I found this place through Yelp search and am super glad I did!…read more I'm very happy with my brow wax/tint and Tara was a sweetheart. The space is cute, clean, and relaxing. Additionally I live out of state and am visiting family in the area so I won't be using their services regularly but Tara took notes on how I liked my brows done so when I come back in the future it'll be done to my preference! That was such a sweet and considerate thing to do.

I booked a Brow Magic appointment with Tara, and overall I was happy with the service and my brows. My only disappointment was the timing. My appointment was scheduled for 3:45, and I arrived about 10 minutes early. Since there isn't a receptionist, I checked myself in and waited. Around 3:47, Tara popped her head out and let me know she'd need about 7 more minutes, which was completely understandable. However, it ended up being closer to 15 minutes. Around 4, she came out with her previous client, checked her out, and booked her next appointment before bringing me back. I totally understand that appointments can run over, and things happen, but I felt like there wasn't much acknowledgment of the delay or consideration for my time. Thankfully, I didn't have anywhere else I needed to be, but if I had, it could have been frustrating. I think what stood out to me most is that if I had shown up 15 minutes late, I likely would have been charged a fee or asked to reschedule. I believe that same respect for clients' time should go both ways. With that being said, I probably won't be back. The space was beautiful and the shop was cute though.

She goes out of her way to accommodate a tight turnaround by working miracles. The other incredible thing about Amanda is that she's an absolute perfectionist and won't be happy unless the exact desired result is achieved. I once wasn't able to stay for the full brow appointment, not giving Amanda time to clean my brows up and she followed up with me and asked me to come in, free of charge, whenever best for me, just to finish the job perfectly. There is no one more experienced or knowledgable in the Valley, Amanda is elite.

I tried to brush it…read moreoff, knowing nothing can really be changed now, but I wanted to share my experience so others know to be careful when choosing who does their brows. I've been coming here for almost 3 years and have always left happy...until this past Friday between 10-10:30 AM. There was only one lady working, an older woman with glasses. She was very kind, but unfortunately, this was the most painful threading session I've ever had. It felt like far too much hair was removed, and when she finished, she applied aloe without asking (something the other ladies usually do after checking if the customer wants it). When she handed me the mirror, I noticed my brows looked a little uneven, but since I was rushing to a doctor's appointment, I paid and left. Later, in better lighting, I was shocked. My brows were extremely thin...something I've never experienced here. I've always had naturally fuller brows, even though they've thinned slightly with age, and I take pride in keeping them that way. I honestly wanted to cry. I eventually called to share my concerns, and while no manager or owner was available, the girl who answered was very sweet and understanding. I explained what happened and suggested that the threaders be reminded to always confirm exactly what the customer wants...especially when someone asks for a simple clean-up. I know brows grow back, but this has been really upsetting, especially with an event I have next weekend. This is definitely a learning experience for me, and I just want to encourage others to be specific with their requests and, if possible, stick to a threader you trust for consistency.

My friend also had her eyebrows threaded and liked how they looked when finished. I decided to also get cluster lash extension. They kept telling me I could only do short or med length. They were not perfect (bit uneven between the two eyes) but looked good enough for me not to be angry when I walked out. The staff was very friendly and the price extremely reasonable. The place itself could use new paint, seating, etc. The staff and owner were talking via walkie-talkie and cameras were everywhere. I DID GET AN EYE INFECTION right after visiting here though. I've had lash extensions done multiple times and my eyes never had any issues. That is why I'm giving it ONE STAR. A clean place and disinfected equipment is foundational when offering these services. Eyebrow Threading: 5 stars Eyelash ext: 1 star
