The freezer drawer of my Bosch refrigerator was gathering frost. I called Appliance 911 in the AM. A technician arrived the same day. Victor immediately spotted the problem, being able to fix the gasket issue in a matter of minutes. Definitely deserving of the 5 star rating! read more

Viktor was prompt and professional with the service call and he quickly diagnosed and repaired our clothes dryer. He left the work area very clean. Would not hesitate to call Appliance 911 again and if we need of another repair. read more

On a Saturday morning, I woke up to a broken Bosch dishwasher. I called Bosch, who couldn't do an appointment for nearly 2 weeks. I then called so many local appliance service guys -- all of whom don't do weekend work. Then I found Appliance 911. Not only did they call me back within seconds -- they send a technician that very afternoon. Viktor arrived promptly at 2pm (for our estimated 2-4pm window). He quickly diagnosed the problem, assessed the risks, and absolutely saved my dishwasher unit. All in the span of about 30 minutes. Viktor said he's a new technician but you would never know it. He was so professional, kind, and willing to comprehensively explain the situation and how he proposed to approach the fix. Great communication and service. Thank you! read more

Got E15 error on Bosch DW but couldn't determine the cause. I think the ownership has changed, and although I missed the lady that always answered so friendly and efficiently, a service call was scheduled the next day. I'm happy to report that once again the service was outstanding. Viktor quickly diagnosed the problem and explained the situation and the repair process in a friendly manner as he progressed, demonstrating that he clearly understands appliance repair. There were no surprises in the billing. read more

Viktor is amazing and very helpful. diagnosed my issue quickly and will return with parts to complete repair. very impressed, friendly and knowledgeable. read more

Today, Victor from Appliance 911 came to repair our broken Washing Machine door lock. He was pleasant, efficient, and very helpful in accomplishing the repair and testing the machine. I highly recommend Appliance 911 as a repair service for all appliances. Their reply to our query was immediate, they set up a repair appointment quickly, and the cost and service were excellent. I recommend them without reservation. read more

We've very much enjoyed working with Appliance 911. They were very prompt with responding to our initial contact, texted and called to confirm appointments, and did an excellent job diagnosing and fixing our GE fridge. Their price seemed reasonable. I would gladly recommend them to anyone in the area that needs help with major appliances. read more

Appliance 911 did a phenomenal job. Our icemaker was having trouble not dispensing ice. I called appliance 911 and they sent out their servicemen named Vicktor. He came by and did such a great job and was so honest about the issue . One thing we really appreciated was his attention to detail and constant communication on scheduling to replace the bad parts . With three boys in our house , having a working fridge is so important. I will continue to use Appliance 911 and definitely ask for Viktor to come and service your appliances. Have a blessed day Yelpers and thank you Appliance 911 for everything ! read more

Only good things to say here. Had a small problem with my washing machine. Victor came out, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. The best part is he didn't charge anything beyond the call out price to fix it. Some places will try to gouge you for even the simplest repair. Victor did not. Thanks Victor! read more

Viktor was able to come same day, which was incredibly helpful as we had a refrigerator that was no longer cooling and some food that was at risk of spoiling. He was incredibly cordial, professional, and knowledgeable. He was able to identify and fix the issue (a broken circulating fan) within 45 minutes. Would definitely recommend this company! read more

Viktor was very helpful and educational, even took time to explain the problem to me. Overall very friendly, helpful and is a fast worker. Highly recommend this business. read more

Victor, the technician, is very professional, knowledgeable, fair and friendly. The guy who made the appt. didn't know he didn't look at dryers, so he took that off the estimate. Then he saved my 25-year-old washing machine by replacing 2 broken shock absorbers for the front loader. I'd definitely call them again for future repairs. Punctual, and you get a confirmation call the day before an appt. Victor looked at my washer on Wed., found the parts for the aging machine and fixed it Monday, only five days. Thanks Victor!! read more

Great service our dishwasher needed service right before Thanksgiving- Victor came out next day and was amazing price was fair and communicated ahead of time. Highly recommend! read more

Thank you. Viktor was amazing and very quick and efficient at his job. I hired them to fix my dishwasher and dryer and they were able for the most part to diagnose the problem fast. I was surprised how fast he was! My dishwasher had another problem and so he came back a few days later and was able to figure it out right away. Thank you so much! Booking an appointment was easy too and they were very kind on the phone. read more

I've used Appliance 911 a few times, and each time they deliver a very solid service. Recently, my Frigidaire oven wasn't heating up properly so I scheduled a repair with my go-to company. Booking the appointment was straightforward, and they got to me quickly to confirm the convenient time. The technician arrived within the time window, was friendly, and knew what to do. He quickly identified the issue and explained what was wrong. The repair was done efficiently and now I can cook food in the over again. Overall Appliance 911 is dependsble, knowledgable, fast, and easy to work with - I definitely recommend them! read more

I am demanding and expect great service from anyone I work with. Appliance 911 delivers and gets 5 stars from me. They are responsive, professional, smart, and efficient. Their techs arrive when promised and hit the ground running. And their office manager / dispatcher is a great communicator. I'm thrilled to add Appliance 911 to my roster of trusted service providers. read more

The hood for my stove is 25 years old and the switch broke. It gets used every day. We called Appliance 911 and were assured it could be fixed. Igor came and assessed it. They ordered the part and in a few days he replaced the part and it is in fine working order. I am so relieved not to have to get a new one !! Their price was really half what I expected for such a thing. I recommend them highly and am grateful to have an appliance repair person. read more

Great service company. First time using them and will call them when I need help with appliance. My fridge on the fritz but was still working (can hear motor running and compressor was hot to touch). Temp in freezer yesterday was -11 and today -4, fridge 43 yesterday and 50 today. Not looking good! I have a GE Monogram and booked an online appointment with GE but didn't want to wait 6 more days -- life without fridge is a huge hassle and I didn't want to food to spoil. Tatyana on the phone and Vlad, service person - both were great! I called them on Friday after Thanksgiving and they were simply amazing. Vlad was available and came within in an hour of my call. After 5 minutes of looking at the fridge, he recommended working with GE and keeping the appointment. Totally appreciate his honesty and not dragging us along. read more

I had an issue with a dryer, it wasn't drying things so great. I called and was able to get an appointment for the next day, which I was very happy with. They were up-front with their fees, which I agreed to. I was told I'd be given a 30 minute heads-up before the repairman came out. This was very good for me, as I was out-and-about during the afternoon. Unfortunately, I missed that phone call (one of those times when I could've sworn my phone was on loud but when I finally look at it, it's on vibrate). I called back and thankfully was able to keep the appointment. When I got back to the house, Eugene was polite and courteous, even though I was late. He inspected everything quickly and thoroughly, explained what was up, and was very professional. He measured the temperature of the drum, he checked the airflow, he made sure the cycles were all working, and he made sure that the drum was spinning. Turns out, the unit is in pretty good shape! It may be that I was using the wrong cycle (this isolation thing has my head all screwy). I am happy with the service I received and won't hesitate to use them again. read more

No complaints about response time, I called and mentioned our issue with a dishwasher which was erroring and left my details and got a call back 10 mins later and someone came out to the property within 2hrs. The serviceman who showed up spent a couple minutes looking at the error code and said it would cost $270 to drain a blocked hose. The callout charge is $150 so I had no good options. He was here for less than 30mins. I'll never use this company again, an absolute ripoff but they know you don't have a choice; I wouldn't use a company with such a high callout charge going forward. Avoid. I'm not sure why Yelp is marking this review as 'value' and 'quality' that's nonsense; I said no for value and left quality blank because I have no idea if the blockage is completely clear yet. read more

We recently had a dishwasher problem and it was difficult to isolate if the problem was the DW or the electrical itself. Appliance 911 was here and we had issues for a minute, but Appliance 911 made everything right, as we tried to figure out the problem. Many thanks to Tatyana at Appliance 911. We will call you again!! read more

Tatyana and Vladimir, you have made this serious cook very happy. After over a month of misery with another company and an oven that was supposedly non-functional, I called Appliance 911. Tatanya was amazing: professional, a clear communicator, and really interested in helping me. By the next morning, Vladimir was at our door, ready to tackle problems on an old FiveStar range. There are no bells and whistles on this appliance, but it is a workhorse that I hope to have for another 20 years. He worked carefully and systematically, examining and testing all aspects of operation. His findings were demonstrated to me, so that there was no confusion about what did and did not work, and he fully explained what parts would repair the range to its normal working condition. I will be writing to the Brown Stove Company who still make FiveStar ranges the way that they were made a generation ago, recommending that they make Appliance 911 an authorized service company. Lord knows, the one that was on their list is beyond incompetent. Oh, and by the way, the oven was working just fine all this time! read more

Update: It took 2 and 1/2 months to receive the fan that was specified by the error code ($82 delivered). Working alone, (and very slowly & carefully since I've never seen the back of an oven before) I was able to install and clean up in one hour and 15 mins. After posting my first review, the business called me within 3 hours to offer my money back for the diagnostic if I would remove my poor review. I declined because I want yelp to have some integrity. I found this business on yelp and called because of the high star ratings. read more

Excellent, speedy service at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this business - you will not be disappointed!

Great Appliance Company and have known them for a few years. Tatyana always gets back to you quickly, and a easy company to work with. One of the best local companies in the area. read more

My refrigerator broke. I called Appliance 911. They came and then fixed it. A week later, the refrigerator broke again. They sent the same guy. He got it working. And then 4 days later it broke again. They then sent the same guy. He looked at it and did some stuff. He then told us it was fixed (even though it wasn't) and then quickly left. I called them again. Then they me that my refrigerator likely has severe damage... and I need to make another appointment with them. Appliance 911 is earnest but incompetent. My family went a month without a properly working refrigerator because of their continuous misdiagnoses. Even after a handful of visits, it's not clear if they understood the problem or that their job was to get the refrigerator working again. Edit- I'm perplexed that the owner denies servicing our refrigerator. I don't know if it's incompetence or intentional dishonesty. My wife spoke directly w/Tatyana. I'm looking right now at the invoices of hundreds of dollars that Appliance 911 charged us for our still broken refrigerator. As can be seen in Tatyana's response, Appliance 911 completely lacks accountability. read more

Our dishwasher's bottom rack stopped cleaning properly, and we requested a quote through yelp and were able to get a response within minutes. The quote was very reasonable. The business owner dispatched Eugene to take a look on the same day and let me know of the expected time range. Eugene called 30 minutes in advance to give me a heads up that he is on his way, and he arrived on time, took a thorough look, and ran test cycles on the dishwasher. After spending one hour investigating, we weren't able to get a certain answer of what's broken, but Eugene offered advice on the next steps. We weren't charged for the visit, to which I am very surprised and thankful given the amount of effort spent. So I'm here giving the business a positive review. The business is very easy to work with, and I will return when we have a future appliance issue. read more

I just had Appliance 911 fix our refrigerator. It couldn't have been a better experience. They answered their phone on a Saturday which somehow surprised me as it seems that most appliance repair businesses are closed on weekends. What was more amazing was that a technician was able to come to my house within 30 minutes! He was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to order a new 'older model part' to fix our dated refrigerator. I usually judge a service by their honesty, communication, prices, prompt replies, general reliability, and professionalism. Appliance 911 gets an A+ in every category!!! I highly recommend Appliance 911 for your repair needs! read more

At 10 o'clock this Sunday morning, I "Requested A Quote" from Appliance 911 for a leaking dishwasher. Two minutes later I got an email asking for my address and phone number. After giving that information I got a call explaining it would be a $75 fee or the service call which would be applied to any repair that I authorized. By 11 o'clock the tech arrived and after 15 minutes with some olive oil and a flashlight, he was able to diagnose the problem and propose a solution that I could easily handle. He explained the next step if this solution did not work, and said today's service call fee would be applied to that repair if necessary. We've run the dishwasher through three cycles and have no leaking. I had no expectation that we could get a tech out on a Sunday, certainly not without paying an "emergency" rate. They completely exceeded my expectations. This is a quality repair service and I would not hesitate recommending them. read more

We found Appliance 911 on Yelp and chose them based on their high ratings. I have to say, their high ratings were certainly warranted because we were very pleased with their service. Our washing machine malfunctioned and we called Appliance 911 on a Saturday morning. We left a message on their voicemail and they called us back quickly. The repairman came out that same day and assessed the problem fairly quickly (a broken water intake valve). He ordered the part and was able to install it only a short day later. It's been running beautifully for over a month now. The office staff was efficient and kept us informed throughout the process. Both staff & repairman were professional and courteous. Prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend Appliance 911 !! read more

These guys are the best! Incredibly professional and timely. We had a refrigerator with an annoying hum. Called Appliance 911 and got an in home appointment with a 2 hour window the next morning. Vlad came out at the beginning of the window and diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes. He pulled out a "Kelly Blue Book" type book for costs of appliance parts and costs for installation. He showed me how much it was for both and we ordered the part. I checked the price online later and he was right in line. Vlad replaced the part and even cleaned and repacked the freezer. Unfortunately we had a small issue a few days later but Vlad came out the next morning and fixed everything for free. 1 month later the refrigerator works better than ever. read more

6 stars! We have called Appliance 911 at least 4 times after the first time. The 16 yr old clothes washer control board finally died and after diagnosing the issue, the repairman showed me the parts book and said that the repair would cost a lot more than a new washer. They are *honest*. So we bought a new one, that cost half the price of what the repair would have been. Then our 14 yr old wine refrigerator wasn't cooling and they repaired it for a reasonable cost. Then the refrigerator in our rental home in Orinda was leaking and Appliance 911 fixed it. Each time, they respond within *minutes* and they came out within a day or the same day. But the best save was on 11/21/20. After calling our lame home warranty company on 10/26/20 (don't buy a home warranty plan; we are not renewing ours), they referred **another** appliance company to repair the oven in the Orinda rental home. It intermittently wasn't turning on. They came out 11/2 and the repairman said they had to return with a part. Long story short, after the 2nd visit two weeks later, the **OTHER** appliance company caused the oven to short the breaker, the microwave made the oven make popping noises, and the oven was heating even when turned off. I called the LAME company Friday 11/20 and they "couldn't" come out till 11/25, day before Thanksgiving because they have only one person who covers the entire East Bay. I called APPLIANCE 911 on Sat 11/21 and Tatyana consulted with a technician and warned me that this repair would probably be very expensive and to look into buying a new oven. The oven is a gas oven and the only residential gas ovens available these days cost $2500-4000 from specialty companies . I called Tatyana back (keep in mind **this is on the SATURDAY before Thanksgiving**) and she got Vlad out there in one hour and he repaired the oven for $462 - fixed all those electrical control issues. That's including the baseline diagnosis fee!!! APPLIANCE 911 SAVED OUR TENANTS' THANKSGIVING!! I waited a couple days to make sure the oven is working and it is. AND parts and labor are have a 90 day warranty. Do NOT hesitate to call APPLIANCE 911!!! read more

Our fridge was running too cold. Their tech came out, listened and developed a theory. He found the problem, showed it to me and fixed it quickly. He wrote up a receipt and was gone in 30 mins. The transaction was very professional. I would call this company again. read more

So having fun over here in COVID land! During the shelter in place order we had both the washer and dryer die on us! We've used Appliance 911 before and they didn't disappoint! They were immediately responsive to our call and with a day Alexander arrived to repair the washer. He took every precaution for distancing with a mask and gloves. He came precisely on time and called minutes before his arrival. He was knowledgeable, kind, skilled and had the replacement part with him. Pricing was excellent. So that I could have nervous breakdown the dryer went out 2 weeks later and I again called Tatyana. She was immediately responsive and Alexander arrived for round 2. This time he had to order the part, but they kept us informed and within a few days he was back to work his magic. I can't thank them or recommend them highly enough! read more

Had a problem with a dishwasher backing up. Filled out a form on Yelp, got a response from the owner in less than five minutes asking where my location was, made the appointment and had a technician here in less than twenty five minutes. Technician looked at several things that could wrong, fixed and tested a hose issue to the dishwasher and helped me understand how everything worked, how to diagnose different common issues, and have me pointers on how to avoid future issues. To say that this would be resolved in less than an hour from the time the request was made I would have thought would be impossible. Great service. Highly recommend. read more

This is my second review of Appliance 911. Our dacor oven stopped working and after checking everything I could, I had to call in the expert, namely Vlad. My condo that I bought has a beautiful custom kitchen with fancy pants appliances. Well I don't cook a lot so using the range for the first time in a while, I noticed the exhaust fan/overhead light wasn't working. Not usually a big deal since I don't cook that often but had a plan to cook another meal this week so thought it might be better to get it fixed. So I turned to yelp and found these guys. I must say they were very responsive and were super helpful in squeezing me in during the narrow time frames I was available. The tech was prompt and friendly. Turns out that it was a customization I was unfamiliar with and nothing was actually broken. So thankfully nothing needed to be repaired. But he was able to figure out how it worked. It only took him about 10-15 mins. I still was out the full service charge of $89 but I understand that's the cost of doing business. Also they're cash/check only so had to run to the ATM beforehand to have some cash on hand. Other than that they're a great business. read more
