Premier Paradise Pools is definitely a 5 star pool designer and builder. He took on our modest pool build here in San Tan Valley and did a great job. His attention to detail and his desire to make his customers feel like they are the most important customer he has is top shelf. I know that they build some very high end pools in the valley for some very well known individuals but he treated our build and us as valued customers just the same. I'm sure they are not the cheapest in the valley, but they designed and built the pool/spa combo that worked perfectly for us. Their after build service is exceptional and we are very happy two years after completion. Great guy, great company and staff. Definitely 5 star. read more

In February of 2018, my wife and I decided to use Jeromey and his company based on video 3D model and his word which he shared would be exact to what we saw. We met multiple times before the project. After the project was completed, we've had nothing but problems every few months with the quality and rush job they did. We spend $30k+ on hardscapes and plants. On the blueprints, we were supposed to get a 10ft bbq area and we only have about 7ft. He offered to scrap the area and rebuild but it was already completed. Who wants to go through that after completion and weeks of construction. Everything he shared sounded like it would be of the utmost high quality, like metal trellis and a garden bed. He built our trellis and garden bed out of pallet wood which probably cost them nothing. The putting green was built with different (cheaper) turf than what we asked for at his showroom. Everything was just bait and a switch. If I had to guess, it cost me about 30k+ and his company maybe 10-12k. They put in a gas barbecue fire pit and said that everything would be done by the book including a permit. Well a few months later I find out there is no permit and it was not done by the book. This is crazy!! Unacceptable and unprofessional. I would never recommend them to anyone and will post this on all social media. Not once has he come in person besides the initial meetings. He leaves the dirty work to his managers Josh Ervin and Stephen Yoder. I've had to ask them to come out numerous times to fix or repair things that should've not had to been repaired if done correctly the first time. I'm once again trying to reach out to them for a dangerous hazard and now I don't get a response at all. read more

We were referred by a fellow ER physician to Jeromey Naugle premier paradise. I contacted him and he was great to get back to me. He came to our home and was punctual and very professional. He took measurements and spent a good amount of time hearing what we wanted for our backyard. We told him at that time we were having a hard time dealing with flaky pool companies and he said "I would never do that to you". He said he only takes on so many projects a year to focus on customer satisfaction. We did mention during that visit that we may not start our pool project until late this year but still wanted the design and estimate to see if we would want to move forward. He told us it would be about a week to get a design. We hadn't heard from him in over a month so I reached out via text and email.  He eventually let me know how busy it had been and said he would get a design in to us. He then reached out about two weeks later and said he was having difficulty with our design as our backyard has a water basin with a walkout basement. He said he was still working on it but would get us a design and estimate. We waited another 4 weeks and hadn't heard from him. I reached out and he never emailed back. From first point of contact until now it has been over 2 and a half months and we still don't have a design or estimate.  The pools he has done look great and we even went and saw a pool he had done by our neighborhood. We were really excited as his style matches ours.  I don't know if he is too busy or just didn't want our project. Either way he should have let us know that either our project was too complicated for him or that he was simply not interested or too busy to take on. But instead we are here two and a half months later still wondering if he made a design at all. The communication has not been good. He may just have too many projects. I would be weary contacting him as it may take months to get a design started. read more

Hey man, is your service side for your custom builds still in business? I sent you a few messages (2 last few weeks) about our pool light on the build you did for us going out and needing it replaced or what bulb to buy and haven't heard a response back at all from you or your guys.... Pool itself and the build I would say is 4-5 Star (with the exception of we built about 7 years ago when they didn't have any experience with the glass or venetian glass tiles and could only do pebble-tec and despite me really wanting it as our last pool had it, I could only select PT. Now years later I regret that decision and not finding a sub contractor to handle the surface, as it will end up costing me prolly 3x to swap it out now). Had a few issues with drop down hot tub needing to be replaced twice when it was flooded because the electricians never plugged in the motor, then when they did they used wrong size floater, but Jeremey was a man of his word and his insurance covered that actually. If I could get a reply on some lingering service issues (bulb out for 3rd time), I will gladly adjust back up to appropriate 4-5 star rating. read more

After 10 months of what was supposed to be a 12 week project we are almost complete with our backyard renovation. To be fair, they did an okay (not great, but definitely okay) job and it looks close to what was promised in the 3d rendering. Unfortunately, that's where the good comments cease. At the onset I was pretty thrilled with the owner and technology they were using to track the project. I gave them my deposit to get started and it took more than a month before they actually got to work. We were building a pool and standalone casita and chose Premier because they "could do anything" and we wanted the pool and casita fully integrated into the building process and to ensure we didn't cause problems between two contractors working in the same backyard. Unfortunately, our pool was pretty close to completed (except for hot concrete left all summer for the kiddos to burn their feet) but the casita wasn't even started. After a few months of runaround they hadn't even gotten the permits from the city yet! I had to remind them that a bathroom required plumbing (sewer and freshwater) which caused a whole new nightmare of delays. I ended up communicating more with their sub contractors than them who also shared they'd received little to no communication/direction from Jeromey and his team. To top it off, Jeromey, pulled the plug on their project management app which deleted our entire history of communication (luckily I saved it all) and left his project manager out to dry so many times it's not funny. Lack of communication and half truths made me feel like this was a bait and switch project. I don't understand how they can build large custom projects when what should have been a straightforward build took 10+ months (they're still outside fixing things). I am a small business owner and earned every cash dollar I spent on this project but I won't get any of my stress back from almost a year of pain and suffering. I've had an infant attempting to sleep right outside the project zone all year (he's 1 as of this month), we missed out on countless parties in the summer and fall because construction continued, I am constantly seeing contractors come/go without any warning...that's pretty scary for a woman with baby in our private backyard when strangers just keep appearing in the backyard. If you're looking for a custom pool company I'd recommend looking elsewhere...they'll get it done, it'll be okay quality, but it's going to take a loooong time and you're going to have to pull teeth to get them to communicate with you. read more

1 year ago they (Premier paradise) finished my pool. Between the pool, waterfall & surrounding tile, my wife & I spent over 170,000.00 dollars. Was originally promised to take 6-8 weeks. It took 7 months. I am not complaining about that in this form. After not even 1 year the waterfall only works once in a while (usually in-op when we have guests, unfortunately) & is major discolored. In some areas rather than brown, it is gray. I reached out to Jeromy & Josh. who did inspect & agreed isn't right. Said would contact to sub-contractor & get resolved. Today, I received an email from their Director or Operations (Stephen Yoder)-who I have never spoke to or heard of, who informed me now it is normal & now is blaming the pool service company. This is the same company that 1 month ago (Jeremy) came out to look at waterfall not working, praised how good the pool water looks & chemicals correct. I attempted to resolve with the company, but they refused & said go ahead and sue. read more

I am more than pleased with Jeromey and his entire staff. I purchased a backyard/sideyard and courtyard. Jeromey worked within my budget. We met several times to review the designs. It has been 3 years since the project has been completed. Any issues that I have had, Jeromey/Josh et al have been extremely responsive...I email Jeromey, Josh and the coordinator. I am going to use them for all my landscape needs. read more

The pool came out ok, but Jeromey cut corners on every aspect that he could to save money. If you're considering a new build, they have some unique design ideas, and use some decent materials, but they did cut corners on everything around the pool. Do not have them do your landscaping with the pool. That's where he cut the most, along with changes to the pergola (which was not at all what was promised). It is a business, and some of the people that work for Jeromey are good and responsive, but Jeromey is not involved once he makes the sale, and he considers himself done with the job. It took several months more than was estimated, and there were additional costs, despite him cutting corners on all that was promised (e.g. more than 25 plants were delivered as 5 gallon instead of 15 gallon sized plants as written in on the contract, and the pergola was supposed to be a slanted roof that could open and close. Neither of those things were delivered). So, if you go with them, I would just suggest that you ONLY have them work on the pool, and be prepared that they are not as detail oriented as they need to be in their plans.
