Due to operator error (me!) my dishwasher was on the blink twice over the past several years. He's was able to easily diagnose the problem and repair it. Both times, I was fully prepared for him to say that it was time to get a new appliance, since my dishwasher is close to 15 year old, but to my relief, Mike fixed it! It's so great to find an honest tradesperson who still does repairs! As an aside, my little rescue dog, who doesn't tend to like men in general, loves Mike! He wanted to sit on Mike while he was on the floor working. Dogs have good instincts about good people!

Works hard and gets the job done as quickly as possible. Great experience and definitely recommend that you call ATOM for your appliance repair needs.

I am embarrassingly late writing this review, but Omar and his team deserve an exceptional one. In…read morefact, I've since moved, and when my washing machine at my new place started having an issue, they were the first people I thought to call. My older front-loading washer had a major mechanical failure--the kind where the normal answer would almost certainly be, "Replace the machine." The problem was that replacing it was anything but normal. It was in a loft accessed by a spiral staircase, behind a half wall with very limited clearance and exposed fire sprinklers overhead. Getting the old machine out and a new one in would have been an ordeal. After assessing the situation, Omar actually advocated for taking on the repair. They ordered a new drum and all the necessary parts and essentially rebuilt the washer from the ground up, in place. It was a two-person, multi-hour job and an enormous amount of work. And they pulled it off. They could very reasonably have told me the repair wasn't practical and walked away. Instead, Omar understood the bind I was in, figured out how to make it work, and saved me from a much bigger logistical nightmare. Absolute miracle workers. This was service that went far beyond what I could reasonably have expected--and the fact that I'm calling them again for my next washing machine problem probably says it best.

The quote we got to repair the refrigerator, however, was more than twice as much as one that I got from a repair tech I found later who only works on SubZero refrigerators. All Brand also said it would be 2 weeks before they would be able to get the parts. I can't live without a refrigerator for 2 weeks and living out of a cooler wasn't an option.

We recently had an issue with our dishwasher. After reading a few reviews, I reached out to a…read morecouple of businesses. Mikhail at MC Appliance Repair replied the quickest and was able to come out the next day! After spending an over an hour trying to determine the issue with our dishwasher, he suspected that it might be an issue with the pump. He orders the pump, comes back in 3 days with the new pump, installs it and then determines that the issue was not the pump at all but was due to a leak from our main faucet that was causing the sensor on the dishwasher to think that it was leaking! After all of that, including the 2 visits, he wasn't going to charge us anything!!! I gave him some money because he deserved something for his time! But I couldn't believe that he wasn't going to charge my anything! In this day and age when everyone is trying to nickel and dime you to death and/or overcharge you for simply coming out to check on a problem, I found Mikhail to be a breath of fresh air! I subsequently hired him to fix a separate issue with our ice maker. And he of course fixed that quickly and at a reasonable rate! Would highly recommend!

You'll learn a few things in this review:…read more #1 - Never use the "self cleaning" feature on your oven. #2 - If you already did, and the excessive heat has blown out some small part hidden behind your oven, don't just assume you need a whole new oven. Everything is disposable these days but it's not yet time to replace your oven. #3 - Call Mikhail, owner of MC Appliance Repair. He can diagnose and fix your oven (and probably any other large appliance that isn't operating as it should). I have a double oven so one non-working oven wasn't a deal-breaker but I missed broiling salmon while roasting brussels sprouts. I priced double ovens and learned not only are they expensive, but there's so many different sizes that replacing what I've got likely also requires some costly carpentry work. It was easy to book an appointment with Mikhail. He arrived on time and readily diagnosed the problem. He stated a repair cost and said he could return as soon as he had the part (which was ordered that day). A couple days later he was back and my oven - both halves - are now working. And, he seconded the notion that one should never use the "self-cleaning" feature of an oven. MC Appliance Repair was neither cheap nor expensive but rather, far less than the cost of replacing my entire double oven. The cost of the visit is rolled into the overall estimate so, unless you fail to move forward with a repair, you're not being charged any additional amount. MC Appliance Repair operates in my neighborhood. The owner is smart, knowledgeable, timely, and gets things back to working as intended. Just knowing about Mikhail leave me feeling like my appliances - all of them - have a much longer shelf life than I'd otherwise assumed.

After taking forever to get on the GE repair schedule, the repairman came, took the entire dishwasher out (scratching the cabinetry around it), installed a new part, said it was running, and left... An hour later I started a load and water came gushing out all over the floor. Couldn't get back on the GE schedule for another 3 days and found Tomans in desperation. Mansur arrived first thing the next morning, easily discovered that the GE "expert" installed the part backwards. He fixed it (turns out, you don't need to pull the entire dishwasher out to replace the part...thanks again, GE), tested it, and also gave us guidance on some other pipes that weren't installed correctly by our contractor. Efficient, calm, and knowledgable. Wouldn't waste my time with anyone else again - straight to Mansur!
