so I opted for sliced almonds and extra mango with almond butter on top. After waiting a few minutes, looking at the bowl, it didn't look like much and sadly it didn't taste like much either. The almond butter was globed on top and made it really difficult to eat. After bypassing the almond butter I was able to get into the açai which was way too sweet. I'm not sure what type of açai they use, but it did not taste like a freshly prepared açai it tasted more artificial and overly sweet. It may have also been sweet because of the honey I believe they put on top of it. The combination of the açai with the honey and then almond butter was way too sweet. The mango was OK not as firm as I would want it to be and the granola was at the bottom at the bowl and also sprinkled on top, but unfortunately it was the worst acai bowl I've ever had. Parking is free and they do offer a few seats inside. The staff was also really nice but unfortunately, if I do decide to come back maybe I'll try a smoothie instead.

There is just no way recipes are being used because the smoothies just never taste right. They are so expensive and they never taste correctly made. Ever.
