If I could give this place a negative number review I would!! I have no choice but to use this piece of crap of a company for my tv repair. My tv is under warranty through a directv protection plan. My tv stopped working and needed a new motherboard. My husband made an appointment at the end of Feb with the company, the repair man DAVE which is the only man that comes out in the Lemoore area is the worst ever. I got a call from him stating that he could not make my first appointment because his company over booked him! (Not my problem) well Dave told me he would just order my parts and make an appointment for me trough him which screwed me in the end because he never answered my calls to make that appointment. For my second appointment that I made through the company got rescheduled the same morning due to Dave going out of town. So then I called the company and talked to one of the managers and he said that I would have to reschedule for two weeks later. Now this is my third appointment that has been messed up by the repair man Dave. My appointment was from 8-12 and I get. A missed call from Dave saying that he was already at out front gate and needed an escort to get on base, which was only 10 min ago. Also I never got a call saying that he was on his way nor a call the day before giving me an estimated time that he would arrive at my home. So I am not happy with this company and especially the repair man DAVE! I will update this review because I'm sure my next appointment will be screwed up! read more

I have the protection plan offered through direct tv and my tv quit working so I called direct tv. They set me up with an appointment with Precision TV for Monday the 19th timed from 12-4. I even got two separate emails confirming my appointment. Monday came and no one called and no one showed up. Tuesday morning I called Precision tv myself and they found me in their system and then told me that "Direct tv just tells people they have appointments when they really don't to get you off of the phone, they do it to people all the time" then he gave me an appointment for tomorrow the 21st and told me I would be contacted after 5pm to give me a time frame. First of all why after 5pm? Second of all I didn't get a call until around 6:35 which is shady to me. The guy that called was named "Greg" and sounded very creepy and was extremely short with me then hung up without even saying goodbye. And third, I have ALWAYS had GREAT customer service from direct tv and do not think for a second that they just gave me an appointment to try to get me off of the phone with them. Precision TV dropped the ball and is trying to blame it on direct tv. The way this company operates is shady and their tv repair man sounded so creepy and short and rude. I would NOT recommend this company to ANYONE EVER! Possibly the worst people to come and fix your appliances. This company charged me $140 to "diagnose" my fridge and went on to say it was a sensor issue.... it was not. So they had to come back and diagnose my fridge again this time its the control board issue which they had to put in another order for except they "forgot" to do so. I did talk to your brother( VP?) and was able to voice my concerns. 2. The experience with the scheduling, the service arrival, the multiple phone calls, confusion over the billing, and horrendous customer service , is best described as walking through a field of thorn bushes for several weeks, and at the end, the issue was resolved, but left with many puncture marks, both temporary and permanent. 3. I had a great experience with Precision TV Repair. My SAMSUNG TV had an issue, so I called Precision becasue they were one of the Samsung certified repair shops in my area. I set up for their $ 39.99 "on-phone diagnostic". Before they (Precision TV Repair) was able to respond, I learned - via some research on the Internet and a call to Samsung - that my TV was one of many that Samsung made with a faulty power supply, and that Samsung was fixing them under a "special" warrenty. So, I called Presision TV back . . . . . The guy on the phone first apologized, saying, "the original person you talked to should have recognized the symptoms . . . we do a lot of these repairs for Samsung". He then reimbursed the $ 39.99 charge - before I could even mention it to him - and set up an appointment. The service guy showed up exactly when he said he would, did the repair in the 30 minutes he said it would take, and was a nice guy. So, I feel bad for all the people that have not have a good experience with Presision TV . . . I had a very different, positive and professional experience with them. read more

Awful communication ! I can't say enough about this. My fridge broke down 1 week before Xmas so I called to make sure this didn't slip through the cracks. I explained how important this was because we have 3 kids to feed daily and everything we eat is currently in coolers with ice. The my sent me 3 text messages that all said different things even after I called to make sure we had all our information dialed in. They had to order parts which took 7 days and somehow it arrived before Christmas and nobody called me or even text me about scheduling an appointment. I call the day after Christmas which is today and they flat out lied and said they called me to schedule and now have to wait until 1/3 to get it fixed. No communication and the text messages they send contradict what they are telling you. Complete BS and the customer service guy is rude. I called back to speak to a manager and they are both in sync with others BS. I finally told them to keep the damm compressor cause no way I can't wait any longer. I need to go buy another fridge. This company is under another name as well, Precision Services, appliance repair. My washer which is only 3 years old broke down so I called my extended warranty co. They sent my claim to the above repair co. This was May 27. It is now July 6 and it still isn't fixed. They came out, looked at it said he needed to order parts. That's fine. A week later I get a text part is in and sent a text link to pick the day and time. I go on the link and ALL appointments are filled till the next week. Booked an appointment. Guy came out put part in...it didn't work. He tells me he's going to order another part. Ok, this was on a Monday, the part wasn't ordered till Thursday. Got a text Monday or Tuesday that the part was in and to use the link again to book the appointment. No appointments till following week. SO, they came out still didn't work. Ordered an other part, coming tomorrow 7/7. Been over a month no working machine. I have never had such unacceptable service in my life. read more

Recently had my 70" LG go out and was only 7 days out side of the 90 day return policy at Costco. Jumped through more hoops with the Costco Warranty and LG tech support than one could imagine. Costco set me up with Precision Television and for what usually takes 48 hours to process, took all of about 12 hours after explaining to the representative about the dire-straits I was in. LG support couldn't have been more frustrating and ridiculous. Their Tier1 support is a robot in human form reading from a script. Practically useless, and to what I consider a "phone monkey". Paul, Precision Television Manager, personally advocated on the phone for me with LG on the line, and still got no where with Tier1. Paul ended up going out of his way to find a liaison at LG to get what I needed for a repair approval. Within a few hours he got approval and a Precision Tech showed up at my house 45 minutes later. They diagnosed the issue as a bad power supply/board not sending power to the panel. Called Costco Membership back and that's all they needed to hear was that it had been diagnosed by their approved repair shop and they waived the 90 return policy. Sincerest thanks and appreciation to Kaysie (Precision Television Rep), Kevin (onsite tech), and Paul for their utmost professionalism and work. Seriously. If it wasn't for them, I'd be driving down the freeway with the tailgate down sliding the TV of the back of my truck, because at that point, that's all it was worth since LG was no help. Working with Precision to get our LG refrigerator we bought from Costco has been an absolute joke. They are impossible to schedule with, which includes a phone tree to nowhere when the automated system calls to schedule. They have been out 4 times with the wrong part and have actually caused more damage to the fridge than existed before. This time, they made sure to wait until the end of the 4 hour service window they gave us to wait around for them to call us and and again say they had the wrong part. We have been trying to fix this fridge since OCTOBER. It is JANUARY. Calls to managers were not returned and there is no common decency, so here we are on Yelp! and every other source I can share my experience on. This experience is causing me to rethink buying these items at Costco... The Costco service does not carry through. read more

not a good experience. we tried the telephone estimate method, paid the $29 and was told to expect a call with estimate next day. 3 days later the call came but no estimate was possible, apparently because Visio's parts list was inadequate (although i can't figure out how the parts list was relevent since they didn't know what part they needed). Then I scheduled the prepaid $95 home visit and the telephone agent had to be reminded to credit me for the phone estimate charge. I told her the visit would need to early evening since i work an hour from home and she said that wouldn't be a problem. When the technician called he said they never do evening work and the latest they work is 5:30. I said I could make 5:30 but he said that wasn't possible. So I cancelled and asked for a refund. the only thing they did well was process the refund in a timely manner. It seems to me that their business model is 'get rich on estimates'. read more

So I bought a lemon of a Panasonic "Smart" TV back in Jan 2013. Six months later, problems where the TV would shut down after less than an hour of use, and then turn back on randomly (sometimes after 30 min, sometimes in the middle of the night) started to occur frequently. Fortunately, I purchased the Geek Squad "protection" plan they all love to offer in case shit goes down. Unfortunately they were unable to find or fix the problem the first go around. I moved out, started watching my roommates TV more often, and still had the same issues with my TV but didn't make a priority of it. Jan 2014, the LED panel failed and Geek Squad came to my house this time and repaired it no problem. December 2014...got a notice that my protection plan was up for renewal in Jan 2015. So I called to try and resolve the issue once and for all... Called Best Buy on Monday, December 15th and scheduled my in-home service; only instead of Geek Squad they notified me that a 3rd party, Precision TV, would be handling the repair. They told me I was scheduled for Wednesday, December 17th. They even gave me the option of windows between 8am-12pm or 12pm-5pm. I chose the latter and got a service order number for Precision TV. So I take the day off of work. And I wait...and I wait...and around 4pm decide to call Precision TV to see what the status was of my service order. The customer service agent answers the phone, asks my phone number and immediately confirms my name. I'm thinking to myself, "great she has me in her system, the repairman is probably late but at least I didn't take a day out of work and spend my whole day waiting in vain". And then she says, "looks like the soonest I can get someone out to you is Tuesday, December 23rd". WTF?! What do you mean? I have an order number and was told you'd be here today. And her response, "the soonest I can get someone out to you is Tuesday, December 23rd". Are you not listening? Is there any other reassurance you can give me? She says, "the date Best Buy gave you was just an estimate". They had 2 FULL DAYS to contact me to confirm. They obviously got the service request. So I was just in their system with no date?! I tell them I have to call them back. I call Best Buy. They say they have me for Wednesday, December 17th. Glad I wasn't losing my mind. They call Precision while I am still on the line and they said Precision tried to call me Tuesday to confirm a date. They never did. And if they did, they never left a message. They completely dropped the ball. And they don't really don't seem to give a flying fox about it. Probably because I'm not paying them directly. Whether you or your warranty protection plan are paying them for the service they should be better at what they do. If your warranty service says they are going to be using these guys, REQUEST SOMEONE ELSE! As a company, they obviously no longer have "the discipline and attention to detail" Robert Behrens bestowed upon the company when he founded it in the '50s. Their website says: EXTENDED WARRANTY REPAIR To initiate an Extended Warranty repair on your television, you must first call the store where you bought the Television to open a repair authorization. Once you speak with the store, inform them that you would like Precision Television to perform the repair, they will transmit your information to us via fax or email. It usually takes between 1 - 3 hours for Precision Television to receive authorization. We will contact you once authorization is received. I did exactly what was supposed to be done. And they couldn't hold up their end of the bargain. In the end, I got screwed. I could have gone to work. I don't get paid time off and time IS money. They wasted both. They WILL waste yours too. If only I could give -5 stars for Precision TV, I definitely would give it to them. Pls save yourself time and frustration. They're so eager to charge you $135 upfront for diagnosing your TV's problem but you better answer your doorbell ASAP or the tech will take off and leave his business card. Yes, my husband was home but couldn't get to the door since he was in the bathroom. Called the customer service if tech can come back but she said he's back in their Concord shop fixing in-house repairs. I was given a Monday appointment. Called Precision TV Monday morning and guess what?!? They were giving me another Monday (the following week) appointment. This is an updated review on Precision TV. I still give it a low rating because of the experience. I was contacted via YELP by the CIO once he learned of my less than stellar experience with customer service. He gave me his number and I gave him a call. He told me that he would issue my refund and that customer service should have granted that, based on my situation. He was very receptive to what my concerns were as a business practice and said that things should and are in the process of improving. I give Derrick 5 stars for the prompt response in correcting this issue and taking out the time to listen. Terrible service. Dishwasher repair needed. Technician came out promptly, ordered parts that took two weeks to arrive, then another week to schedule another visit. On the second visit, another part was ordered. That took over a month to arrive - a simple hose clamp. Because this was an extended warranty call, I was on the phone constantly trying to correct the situation. There was nothing I could do if I wanted my warranty to cover it. I was stuck with this company and this technician, and the part was lost somewhere and no one knew what the problem was. Eventually the right person was contacted and the part arrived. Another week to schedule the repair. The technician called to say he was hurt and couldn't come out. Another technician was scheduled for the next day. No show. They called to say they could not repair the dishwasher because mice had been under the dishwasher and left a mess, which I said I would clean up and disinfect if they would help me get the dishwasher out. Why did they wait over two months to refuse service? Finally I've been assigned to another company for repair. Still waiting three months later for the dishwasher to be fixed. I have been searching a TV repair shop for a few days. I have found only 4/5 and 3 are out of business. I yellped those I did find and only one had very good reviews. I then called one shop and gave me a quote of 135.00 to fix what I explained was needed. It's a very easy explanation to my TV's problem. It's the cable connector piece that you screw the cable cord into. It snapped off. So I found precision and read a lot of reviews some real good some real bad. Fee's to diagnose were never the same the taking down the TV from the wall was not allowed due to the workman's comp policies but reviews showed a few techs that did it. The staff in the office had good and bad reviews but, I found that the CEO Derrick had taken his business very seriously also his staff. He had stepped up to the plate and took the heat for all the problems the customers experienced and went above and beyond to apologize for his staff and would correct thing's. He reached out to respond to yelpers that gave a bad review's and asked if they contact him he'd correct all issues he responded to but would need more info. So, I'm going to give them a call (hope I'm not put on hold forever as I have read) I hope I'm treated and spoken to with proper customer service ( not spoken to rudely take my info needed and properly written down and put in it's right place for a call back and not be told they lost it or I never gave it or I gave wrong info couldn't get in touch with me) if I do use them I hope I'm not stood up with a no call no show tech comes without the right part tech is hrs late I'm called to reschedule and made to wait forever. I will not pay another amount then the one given to fix the TV no matter what they try to say that may be the reason they have to charge more. I am hoping to get great customer as I would be a first time user of this business. I'm trusting the great reviews and the fact it's close in my area and I see the CEO looks out for his customers. Trust and believe I am not one who will be spoken to crazy rude or any other way as the customer nor tolerate no call no shows not unless it was a real emergency that the tech couldn't make it but I'd expect a call from customer service (the shop) not just left hanging. I'd would expect to be scheduled within the next day or so not a week or more. Thank you for the yelpers reviews thank goodness for a yelp app it has helped in my decision. Had a power issue with our LG TV so called LG Customer Service and made an appointment. Too bad for us it was with these idiots. My wife took the day off of work for the scheduled 1 - 5 PM time frame. So Precision calls me on my cell phone asking if I had the sales receipt since it was under warranty. "No, but my wife does and she is waiting at home for you guys" I replied. Gave them the number and they called her to inform her that they needed to order the parts and would not make it out. Just to be clear, they had not been to the house to diagnose the TV yet so I'm assuming they have some sort of special talent no one else in the human race has! But that is the only talent they have. Zilch for customer service. Zilch for responsiblity. Zilch for common courtesy (they could have called days ago with their super skills!!). I read on their website that the company was founded by a retired Coast Guard member. Not sure if he is stil around but I'd be ashamed of how low the company has become. My TV went out a few nights ago so I called Precision Television to come and look at it. The tech was polite and on time. He told me the lamp was needed and that he could come back later that day to install it. He came back later and the TV was repaired. UPDATE: I received an email from the owner of this company, who apologized profusely for the mis-handling of my case. He explained that 2 years ago they were a 3-person family owned business that has just grown into 70+ employees and they are having some growing pains. He explained they recently got into the appliance repair after doing TV's for years and they are working out the kinks. He went so far as to send me a gift certificate to my favorite restaurant, which was above and beyond necessary, but really showed his sincerity! I honestly think next time I will give them another try, based on the owners' owning up to the mistakes and obviously caring about his customers. Recently we had to have our dryer repair under warenity thru Lowes. Lowes contacted this company to do the work. The Tech, for some reason took the exit water hose out of its drainage pipe and didn't put it back where it belonged. And he didn't reattach the dryer hose. It is also concerning that he had a problem with the Channel we had on our TV. Soooooo war this done on purpose? When I started a load of wash it flooded the whole room! read more

We had an appointment scheduled for Friday 8-12pm. I took a day off & Waited for service man. It it was 12:30pm, I call them & asked why they are not here yet. The guy told me he is not coming & he can make another appointment for me on next Wednesday or Thursday. I told him I took the entire day off & waited for him the entire morning and now he wants to schedule for another day. As a common courtesy, if u r not going to be there, at least let customers know ahead of time. I don't think I would want to lose another day waiting then come to find out service man will not be there again. I had a refurbished LG TV for about two years. When I was removing the wall mount, it slipped and lightly tapped the wall. When this happened the screen went all rainbow colored and two impact two marks appeared on screen. Even though I had hit it, I thought the problem was a result of the refurbishment more than it was a result of my actions so I decided to see if the warranty would cover it, knowing full well that it would be a long shot. It only took four business days between when I made an appointment and when the technician came. And although they confirmed my suspicion that my issue could not be resolved under warranty, the technician was very professional and courteous. I'm sure if it had been a more traditional warranty issue, that Precision would have handled it appropriately. Their technician was great, other service was fine. I'm only disappointed in Sears for selling me an overly-sensitive refurbished TV in the first place. read more

When my brand new Samsung 60-inch TV showed a single pixel stuck on bright green, I contacted Samsung, who set me up for repairs with this company. Precision asked me to choose any time within a four-hour range, and showed up exactly on time after phoning to insure I was ready. The repairman, Jaime, was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. My TV was fixed like new, at no charge to me. I am very pleased with both Precision TV and, of course, Samsung, for so rapidly honoring my warranty! read more

Robert knew exactly what was wrong with my tv and got it fixed on his 2nd visit. Unlike other repair guys rob was very polite and was even joking with my kids. This company puts customer service last. LG selected Precision Television to repair my 5 month old washing machine. When the repair man replaced the part, and it didn't work, he said he needed to order tow more parts. Two weeks later, the parts did not come in because they had not been correctly ordered. Two week later they could not repair the machine because they only ordered one of the parts. Two more week passed and that part was still not ordered. During this time two other repairmen were sent to look at the machine, but neither would touch it because the original repairman left wires unattached. I had a 1 year warranty on this $1,500 washing machine, but more that two months of the warranty, the machine could not be used because this company could not successfully order a part, and the repairman made sure no one else would touch the machine. This is the only review I have ever left on yelp. I'm extremely frustrated with this company. I bought a fridge from Best Buy and needed repairs done and Precision Services is doing the work through the warranty. First technician comes out and says it's needs certain repairs and it will take 1-2 weeks for parts. 2 and half weeks later I get an automated call setting up an appointment for repair. Wait all day and they no show. Call them and no apology or anything just a promise for a return call about what happened. No return call from them. Get an automated call rescheduling repairs for the fridge. Have to wait 3 more days. Well today a new service person shows up and says oh the other technician didn't know you needed these parts. I'll have to order them. It's gonna take another 2 weeks and another appointment. This will be my 4 th time waiting around in there 4 hour window which is a joke. This company doesn't seem competent and I would not use them for work. Maybe I'll update in 2 weeks if they actually fix it. At this point I highly doubt it. read more

I bought a Phillips LCD HDTV from Costco 7 months ago and it broke, didn't have any power. Going through all the troubleshooting with Costco and Phillips, they then decided that someone would have to come out and repair it using Precision TV. I was pleasantly surprised when they explained what part I would need, how long it would take to come in and how long after that I would get an appointment to fix the TV. It took about a week and a half for the part but the very day after it came in, Precision TV sent someone to fix it. Their customer service is awesome as I called pretty much every other day to check on the status. They were friendly and very professional. They get my business and referrals. read more

I had a fantastic experience with Precision TV . The support and service using their customer service on checking my ticket online were exceptional. The service technician knew the problem with my 47" LG lcd tv (this is after fighting with LG , and 3 repair attempts , and the worst customer service you can get outside the U.S. on their service line. ) . Precision TV identified the problem on the first visit within 15-30 minutes. Precision TV immediately contacted my warranty company to authorize order of part. when I called they advised when it was authorized and when the part was expected. I followed the status on the easy to understand website and called after approx 7 bus days. The rep. pulled up the ticket , advised their was a tracking number and she would check if it was in. She verified quickly that the part was in , and booked an appt within 2 days for the tech visit. The tech called on the day of visit to line up the time and he showed up as promised. The tech explained what he was doing while working on my tv. After he was finished he tested the results and I could not believe it. This was the first time since I owned the TV that it looked this good. No green screen, no traveling colored pixels moving across the screen.
