I haven't done much shopping here, but they do have several well-known stores, including Express, Bath & Body Works, Hollister, DSW, Spencer's, and Tillys. There are also a few good dining options, such as BJ's, CreAsian, and Black Angus. In the past, I found the shopping center to be pretty dull compared to some of the other malls and shopping areas I've visited around the Bay Area. However, since it was purchased by a new owner, I've noticed some improvements and renovations that have given the area a much-needed refresh. New additions like Handel's, Vine + Grain, and the upcoming Slice House are making the center feel more lively and promising. I think Streets of Brentwood has a lot of potential and will continue to improve over the next five years. One of my favorite features is the outdoor patio area. It's a nice place to take a stroll, spend time with family, and even bring your dog. Overall, Streets of Brentwood seems to be heading in a positive direction, and I'm looking forward to seeing how much it continues to grow and improve.

There was no much she could do aside from checking when the package arrived at our local branch. I received a call from Lori this morning where she informed me that the package was on site and would be delivered by our local carrier today. I'm still highly disappointed by the USPS gross delays, particularly the Fresno station, which tends to be the one that will hold a package without update for days. I'm impressed by Lori's follow through on behalf of the local Brentwood branch, however.

A pretty big two story library in downtown Brentwood, it's good a bit of everything you need for yourself or your family. There's the front desk with very friendly and helpful library staff, then there's some reference books and media to check out or use on site. First floor towards the inside also has a colorful and (obviously) kids friendly children's section. Upstairs there's several study rooms with large windows that look over the first floor so they're like rooms with a view, pretty cool. There's also tons of books stacks, tables and chairs for reading and studying, and some comfortable lounging sofas too. Along one side there's a long skinny table for sitting and working and it overlooks the first floor like a balcony too, pretty cool design. Overall, this library is architecturally interesting and unique, and is well laid out and a great asset for this community.

As other libraries, this branch also offer self-checkouts and easy drop offs. They they also offer automatic extension for borrowed items and you can also put books on hold if you are waiting on a specific one. I also had a privilege of using one of the conference rooms with other mom friends to help our kids with their homework. Parking is ample and is located in downtown Brentwood, so you can also shop, eat, play and walk around after. If you also want to support the library, one way is to check out their second hand books on the second floor or donate books as well.

That really upset me as I thought they would be moving it right away when they told us to leave it there. By the time we had returned to the hotel it had been moved but it was still very inconsiderate. I found it annoying that they did not take cash when wanted to pick up our vehicle but they made sure to tell us it was fine to TIP in cash. Then we got charged a convenience fee of $2.50? A convenience fee is an extra charge added to a transaction when you pay using an alternative, non-standard method to cash. It compensates the business for the cost of processing the payment but you do not give the option to pay in cash and yet still charge the fee. Make it make sense. Also, our dashcam was unplugged. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt on that one and say maybe that was done because they were worried it wouldn't turn off and didn't want our battery to die, instead of my default assumption that they didn't want us to have proof of whatever happened to our car in their custody. I honestly don't know. I didn't notice anything missing or see any new scratches so I guess it could have been worse. Still, I would never park in front of a driveway and things like that make me never want to use valet.
