We stopped in for a very late lunch and they could not have been nicer to us. I loved that the dishes are smaller and a la carte so I could customize my dish. We had the spaghetti squash 2 chicken thighs, pesto and PK salad. It was all amazing and cooked to perfection. The pesto was over the top yummy and the spaghetti squash still slightly crunchy even though baked with marinara and melted cheese on top. It was the little extras that put it over the top like fresh basil on the squash and apple chips in the salad. Amazing amazing food. read more

Came to town from Az for a family reunion and wedding. Some of us girls found this place while shopping. The food is excellent the owners are awesome. Had to come back and bring the husbands. The liked it as well. The Brussel sprout dish was fantastic. They were roasted to perfection. The light wing sauce with blue cheese put it over the top. You need to finish off with the sticky toffee pudding. I would recommend sharing as I felt it was a little heavy for me but it was an awesome finish to an awesome meal. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this place! Really nice staff, great decor/vibe, and of course, delicious eats! We ordered the edamame with umami sauce, kale Caesar, mushroom soup, fries, and the burger. Everything was top-notch and I'd order them all a second time. The risotto sliders were perfect and the caprese salad had ripe heirloom tomatoes and a pesto and basil that was divine. Ok so I am one of the foodiest people you'd ever come across. I travel for hours just to eat great food. My good friends have been telling me about this place in Red Lodge for months now, so I had to try it out when I was visiting from Georgia, and let me tell you something. It was beyond superb. I even had to order more food just to satisfy my taste buds. We went for a late lunch, I first ordered the Bison Big Mac burger, my friends ordered the Flank steak and Rissoto sliders. I did eat my spectacular burger and had some of their food, then found myself running to the counter again to order Lamb Sliders which were as good. I think I enjoyed the food so much a tear ran through my cheeks from happiness - no seriously it was THAT GREAT.I also have to mention the hipster, trendy vibe of the place, the amazing atmosphere, and the great interior design. Woah stopped by for some burgers while I was in town for the evening and it was DELICIOUS. Not to mention they are LGBT friendly! I met the owner when I was finishing up my meal, and she was nothing but kind before and after finding out the woman I was sitting with was my girlfriend. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. We have eaten at Prerogative Kitchen three times and it just keeps getting better. The décor is outrageous! The wine "board" is so cool and easy to select from and we love the idea of ordering a variety of smaller dishes according to your appetite that evening. My favorite thing is Friday Belgian Mussels and fries but leave room for the creamy garlic broth in the casserole...it goes down like fine wine and warm the cockles of your heart. read more

I was swayed by the 5-Star reviews, but unfortunately they need to work on their execution. We were the only customers for lunch in a 30 minute span on a Saturday. We were not intrigued by the menu offerings, so we all ordered burgers. The burger was fine, the fries were divine and the ketchup was laced with anise (an overwhelming licorice flavor) that killed the whole plate. I'm from MT and live in a foodie city now, where I dine out regularly. I hope this concept pans out for the eager chefs. It might just be too expensive and complicated. read more

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G from start to finish. We are visiting from Charleston, SC. Gavin at the cash register was extremely helpful in deciding what foods and drinks to order. Our food was delicious and 100% worth the money. My girlfriend is vegetarian and she loved the risotto burgers. The pate is the best around. Great selection of local beer and wine. Amazing wine on tap! Totally unexpected delicious food on a road trip to yellowstone! Very good chicken thighs, cod, asparages, and best ever vanilla gelato! We added orders 3 times and everything is absolutely tasty! My husband and i are from California bay area. We have been to many michelin star restaurants in san francisco, and we can say with 100 percent confidence that this place offers better food than most 1 star restaurants and some 2 star restaurants. The service was as perfect as the food. we were very happy and left a 20 percent tips. The interior decorations are fancy and pleasant too. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who visiting yellowstone. Its worth a half day detour. We really wanna try their burger but its a pity that we were so full after tried almost all their small plates. If we have another chance to visit yellowstone, we will definitely come back to red lodge just for this restaurant. read more

By far the best place to eat in Red Lodge. Coming from someone that lives in New York City, this food would compete with any place in Manhattan. The portobello mushrooms were superb, perfectly cooked to let the ingredients themselves shine, and the shrimp scampi was as good a preparation of shrimp as I've ever had. If you don't get anything else, GET THE STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING. I'd be willing to bet that it's the best desert in the state of Montana. Excellent place, will be back many times. read more

Great small plate choices. Probably the best trout I have had anywhere. Nice selection of wines and beers. We were there on a Sundsy night and it was quite busy. Wait time between courses was perfect. Even though the two of us had a variety of dishes, prices were reasonable. We will definitely dine here again on our next visit to Red Lodge. read more
