I actually had another company come out before Daniels, and they had absolutely no idea what I was looking for. Daniels was the opposite. Keith was very knowledgeable about exactly what I wanted and was great with communications from start to finish. Tina was wonderful to work with. She took care of absolutely everything for me with the Energize Connecticut program -- I didn't have to do a thing. And Alana was extremely helpful with all of my propane questions and scheduling. Everyone I spoke to at Daniels, including all of the technicians who came to my house to do the installation, was very personable and knowledgeable. This is a great company, and I chose them because they've been around a long time -- 100 years this year -- and have excellent reviews. I'm very glad I went with Daniels. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again, and I'd recommend them to anyone taking on a big project like this.

When I call for a refill they are always friendly, and the deliveries are prompt. Recently we had them replace one of our HVAC compressors. Their estimate and replacement was incredibly quick, especially since we were in the heat of summer. The sales agent even came to the house a couple of times to manage the contract particulars. I would recommend them to anyone; their service is lightyears ahead of most companies. 5 stars in my book!

My home oil delivery service was transferred from Aiello, my home services provider, about 3 years…read moreago. Aiello is excellent, but no longer did home oil delivery. McCormick has been difficult to book for my rural area, they've in the past missed more than one delivery. But we have stuck with them because they were referred by Aiello. Until this week - I called for a delivery and McCormick's office agreed to come this week. After a week, they called me to say they were terminating my service! The reason: in January, I had a large (two tank) delivery, paid, no problem. But in February, McCormick added about 50 gallons - their mistake (it was meant for another local customer). They claimed they tried to call me, but there was no phone voice mail or record of their call. Plus, when I booked the potential delivery this week, they said nothing about my account. They waited a week before they told me they were not coming - thanks a lot! So, I actually got terminated from this company we've been using for 3 years because of their mistake! The owner told me that sometimes the Aiello-referred customers don't call him back, and I guess he doesn't need the referrals. I would have gladly paid for the 50 extra gallons - in fact, they have my payment method on file. Customer service is not a priority for them, so if that is important to you don't use McCormick & Bonner. They told me to call around for another supplier, so I'm currently looking - just glad it wasn't an urgent need. Ugh!

He couldn't fit me until 2 weeks later, 2 weeks ( so just about 4 weeks now not quite) the local guy calls me to tell me the tractor was in a fire, the engine swapped out and there is water in the engine oil.Not good so I called True who had several responses, I must have left it out in the rain, he doesn't know anything about it, it is an As is sale. He proceeded to send me a text and wanted to talk to my local guy.my local guy wants nothing to do with him feels he gives small engine repair guys a bad reputation. i wanted him to work with me but he just did want to be accountable and play the blame game.

They had it repaired and brought back to us in less than 48 hours and just before another snowstorm coming this weekend. After having them mow.our lawn for approximately 6 years..we just had a very bad experience with them. One guy came to mow (usually they send 2) he mowed half of it (took at least 10 breaks that we counted in a 3 hour period) and left (not completing the job). BTW he worked extremely slow, it looked deliberate as this never happened before. I called the office and spoke with the lawn MGR after he left my property, while the job was still incomplete. I figured out this deceptive business tactic used by them after speaking to the "lawn Mgr". She basically refused to have the mower come back and finish the job tomorrow-- they didnt have time for us she said and that they had other properties to work on. They also jacked up the price from $175./ last season (2024) to $325./ for this season ( that is an 85.71% increase! ). In a previous conversation i had with "The Lawn MGR" mentioned there would be an increase and I said "I understand and agreed to the increase". And they still had the mower come to my property and behave this way. She said she would have a "field mgr. come and evaluate the property. They had plans to increase the price more. At this point I was finished with Dutch and their deceptive business tactics and fired them. The Lawn Mgr would not give me the owners name (Bruce Dutch) so i could have a conversation with him regarding this matter. Service both on the office end and mowing end has drastically diminished. I feel terrible that our once reliable good neighbor and lawn carer has resorted to this manipulative business tactic. We will no longer recommend this company for lawn, oil, propane or their customer service! You lost a good customer and your GOOD name!!!!!
