Two days later my washing machine went out and I now needed a repairman to see if it can be repaired? I remembered my friends recommendation so I looked him up and he promptly came out and assessed the problem. While cooking my dinner Saturday night, my oven threw an ERROR MESSAGE with error codes! It seemed very hot. Scary! The user manual was no help, but Google told me to find a repairman. Appliances Juarez topped the list with 500+ 5-star reviews. Submitted a Yelp "request for quote" that night, received a response Sunday, and Monday morning 9am, Juan Juarez was at my door! Amazing! He was very calm and eased my worries. Tested my oven, waited patiently as it takes time. My oven was fine, he said! Jaun was able to come over on very short notice to look at our leaking dishwasher. It turned out to be an easy fix. He explained what happened and showed me how to do it myself in the future. We also had another problem with the air-gap on the dishwasher. Again, he explained the problem while he did the quick fix. He's a personable guy. He shared some opinions regarding appliance brands, quality and reliability. His rate is reasonable. I'm not looking for rock bottom cheap. He doesn't take credit cards. We used Venmo. Not sure what else he takes. I'm giving him five stars. With that said, though, they weren't complicated repairs but I'll definitely call him again. read more

Juan Jaurez is amazing! Our dishwasher had been unable to drain properly. It took Juan less than 10 minutes to diagnose the problem (impeller pump), and, to our surprise, he even had a replacement pump in his truck. He installed it and our dishwasher problems were gone in less than an hour from his arrival. He's bilingual in English and Spanish. His English is so good that I assume he's American-born (NOTE: not intended to insult hard-working immigrants). He's highly intelligent and has a great personality. When he entered our house, he politely took his shoes off before walking on the carpet. Our washer and dryer are a stacked set and in a tight laundry closet space. He never once complained. I called Appliances Juarez because my freezer temperature was warming up fast. Someone showed up within the window of time specified and was able to quickly identify the problem. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and was patient enough to answer all my questions. Turns out the freezer had an insane amount of ice buildup behind the interior panel (not visible from the outside) and it was interfering with its ability to cool. It was $95 for the visit and $95 to disassemble the back panel inside and de-ice the entire system. It was worth every penny (There was A LOT OF ICE). Freeze works like new! 10/10 would recommend and will definitely call back for future repairs! read more
