First, I want to say thank you to Premier for being the best storage facility for my family while it lasted. We had our unit here for almost 9 years, and it was an amazing experience for most of that time. Unfortunately, ever since management changed, everything has gone downhill. There have been rodents and droppings everywhere, and it affected my belongings pretty badly. To make matters worse, I found out they haven't had on-site management for over 2 months. That's honestly ridiculous. People have had their units broken into, and there wasn't even an email sent out to notify customers. I had an appointment scheduled for 9:00 AM. I arrived at 9:06, and there was nobody there. At first I thought, "No worries, things happen for a reason." But then I found out there was no one there because they haven't had management for 2 months. This is exactly why so many people are moving out. I'm honestly devastated because I get attached to places, and this storage facility has been part of my life for almost 9 years. Unfortunately, I have to move my belongings elsewhere. I really hope Premier gets new management because I would love to come back someday. But for now, I can't recommend staying here. Thanks for the memories, Premier. Total rip-off. I gave them debit card # over the phone to pay for storage & within minutes my account was hacked. They kept repeating it & I had to close my bank account & replace the card. Also, when I tried to close the storage locker out on the 1st of the month, they made me pay for the entire month. Very expensive for the lousy service offered. STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY FROM THIS P!! If I could I would rate this place negative 1000 stars!! I trusted this place after reading positive reviews and stored all my belongings for r only a month and when I came to take my things I found them covered in mice droppings and urine and chewed on!! I tried to keep cool and handle this situation but after the District Manager called me and said the could not do anything to help me I am furious!! Places like this don't deserve to be in business because the do not care for their customers! They didn't even want to refund my months rent, it's ridiculous!!! Paid 158 a month to have everything in my storage ruined by rats and feces. Even found a mumified rat in my storage unit when emptied. I had to throw out all of my stuff including family heirlooms our kids memories. Im absolutely heartbroken. The 2 stars are for the front desk employees which were always kind and courteous so its nothing against the office employees, but whoever runs the facility needs to take care of the rat problem!!! I am very impressed with the women at the front desk. There was a young girl who I forgot to get her name but she was very helpful, kind and I have even seen her doing maintenance by sweeping out by the storage units. She kindly asked my husband not to smoke on the property which he shouldn't do anywhere and she remembered me after I had only popped in for a lock set. In order to tell you what happened to me at this self-storage I must give it at least one star but it deserves a negative 2000 stars the reason being is that my storage unit has been broken into and they have had 5 breakins on my Lane of storage units and they did not tell me about this when I put my stuff into my unit and after all of they breakins they still have not replaced their security cameras on my lane after I knew this I was very angry so I went off on them and told them I was going to leave this storage the next day I came they told me I had to leave and gave me 3 days to get out . Please keep in mind i am a single mother who has is trying to move into a new house and has this unit filled with all my stuff and they expect me to move in 3 days this is ridiculous and unfair so please if you chose to put your stuff in this storage know what you are getting into read more

Excellent storage unit, we needed one urgently and got one very fast, easy sign-up and pleasant front-desk help. The drive to our unit is easy with gates opening and closing properly. Stay away from these folks. I cancelled my storage unit in writing per the terms of the lease on the day I moved out. I just found out that they continued to charge my card. They confirmed that I did indeed cancel my unit and agreed to reverse the most recent charge...great! What about the month prior when they charged me also? Their error but I don't get my money back. The team said there was no way they could refund my money. No one there is authorized to give me my money back. Bad business. read more

I would like to say i am moving out of this storage by end of the month thankfully. However i went in today and the same gal that helped us last time was present and reminded me this time that sales are final i understood i said and thank you for saying something. All i thought was good until she decided to comment on how i made a big thing about it last time about them not telling me and i might comment she had a snotty voice and treated me like crap this time. I said look i dont apreciate being treated like this just because you didnt like my review last time, she continued to comment and rant so i told her my opinion anyone in managment or sales should be able to handle alot going on around them. As i know for working in sales before and if a mistake is made the manager should make some acomidation. She continued her ranting and at that point i have had enough i was so upset by this visit i carried the box heavy paper out which being high risk pregnancy i shouldnt have but i wanted out of there and her ranting and snotty attiude. I came in there with a smile and happy demenor and laughing nature even after last time and was rewarded by attitude and complete disrespect as they didnt like my review . I am not typically one to write reviews but I feel that I do not have a choice but to tell my story. I had a unit with Premier Self Storage for a little over a year but now everything that I owned of sentimental value is gone. My deceased father, grandparents items, EVERYTHING!! I have a son who is a cancer survivor who had items in the unit that could never be replaced from the hospital. I was emailed on 10/02/2018 giving me a run down of all charges, late fees, cut lock fees etc. I was given dates and also was told in this email that this served as a 30 day notice and that more information on an auction date were to follow. NOTHING..... I decided I would reach out being that I had not heard anything. Well I was told that my items had "ENTERED THE AUCTION PROCESS'' and that it would be looked into if I wanted to buy my things back. Ok great! tell me what I need to do.... Well I heard nothing back until I reach out once again. It was then I was told that my items were sold on Oct 3, 2018 .... but I just got an email on Oct 2nd 2018, giving me a date to pay by and also a 30 day notice so how could my things be auctioned the next day? I am so hurt and I feel violated because I was led to believe that I had time when in actuality they never had any intention on honoring those dates and sold all of my things in less than 24 hours from the email. I am devastated and had I known I would have done everything in my power to get my things back who wants to argue with a property manager about their children's pictures and fathers remains? I fell on hard times due to a devastating loss and car accident and I feel like I have been taken advantage of. Although I am hurting I will take the proper steps to fight this situation. I have no problem acknowledging my short comings but as a business you can not give a customer documented dates and then not honor it. I was told continuously by Brandon the area manager that I was late...yes that has been established but where is my email that was to follow? Take responsibility please!!!! The attitude, yelling and rude comments were an extra touch that was not needed then to say he did more that he had too... lol Ok, so as a manager speaking to me, checking to see if my items were there and explaining why I was not properly notified is above and beyond your duties??? He then asked what sentimental items did I have in the unit I mentioned a few which he "miraculously found" well if my items were sold more than thirty days ago why are my things just hanging around he also asked if I had any suitcases.... uh yea actually I did! so this is very interesting because earlier in the conversation he stated several times he knew nothing of what was in the unit. He then stated that the email was automated, funny thing is it had all of my information which automated emails usually don't. I also wish I had checked yelp prior to renting but I didn't which I take responsibility for that but what I will not take responsibility for is Premier Self Storage not holding up their end after sending me clear documentation. I have already started a case with the BBB and reaching out for legal representation in this matter BEWARE IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING THAT YOU VALUE THAT CANNOT BE REPLACED PLEASE PLEASE THINK TWICE, MAYBE THREE TIMES BEFORE STORING YOUR ITEMS AT PREMIER SELF STORAGE I TRUSTED THEM AND I NO LONGER HAVE MY THINGS THEY WERE PROBABLY THROWN AWAY ON OCTOBER 3RD WHILE IM FOOLISHLY SITTING AROUND THINKING I COULD TRUST WHAT THEY SENT TO ME.... We have had antiques in storage for a while as we settled an estate. There is rat poop everywhere, the lighting goes off every 5 minutes making it near impossible to move items around. the outside is kept clean but that is NOT the same for the inside. The staff is hard headed and when you explain that you do NOT want email after email and that correspondence needs to come in the mail they simply ignore you. We have had nothing but grief dealing with these people and this rat mess. Go anywhere else just not to Premier - If I could give them a minus 5 I would. Good luck! read more
