A few years later, I had another plumbing issue, only to discover that cast-iron pipes are still under my house -- meaning the work I paid for was not fully done. When I tried to address the issue: * Phone calls were ignored. * Emails went unanswered. * When I finally called from a different number and asked to speak to the owner, I was repeatedly given the runaround by the receptionist, probably the wife. Once she realized I was recording the call (for accuracy), she hung up on me. Now, they won't answer at all. This level of dishonesty, unresponsiveness, and avoidance is completely unprofessional. I'm escalating this matter to the Better Business Bureau and considering other options. If you're considering using this company, I strongly recommend you think twice. His plumber came and worked for several minutes and gave me an appraisal for several hundred (less than $500). Then he said he needed some parts that they had in the warehouse, and he would be back. The very next morning, he was supposed to come at 11 a.m., the time we had scheduled before while texting each other; of course, he never showed up. 4 hours later...... I still haven't heard anything from the plumbing company, but I have gotten a text from the owner about the amount of money (for traveling to my house). I would like to ask a community what that is............ Is it a common practice in Houston? Is this a taxi service?
