Ours was a very brief experience with this company but a very good one we want to share. We have a riding mower whose tires have gone bad. Looking for replacements quickly to enable us to cut down seriously overgrown acreage, we went to the dealer from whom we bought the mower, Goff. They reluctantly located two tires and said it would be 2-3 days before they could repair and get them back to us. Crazy. We then went to Ruwest. They took a genuine interest in out little problem, and suggested we go to Toce Brothers down the street where, they said, they send all of their tire work. Their suggestion was excellent, we did so, and we got our new tires all set within an hour. Good folks, in our view. I contacted Ruwet Sibley to fix a Kubota tractor in early February, 2018. The business was able to pick the trailer up and deliver it to me after the repairs were completed, which was a factor in deciding where to have the repair work done. I don't have a trailer capable of transporting the tractor myself. I had bought the tractor through an ad on Craigslist. The tractor was old, but ran capably; it had an oil leak. This was the problem under consideration. After the tractor had been gone six weeks, and there had been no communication from Ruwet, I called them. They "thought" there were some parts on order which had not yet come in. Another week passed. Still no contact. I called again. This time I spoke to the service department, and was told that they had fixed the original oil leak, only to find that it was not the source of the problem; it was the valve cover gasket. They were having trouble pulling the tractor apart with their machine, he said, as it was so old. Another week went by. When I called this time, the same man advised that it was really a seal near the water pump which had been leaking. The next week, it was the water pump itself; and finally, the tractor was set to go ... except that there was no call saying it was ready. After nine weeks, it was the oil reservoir pan. They were going to epoxy it, but could not guarantee the repairs. It should be done the following Tuesday. At week ten, I called again. The epoxy had held; the tractor was almost back together, but they needed to tap some new bolts because the old ones no longer fit. It would be done that day. However, it did not return, and there was no call stating it was ready. I happened complain to a mechanically inclined friend about the tractor. He expressed outrage that the tractor had been in the shop for eleven weeks and was still not fixed. He offered to call the shop. He left a message and said he was waiting for a call back. I talked to Ruwet that same day and was advised that the bolts had been tapped, but there was a problem with the governor springs being stretched out. It might be done by Friday. This was Tuesday. After my friend left his message, the service department had a rapid change of heart. I got a call, saying the tractor was all done, ready to go and would be on the truck the next day. It was actually delivered that same day; the manager said he would contact me about the bill. He did. He said that there were over 20 hours of work done on the tractor, but that they would be giving me a break, and charging me for ten. The bill does not reflect the number of hours spent for each job. I was never contacted to authorize any of the service before it was undertaken. If they had not volunteered to give me a break on the labor, I would have refused to pay for the work which was never authorized. If this were an automobile repair business, they would have no business, and the Better Business Bureau would be pursuing them with German Shepherds. Subsequently, I learned that my friend had never actually spoken to the service manager. I assumed that his efforts had led to the tractor's return, but I was wrong. I should note for the record that I am female. My friend, a man, got an instant response and never even communicated any dissatisfaction. When I went in to pay the bill in person, the service manager, with whom I had been speaking weekly, addressed me as "dear," and expressed dismay that it had taken so long to get things done. I did not jack him up against the wall and tell him that I was not, and never would be his "dear," and that by the way, I am a litigation attorney. I wish I had. I try to avoid confrontation in private life, as I cannot escape it on the job. I would advise any tractor owner to stay away from this business. They are disingenuous, lazy and have distressingly lax practices. The delay in conducting the repairs likely would never have occurred if my tractor were owned by a man. If I ever tried to get away with taking eleven weeks to do something that allegedly took 20 hours (less than one full week's work), I would be on the breadline. Time is of the essence and deadlines run the world. Most upsetting was the obvious sexism. If it were possible to award zero stars, I would give them a zero. read more

Purchased a used tractor late summer, 2018, and needed some help getting it back in shape. Should have done more research because originally I chose a place nearby where my tractor sat for two months without any repairs and was constantly told to call back next week. Finally called Ruwet & Shibley who quickly picked up the tractor and entered it into their service shop. Within two days, they called with an estimate, the expected time it would take to complete the repair and options to consider beyond repairs. The job was completed within the specified time, the tractor delivered and I am delighted with the results! I could not be happier. Ruwet & Shibley were professional, attentive and their pricing was fair and accurate. I am considering purchasing additional tractor accessories and will defiantly contact R&S. I would highly recommend this company for their service and look forward to doing more business with them in the future. read more

Customer service was very poor. I had R&S install a new backhoe on my Kubota tractor and it took them 40 days to do it. I was told it was a 5-6 hour job. They said it was the Kubota factory's fault because they were sent a part that was missing from the sub frame kit 6 (six) times. R&S failed to keep me informed as to what the holdup was and each week that I called for an update they made it feel like I was bothering them. When they removed my three point hitch they put all the parts in the FEL which filled with rain water and then froze solid. When they finally delivered tractor back to my house, all the parts were frozen in a huge block of ice in the bucket. When I asked for some compensation they replied, "It's not our fault...take it up with Kubota" which I have since done. read more
