We needed a new washing machine and instead of getting only a new washing machine we got the dryer as well. It was purchased from Ferrer's Appliances located in Concord. We bought them in November of 2025. Luis came out and installed the washer and dryer and took the old washer and dryer. We had a 2 month warranty. Everything was doing well until we moved out of the townhouse. The movers removed the washer and dryer from where it was located and the mess all on the wall and floor area was awful! The lint wasn't blowing outside through the trap but building up on the walls, hose that led outside and the floor. I took pictures of the area because I knew the property management will be charging me to clean up the area. I called Ferrer's Appliances and spoke to Luis and explained the situation. He told me there was nothing they could do and they were not going to pay for the charge I received based on their installation. I've attached a picture of the area! I'd highly recommend not using Ferrer's Appliances. We could have had a major fire because of the installation! I will be sending this to the Better Business Bureau as well! For starters Luis arrived early!! He had been called out for our dishwasher which had no power. I had checked the breaker and it looked like it was in the correct position. When Luis arrived that's the first thing he checked. But he flipped it off and on. The machine started just fine after that!! He checked the machine over and saw no other issues. I contacted Ferrer's via Yelp messaging on a Sunday and received a prompt reply the same day. Got appt scheduled for less than 48 hrs later. It was nice to get a text on my appt day letting me know when my tech was on their way. Luis thoroughly assessed my dryer and didn't find anything damaged that would explain my issue but since my dryer is still functioning well the plan is to just keep observing in case the problem comes back. He kindly replaced my cracked dryer vent with a new flexible one and put my dryer back into place. Despite my insistence he refused payment! Technical expertise, 30+ mins of labor and a new dryer vent...send me a bill and I will gladly pay it! Ferrer's Appliances is responsive, knowledgeable and ethical. We have used them a couple of times to fix dryers. Luis was terrific today in replacing our dryer rollers, and cleaning up the lint inside the dryer. I feel much safer for having those done. Our oven stopped working and within a short time I received a call back from Brittany. She was so nice and was able to get us an appointment the very next day for first thing in the morning. The time frame was 8-11am and the technician was at our home by 8:05. He was friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. He assessed and determined that our oven was NOT broken and kindly showed us and explained to us which breakers to reset for the oven. The fees were GENEROUSLY fair given our lack of understanding of basic electrical wiring lol and the time they spent coming out to our home. Our LG washer was unbalanced and moved perilously closer to our dryer. We are elderly and did not want to move the washer. Louis from Ferrer came over less than a day after we called Ferrer. He moved the washer, checked to see it was level and gave us tips on the proper settings for items that are heavy. This is the second time that I've called on Ferrer's Appliance and I continue to be impressed. Luis was the technician. This time, the spin cycle on our washer stopped working. He was able to quickly uncover the cause and we came to the conclusion that it may not be worth repairing due to its age of 8 years. He continued to discuss which brand of washers he thought were most reliable and explained that we should consider moving to a front-load due to the way it's designed and wasn't prone to overloading; which caused our current problem. The first time I used Ferrer's they didn't charge for the service call. I fully expected to pay this time, especially since we weren't making any repairs. He wouldn't take my money. I felt bad that I had called on this company twice and neither time they charged for their time. That's why I'm writing this review. We recently had our bathroom remodeled after the pipes in our wall sprung a leak. After the remodel, our Frigidaire Affinity washer stopped working, and would throw the PAU error shortly after starting any cycle. When I ran diagnostics, it gave the E11 error, related to water pressure. (But I also read online that sometimes the E11 error can be caused by a faulty door switch if there are no issues with the water line or valve.) Someone recommended I check out Sears' appliance repair, but they were full of one-star reviews and horror stories. One Sears review mentioned how fantastic Ferrer's is, and that everyone should work with them instead, so I called them. Ferrer's was able to squeeze me in for a quick visit the next day. They came over, threw on some shoe-cover booties to keep the floor clean, took the dryer off of the washer, and investigated. Turns out the bathroom contractors never turned the water lines for the washer back on when putting the washer back in. #facepalm. They were in and out in less than an hour. Very respectful, communicative, efficient, and kind. (They were also friendly with the more curious of my two cats, and made sure to pet him when he boldly approached them and demanded affectionate tribute.) I'll definitely call Ferrer's Appliances for any appliance needs I have. You should too! read more

My gas double oven had an issue with the timer flashing constantly due to a power surge. Tried all the normal reset things, but finally gave up and started my Yelp search. The first company said they could come out in 6 days. The 2nd company was on vacation (voicemail) and the 3rd had stopped taking new jobs and were going on vacation by week's end. Finally, I found Ferrer's Appliance. Ferrers could send a technician the next morning. Through all the reviews, I kept reading about this incredible technician named "Luis". Believe the hype, Luis is the real deal. He was on time, respectful of our home, and very professional. Luis diagnosed the faulty part, and when I told him I was able to replace the part myself, he politely looked up the replacement part number without hassle. These folks were referred to me via America Home Shield to repair my ice maker. They never contacted me initially after receiving the assignment then it took them 2 days to show up. The technician showed up and reviewed the freezer icemaker and told me that a part needed to be ordered to repair. This was on June 17th!! NEVER heard another word from them; I called and left 3 messages with NO RESPONSE at all. It doesn't take 3 weeks to repair anything and if it does you should be in another business. This lack of response for 3 weeks in absolutely unacceptable. I cannot speak on their workmanship, as i have someone else repairing my ice maker. I would NEVER RECOMMED based on this experience!!! My oven ignitor went out from age and so I came to yelp to try to find a reliable/reputable company to repair it and also not have to pay with the life of my first born child. After requesting quotes from 4 companies (at 930pm), Daniel with Ferrers was not only the first to respond (within 15 minutes) but very clear with his estimate and answered all of the questions I had. He was able to schedule the service for today (Wednesday, i first contacted them monday night). The technician was very polite and had a friendly demeanor. He was in and out within 20 minutes. asked them about repair for my washing machine, described symptoms. They said it was probably bad bearings or motor shot. Either way, cost for repair was likely close to cost to replace so they said they'd not accept the repair job. They did NOT make a point of offering to replace - simply turned down the business. However I saw on their web site that they did sell new and refurbished appliances. Because of their honesty in the initial consultation, I asked if they had a new unit they could sell me. I can't say enough good things about Ferrer's, but I'll just give a quick thought on their service. My washer broke down, a Whirlpool Cabrio HE, and needed a very specific part to fix...very specific...a terminal connector for the drain pump wiring. No one had the part in town, so I thought I'd try my luck calling Ferrer's. Britney answered the call, expressed empathy & concern for my situation and told me that they may have parts to help though she wasn't sure what they had available. She then offered to get me in touch with Luis, one of their repairmen, to see if he could help. Luis was PHENOMENAL. He was on a job, but called me regardless, to see if he could identify the part I needed. I described the part, and he asked me to text him a few images of what I needed. I obliged, and within a day (remember these guys are busy), Luis texted me that he found a part that would work and told me that I could pick it up whenever it was convenient.
