We got a 10 x 30 because we knew we'd end up putting more in as we moved into our trailer. There are gates to get in and out, of the storage area, that require a personal code that helps keep everything safe. The only complaint I have is their payment system sometimes messes up. We signed up for auto payments every month and it doesn't always come out or it might be the wrong amount (without our military discount). Whenever this happens, we call and they fix it right away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommended this place for all your storage needs.

The facility is truely spotless with all new and nice everything. They provided supplies to purchase such as a lock and packing materials. The storage unit was immaculent. Their keypad gate access system provides easy and secure access to the facility and requires both punch in and punch out to disengage and reengage the security features on the storage unit. Disappointing experience and refusal to refund an avoidable fee…read more I had a very frustrating experience with this storage facility and would caution others to be careful before renting. Before completing my rental, I called and specifically explained that I needed to store a piece of glass measuring 8 ft. × 8 ft. I asked about the dimensions of the entryway to make sure I could physically get the glass into the unit. The employee assured me that it would fit, and I relied on that information when proceeding with the online rental. I went to the facility expecting to access the unit, but no one was available to assist me. There was no note on the door, and my phone calls went unanswered. Because I needed the storage that day, I proceeded with the online paperwork in an attempt to gain access. When I arrived to be assigned the unit, I discovered that the entryway was not 8 feet wide and would not accommodate my needs. I had specifically asked about this before paying, which made the situation especially frustrating. I requested a refund, and the facility offered to return the rent and insurance charges but refused to refund the $29 administration fee. Even after explaining that I had relied on information provided by their employee, management maintained that the fee was nonrefundable. I understand that businesses have policies, but I don't believe customers should have to absorb fees when they make a purchase based on information provided by staff that turns out to be incorrect. The lack of assistance when I arrived only added to the frustration. What could have been a straightforward resolution has instead left me disappointed with the customer service and management's unwillingness to make an exception. My recommendation: Confirm every measurement in writing before renting and don't rely solely on verbal assurances. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this facility.

Lies lies and more liese. They dont even have a pest company coming to do service. I also know for a fact that they have been illegally selling storage units that don't pay the rent for 30 days. They will sell your stuff sooner than the law allows. These people need to be stopped. Avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other storage places to go to this place is a nightmare.

We didn't have a hard time getting a unit and renting one. We opted for the biggest unit and the unit was on the ground floor. We don't want the hassle of going up and down the elevator and staying on the ground floor is convenient. Getting access to the building is easy and requires you to have your access number at the gate. They also have us a discounted rate on our second month and the monthly rate is reasonable. We only rented the unit for a couple of months and the process was easy and we didn't encounter any setbacks or complications during our stay at their unit. Management was very helpful if you have any questions. My only issue is when you try to call their direct line, they always take you to their voicemail. He has a lot of 5-star reviews and we decided to call Ian -the owner and ask him for a quote for installing overhead racks. Ian has a lot of knowledge and experience in installing overhead racks. After measuring, he gave me several options on where and the size of racks I can install. After several considerations, I opted for a corner rack with two 4'x8' racks connected at the corner of the garage. He came on the scheduled installation date. He was very professional. He advised me that he has to replace one of the 4'x8' since it will be too long and will be in the way of the garage door railings. He did a good job and I was satisfied with his work and product. The overhead racks are sturdy and just about the right size. Since he installed a shorter rack, he lowered the price of the material installed. He's very honest and fair in his services. If you want to install overhead racks inside your garage, I highly recommend Summit Garage Storage. You'll be satisfied with his work and expertise.
