Viktor showed up on the early side of the 3-5pm window and shot me a call and text when he was about 20 minutes away. He is super friendly and knowledgeable, as soon as he saw it was KitchenAid he said he was 90% sure it was a common issue but not serious one that he sees often in KA units and sure enough it was! He gave me some great tips on how to maintain the dishwasher as well and also suggested a couple of dishwashers to consider in the future. He then took a look at our fridge and gave me a couple of pointers on maintaining it, but also shared because it's a built-in replacing it will be $10-$15 for a new unit and suggested a couple of refurbish services they can do for much less but also said it's not needed yet. We called around 9:30 AM this morning and left a message, Mansur called us back within 10 minutes to set up an appointment and provide some details. He arrived by 11:45. Amazing! Vladimir did not want to work on the machine because he didn't want to use the crawl space due to his bad back. That is fine, totally understand. The problem though is that he pulled the machine out enough to apparently disconnect the vent which we didn't realize until the next dryer load we ran. When I called back to have Vladimir reconnect the vent that he disconnected, he refused and simply said 'this is not my problem'. This was a highly unprofessional response. Communication was poor among their staff. Fast forward after 24...48 + hrs with no ice working and a bill for payment for service not rendered and then informing "it's not under warranty". I had clearly emailed and texted the directions to 2 people in their office. I got text confirmation that I am covered and office confirmed they have gotten my email and we are good. Ice maker didn't even needed replacement and it's not even working still. When something is under warranty you get the part for free from the manufacture they got it from somewhere else instead ‍‍ Obviously warranty got denied. Called another repair technician who came looked at it and said the water filter or fill tube was clogged.....that is it. Not really Diamond Certified BUT I call them Un Certified.
