Hi Lilli and Herb! You guys have always been good to me Thank you!! Always kind and great staff!! Been storing there for over 20 years!! Hey!! I should be a part owner by now!! read more

Zero quality zero customer service worst experience of my life. Stay away from these money grubbing people and their rat infested property. The cockroaches and black widows along with the rats made it so unsafe to store my stuff . the rats chewed through our water hose the first day we moved in and the owners could care less and claim they are doing everything they can to eliminate the rat problem. Lies lies and more liese. They dont even have a pest company coming to do service. I also know for a fact that they have been illegally selling storage units that don't pay the rent for 30 days. They will sell your stuff sooner than the law allows. These people need to be stopped. Avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other storage places to go to this place is a nightmare. read more

Never use this scam company, they provide zero upkeep to any of thier units, they have a rodent and bug problem throughout a majority of their units and they will send you to collections after you have paid your bill and given a move out notice, This company should be shut down and the owners banned from possessing a buisness license. Total scam company and I will tell everyone I know to stay as far away from them as possible. Next I shall be contacting legal services to see what my options are to force this place to be condemned. read more

Terrible customer service did not provide information to pay bills online when signing up, no climate control in any units; insects were visibly crawling through the cracks at the ceiling of my unit. I provided a move-out notice months in advance, yet management disregarded my notice and continued to bill me for both monthly service and late penalties. Will never use their service again and will recommend anyone looking for a storage unit to stay as far away from this place as possible. read more

When moving my daughter out of her storage unit, the rat feces was all over her stuff. We had to wear gloves because they had urinated on everything, including her couch, and not only that they chewed up all wood piece furniture, picture frames, total nightmare of a place I highly recommend not using them because of their rodent infestation read more

I would give them zero stars and never informed us that they had rats ruined over $5000 worth of furniture never worth it. high prices find somewhere better because they don't tell you about the rats at all! Every storm that happens the storage unit is flooded with rats!! read more

They receive the award for worst customer service possible. As the months go on they continue to hike the monthly bill, and when you can no longer afford it, they make it hell when you get your stuff out like they are still entitled to your money. It hadn't even been 60 days and they already sent it to collections, which when I called them, they were very personal, holding grudges and things I had said, twisting my words from "I'm not able to pay you right now" to "I'm never going to pay you". My advice, besides this place being in the middle of nowhere, they are crude to their customers. When I was taking the unit over from a friend, I had to cancel my DMV appointment (for 1 PM in Concord) and I arrived at the unit at 8 am, I didn't leave until noon. My friend couldn't even get a glass of water during 100 degree weather when we were packing stuff. They only care about their money and not about customer satisfaction. Do not use their units, they will raise the bill continuously and make it next to impossible to get out, on top of sending you to collections too quickly! read more

Has anyone experience any rats in their storage unit? If so, could you provide details please? Any information re: mice at this facility would be so appreciated. Thanks, Sara read more

We have used this storage for over 16 years and had no problems, issues or concerns at all. The owner Is really nice and on top of the activities happening in the area which made the place so safe. I highly recommend them. read more

Absolute trash. That's what run this place. We were on a waiting list for a unit, been on the list for over a month. Get a call this morning from them saying they have a unit available. We agreed and they gave us until 430 pm to show up to get the unit rented. We showed up two hours before to rent it only to find that they had sold the unit from under us. What the fuck. When we asked why they sold it from under us they said they never heard from me. Not true. They then proceeded to insult my mother in law saying that she must have had a senior moment. They are lucky they didn't have me down there removing what little teeth the crack head manager had left in his mouth. And the lady is not a gem either. She flat out refused to acknowledge the 20 minute conversation We had earlier, even when I showed call logs. We have a unit there already and will be pulling it out. I called another storage in town, explained what happened and found out, not surprisingly, this is a common thing they hear about diamond mine. The other storage pro-rated my rent, discounted it to the rate I would have gotten, and the facility is 100% nicer. Do yourself a favor, if you have a storage unit here, get one somewhere else, if your thinking about getting one here, don't. Worst people ever. read more

Just saw someone else moved out and left their door up. Completely different building - they got the rodent problem also. Not sure why this is happening but renter should be careful what they store here. read more

Horrible! Stay away!!! We lost our key and needed the lock cut. They charged me $50 and cut the wrong lock! I was literally going through someone else's storage unit and then realized this wasn't my mother-in-laws belongings (she passed away a few years back). So... I called my wife, got the correct storage unit and the lock was cut. I mentioned to him that it was kind of crazy how I going through other people's stuff, he response = blank stare and shrugged his shoulders (this was the manager). The owners/managers were horrible the day we moved out. Very argumentative and aggressive, charged us more fees, told us that we better sweep up, etc.. I'm still in shock on how a business thinks they can still operate this way. read more

Excellent storage place and staff. Highly recommend this place. Make this your fist choice in selecting where to store your goods. Managers are thorough but very fair...honor your contract and respect the property/rules and you will have a wonderful experience. Very clean and absolutely no problems with break-ins.. read more

This place is a ripoff and they have no intent of trying to give good customer service this fee that fee , standard fee, bull!!!!!

Never experienced any friendly customers service here. Complained about me literally going to my unit to get and check on my things, seriously? I pay to keep my things so I should obviously have the right to check upon them. THEN HAD THE Audacity to go threw my unit and kick things around. They do not even deserve a 1 star. Extremely disappointed. WASTE of time and MONEY read more

Getting ready to move out of the area needed some boxes, moving supplies and a place to store some items. This place is affordable. Super Clean facility, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Seems pretty secure with security cameras throughout. I'd recommended this place to a friend. Overall good experience. read more

Had made arrangements to rent a unit yhrough the uhaul website when reserving a truck. Received a phone call a day later saying a unit would be available. After driving 350 miles and making a phone call to confirm the unit is ready, it wasn't. No apologies. Didn't have my name on their to do list but did eventually find my reservation. Too late. I cancelled and found a different facility. read more

Only giving a 1 because I have to. I have rented with this facility for over a year now. I had asked that I be put on the waiting list to get a smaller storage space as I didn't have as much stuff anymore. I wait a month to finally get a call saying that there is a unit available. Cool I think. I'm not home so my mother tells them I want the unit and the person on the phone says that as long as I'm there by 4:30 it's mine. Well I get down there at 2:30 only to have them tell me that they sold the unit. I'm livid at this point. I tell them what my mother told me and that she never lies and the guy has the gumption to say that my mother must have had a senior moment! Talk about disrespectful! I immediately go to another place just across town and ask about a unit in the same size and they say they definitely have one available and only $10 more! Don't use this storage facility whatsoever. They do not care about their customers. All they want is your money. Bottom line. read more

Here's some reasons why I would not rent units at Diamond Mine Self Storage in Brentwood. 1. 30 Day Notice Required to move out. I ended up paying for an extra month because I must work and did not get out of the units according to the contract. 2. No Pro-Rated Extensions If you need an extra day or two to get all of your things out, they will charge you the full month instead of a per day fee. 3. No Deals Just about every self storage facility in the known world gives either a $1 for a month or some deal to use their storage. No Deals Here! 4. Customer Service is Poor When you give your 30 day notice, the attitude of the owner/manager changes very noticeably. When you ask them if they can be reasonable and help you out, you are told that you have a contract and you are out by 5 p.m. the next day. 5. Major Inconvenience & Expense Personally, I have now had to take 2 days off from work to get 2 units all moved out at a very difficult time for scheduling this. Finally, I can only say that there are so many options for self storage in the Brentwood area that offer deals and treat their customers far better. This self storage needs to re-evaluate their business practices and get with the times. If not, they are just another mom & pop operation that are nickel and diming you. read more

This place is great it's safe. Its affordable and there trustworthy. It pretty unlikely that your stuff would ever get stolen, outta of this facility. I give em a 10 read more

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! EVER!!! You CAN'T EVEN GET AHOLD OF THE OWNERS!!! Waiting to hear back from the owners. The manager, (Herb) was extremely hostile today played games and made threats to my self and friends who were helping me with a unit! His wife and him seem to not be on the same page, and she tried to tell him to stop talking when he was being a verbal bully! The managers... not sure if it was him or his wife also broke into my unit without my permission and without following the rules of the contract. Cut the lock without my consent and without notifying me. Put a cheap lock on and tried to say it was because they were rescuing kittens. Looks like other doors in the same row were checked for kittens also and given the same cheap lock! That is one of many issues!! Now he is trying to suspend my entry when my account is current and paid in full for over 2 years almost 3 years!! He makes his own rules depending on his mood...I have caught him in multiple lies and when I asked for the owners info or number he said he wouldn't give it to me and that he makes the decision on what gets to the owner. ABSOLUTELY APPALLING AND EMBARRASSING! I feel like a victim! I plan to take legal action. Save yourself the hassle! He also referred to myself, a Latina, my friends, 2 Greek and one Asian as "you people". PEOPLE NEED TO BE AWARE OF WHATS GOING ON AT THIS FACILITY!!! He tries to charge you $15 to cut a lock of and $5 for a copy of your contract. Moved my business down the street to Storquest, a new amazing facility people!! Cheaper rates and honest people! read more

This place is a joke. The old ugly guy that manages this place is disgusting. He is aggressive and extremely rude. I only kept my unit for a month because I didn't want to have to deal with that sort of person. I use a different storage facility now where the people treat me normal. This guy has serious issues. Renters beware. I feel sorry for the lady who has to work with him. read more

We "offended" the manager of this place and he would not accept an apology. Instead, he went on a like a little tyrant and told us to move out and he would refund our money. His office staff is afraid of him. I asked her if she was OK with what he was doing and she would not look me in the eye. All she said was that he was the manager... and cringe. We moved out early the next a.m. but when I went for my refund he played a little game. He turned on a recorder for our conversation (without telling me. Isn't that illegal?) and tried to come across as meek and mild like he was the rational one. His little game was to say things like, "do you have that in writing?" "has your access code been disabled?" and "did I have a witness?". The bottom line? Don't trust him: not with your business or your things. read more

So today I received a phone call (on a Saturday) wondering when I would be officially releasing my space. Since they don't pro-rate, I told them I would be keeping custody until it expired. They did not like this, then proceeded to tell me "trash may end up in my unit" and that I would be responsible for a cleaning fee. (Extortion) Even though they advertise that there is a security alarm on each unit. It wasn't until I told them I already took pictures of the unit after clearing it out, did they offer to secure the space with their own lock. Completely shady business practice, buyer beware. read more

Diamond Mine is hands down the best storage in town! The staff are always friendly and helpful combined with the grounds being kept in pristine condition. I have rented 3 units over the past 4-5 years and couldn't be happier. read more

I came here to drop off some things before I moved to another apartment. it was a little hard to get a hold of someone but they got the job done for me and it was a good experience. the prices weren't bad and I was able to move successfully with a rental truck. I will tell my friends about this place when they ask for suggestions for mini storages. The charges were okay and so was the locker. There weren't any groupon deals or apps for discounts so that was a bummer. the place was competitive with public storage but this place is closer to my house so it was a good experience overall. read more

We have been renting at Diamond Mine for 14 years. Have had very little interaction with the manager. Until today. Needed a great deal of help. Asked at the office and Herb came right over and spent at least 30 minutes with me. Great support and service. Thanks, Herb. Much appreciated. read more

I have had my possessions in more than six storage facilities during the past ten years. Diamond Mine storage far exceeded my expectations in service, cleanliness, and affordability and is the best I have ever found. The managers are nothing short of wonderful in their helpfulness with the various issues that can arise with moving and storing half of your life's "collectibles". After reading Becky's review, I realize that this personal attention is not unusual for them. It gets hot out there and the manager assisted me for a good hour or so when I was about to faint. He is also an excellent stacker and fulfilled the knight in shining armor role when it looked like my things would not fit in the space I rented. By some magic, he not only found room for everything but made sure that it was properly stored with mattresses flat, furniture covered, etc. I actually have extra room now. I do not know what possessed the writers of the negative reviews to comment. They must be talking about some other place or were rude themselves. You cannot please everybody but they certainly try at Diamond Mine Storage. read more

My husband and I were moving ourselves. We were lucky enough to find Diamond Mine Mini Storage. The managers are the best! We were moving on the hottest day of the year, and the manger came out and rescued us, sent us to the office to cool off, and he unloaded our u-haul by himself, and stacked things into the storage unit much better than we could have ever done! The managers are the best and I am amazed how clean this facility is! This is the best storage unit we have ever found and the managers are what make this place what it is! read more

This place rips you off!!Check late fee's.They are lot more than others by far.Rudeness is just everyday business there.I had my stuff there for quite awhile and when I moved it I found stuff missing, alot of things missing after inventory. While unpacking we found several rodent nest in my stuff.Check for yourself and go else where!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

We have stored our belongings here for 3 years prior to moving to another area. During that time we have never had a problem as mentioned in other reviews! The storage facility was always clean and maintained, the managers are professional and helpful, and the rates were the best we found for the area! I would recommend this facility to others in a heartbeat. Our belongings were definitely secure and the gate was never broken like we have dealt with other places. read more

Great place to store your belongings. The ladies are very friendly and professional. Super clean as well. Yes, this place has rules and they enforce them but they are simple rules and it keeps the place free from break-ins and so forth. Never any issues with gate entry or exit while I stored my stuff for several years there. The prices are the best in town and they don't raise their prices every other month like most places. Again, outstanding place to store your stuff. read more
