Actually 'ZERO' Stars!. I requested an estimate on three services. Transmission, Oil Change and Limited-slip differential on Friday May 16th, 11:04 am. The person I spoke to was named 'Alex'. He never returned a total for my request! I attempted a third request yesterday at 10: 04 am. Still no response . As of today I would not recommend this business to any one especially Pasadena City College and California Technical University and Associates May 25th, 2025. read more

1st time customer of Premium Mechanics but spent decades with Gary's Auto Repair (the previous owner) -- for the first time in my life I misjudged my stopping distance and hit someone from behind. Took my whole front end of! I literally had the car towed to Premium Mechanics on Super Bowl Sunday, put the key in the compartment between the seats and went home. I called the next day, and asked "do you see that trashed Toyota outside" ? ...Anyway, Premium Mechanics just took it from there. What I thought was going to be completely unaffordable and extremely stressful, was actually the opposite and very reasonable. Not only do auto repair, but body and paint too. I need everything for the front end, the hood, the radiator, the AC etc. There even working with me on the couple hundred bucks that I still owe. I was one who was very to see Gary and D go - but if they had to go, I am glad it was replaced with Premium Mechanics. My first trip there was a big one, and they did not disappoint. My car battery had died. I got it jumped by someone else and went to this place after seeing the reviews. The owner was super nice, as was the mechanic. Sadly they did not have the battery needed for the car. So instead of trying to sell me on waiting to return tomorrow when they would order it in, they recommended me to go to the nearby Auto Zone! They didn't have to do that. So while I don't know exactly how good their work is, I will still return here to get work done as they have shown themselves to be a respectful business. read more

I have a 2006 model car so i've had to put up with a lot rudimentary issues over the last few years, and as a woman I hate taking my car anywhere. Everyone loves trying to up-sell services and parts and its clear they're just taking advantage. I mean, Jiffy lube tried to sell me a $100 oil change for a standard quality oil. But not Chris and Susanna! I'm so glad I found this place, everyone here is so kind, knowledgable, and honest! I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of and I've never waited longer than they've said. They're efficient too and get the job done. Awesome guy and does great work for half the cost of the dealer price!! Premium will be my new mechanic shop from now on! I would definitely recommend this shop. This shop made my mechanics nightmare permanently dissappear. The way I was taking care of by the owner was ecseptionall comforting and accomedating, but I was still not convinced until the job was done.
