We were willing to pay that premium due to their high level of service on our complicated boiler (System 2000). Over the past 2 years we have noticed a significant decline in the service on this system. Our service manager did everything he could to try and get us a tech that the new system but his hands were tied. When our contract came due we did our homework and settled on a competitor that the oil burner manufacturer recommended for service. Their pricing was materially lower than Petro. Melissa, the loyalty specialist at Petro, was very patient with me as we explored other options. She did everything in her power to try and find a competitive price but it just couldn't work. When I told her we had decided to move on, I received another call from her boss trying to get us to stay. When I politely told this boss that we had decided to move on, she then got extremely rude and told me our service contract, that was close to 700 and renewed in December of 21, would not be pro-rated and returned. Not only that, they wouldn't come out any longer to service the boiler even though I had paid through the end of the year. While this may be somewhere buried in the fine print, you stand by your customers even if they decide to drift elsewhere in the short term while everyone navigates this high oil prices. This boss left a very sour taste in my mouth and I would highly recommend you look elsewhere when picking an oil company.

Last big snowstorm we had they were down one truck, but instead of just delivering what they could and going home for dinner, they stayed out all night. If you heat with oil, they can save you money. Their site usually shows their average price, which varies based on current wholesale pricing in Connecticut. I always do better than regular retail rates. You can still arrange with an oil provider to service your furnace just as you normally would. All the details are on their site or are available by calling them. There's a very low fee to sign up for the oil co-op and none right now for the new electric co-op. I just signed up for their new electric co-op service, which promises savings of five to 20 percent over "standard offer" electric rates. I got my first bill with the new provider and it was almost 17% lower than my bill from last month - and I even used an extra kilowatt hour of electricity this month. Again, it's very easy and there's no long term commitment or fee to switch. Your bill still comes from your regular electric company. Check these guys out!

Although they were always overpriced on product and services, I paid the price for the service and nearby location. In December I ordered an oil fill as i was down to 1/4 tank at which time I was told the soonest delivery would be on January 15th. As I had used 3/4 of a tank since Thanksgiving there was no way I would make it until the middle of January as we were in the middle of a cold snap below zero at night for weeks. I was told that they had many long term customers and to find an alternate source if I was concerned. I called Sisters Oil Company of Canton and they filled my tank the next business day at a price that was 67 cents per gallon below Klebe's price from my last fill. I have also heard from many other customers that Klebe's service has plunged since they were bought out by Sail Energy of which I was not aware. I would not recommend or ever use Klebe Oil again.
