Anton is a very nice person, but likely very busy. Our experience may not be typical, but I wanted to share it for others' reference. The initial inspection fee was reasonable since it was supposed to be applied toward the repair. However, after the inspection, we were only informed that the parts were difficult to source and received no further updates. We ultimately paid another company for a second inspection, and they located the parts the same day, ordered them, and completed the repair within two weeks. 110% recommendation for Anton and this company. Had an old dryer making screeching noises. Got quotes which made it worth replacing vs repairing until speaking to Anton. I explained the issue and what i thought the problem would be thanks to Google and You Tube. He said it did sound like the problem. His incredibly reasonable diagnosis fee made it a no brainer to have him come out. Made appointment but he called a day before letting me know he was sick and he would let me know would he would be available. Took a few days but he came by, confirmed the issue and replaced the parts, etc. quickly and efficiently. He also did some other clean up in the dryer since he had it all opened and told me everything else looked good. Dryer is now running great and it saved me both the cost and headache of a new dryer. I should also mention he took a look at my range and oven at no cost and gave me his honest feedback. Both are working now, but have issues from time to time. He told me due to the age, it would be hard to find the necessary parts if things started to get worse. He did mention some options but was honest about the probability of it being successful. I appreciated his honesty. As you can tell, I'm extremely happy with my experience. The cost was extremely reasonable. I also love to support local smaller businesses. Advanced Appliance has fixed several things in our kitchen, and we've been very impressed. We've found them to be fast, responsive, honest, and affordable. Unlike many other contractors, they don't charge just to diagnose the problem. We've worked with Nick and Anton. At one point, we had a tricky issue with our refrigerator, they replaced the motherboard, and it's been working great ever since. Then the handle on our microwave broke, and they installed a new one for us. This week, our dishwasher broke (we really haven't had the best luck with our kitchen!). Anton came out, ran some tests, and concluded that the motor would need to be replaced. He told us it would probably be a better value to just buy a new dishwasher. This is what I appreciate so much about Advanced Appliance! A less reputable business might have charged us a lot to repair something that was on its way out, but they were honest about the situation and even gave us a recommendation on what kind of dishwasher to buy. Our dishwasher stopped working and showed an E24 error code. He was upfront that most of the time it's just a clog, but also explained that if the pump was failing, it would need to be replaced.
