I would never choose this company for oil if I were you. They tell you one thing in person that needs to be done, but then lie on paper and say something different. We have had six guys here, all saying something different, causing a hassle of a mess. Then today, I spoke to Tammy; she was so rude! She didn't care that I had the tech conversation with me on our Ring cam that proves what I'm saying: "I get what you're saying, but it's not what he put on the paper!" I said, "So how come every time a tech comes out here, they lie about what they told me, seeing as it's happened each time?" Her reply was, "I don't know! I'll have to have a talk with them when they come in." I said, "Well, it's getting cold; we have barely any oil and don't want to put oil into the tank, seeing as he told me it would Contaminate it an not work properly! She didn't care, so I went, "Maybe I should have another company come out and look at the tank." She went, "You should, because we no longer want to work with you, and I'll let community action know. I'll email them." I said, "Okay, that's fine," then hung up! They are nothing but rude and never write down what they do on these service calls! I'd stay away! You guys are the worst oil company and so rude. Tammy is beyond rude and makes no sense. Seeing Tammy said it goes by what they wrote, not what they say in person, even though it's on my Ring camera. But we already found a new amazing oil company that doesn't play games and is honest and respectful, unlike your company. Tammy needs a new job, not to tell me she can't go off what I said, even though it happened in front of my Ring camera. None of your techs write accurate notes. So I will let everyone I know to never use your company unless they enjoy rude customer service where you get yelled at! So no need to reply to my updated review, seeing you wasted my family's time with all the lies and no respect! THEIR RESPONSE IS LIES. THEIR TECH LIES! THEY ARE A HORRIBLE COMPANY! THEY TREAT YOU WITH DISRESPECT! I'D REPORT THEM TO THE BBB IF I WERE YOU, OR TO THE STATE! I CAN LAUGH BECAUSE I NEVER MENTIONED COMMITTING FRAUD; I JUST WENT OFF A CONVO WITH THEIR TECH. BUT TAMMY HAS AN ATTITUDE AND WAS SO RUDE. SHE MESSAGES COMMUNITY ACTION TO TELL THEM YOU GUYS NO LONGER WANTED TO WORK WITH US. MATT CALLED TO ASK ME ABOUT IT YESTERDAY! I TOLD HIM HOW RUDE AND EVERYTHING TAMMY WAS TO ME! AND TOLD HIM WE FOUND A NEW COMPANY WHO DOESN'T LIE AND IS HONEST AND KEEPS TRACK OF NOTES! STAY AWAY FROM THEM. THE OWNER IS A JOKE WHO DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU AND WHAT HAPPENED. LIKE I SAID, RUN AWAY!

When it was time for the installation of the heaters, we had the privilege of being assigned Ryan, Nick and Pat for our home. These 3 young men were wonderful. I felt comfortable having them here, they did a FANTASTIC job with the heaters, the outside unit and the fuse box. I am thrilled with the way they all interacted with my family too. This is the company the you want to do work for you. Their skills and the value for their services are impressive. Thanks fellas!

He (jason) never took out a permit through the City of Worcester. I was notified by city inspector in December 2024. Additionally Jason(Alpine) charged me for four(4) mini-splits and I only recieved three(3) and one(1) condenser. Jason came to my home and I complained to him about mini-splits turn on in the off position. He(jason) stated he would put in a work request ASAP. I didnt here anything for a month until I posted a negative review with Mass-Save and BBB.Do not do business with this company! they are SHADY.

The technician who came out was professional and courteous, and the visit itself was straightforward. Later that same day, I received a phone call from a service manager and was told that the only way to close the permits was to replace the indirect water heater. I was told the tank itself would be around $8,000, with a total project cost around $10,000, and that this type of equipment could not be purchased directly by a homeowner in Massachusetts. That raised concerns, so I did some research and spoke with other plumbers. For context, my system uses a standard 45-gallon HTP indirect water heater, and comparable units are widely available for homeowners to purchase, typically in the $2,000-$3,000 range. I followed up in writing to confirm what I had been told, but instead of a direct clarification, I received a general explanation of flat-rate pricing that didn't address the specific points. In the end, I worked with another licensed plumber and was able to close the permits at a significantly lower cost. I understand that pricing can vary, but the lack of transparency and the inconsistency in what was communicated made this experience difficult to trust. I'd recommend asking very specific questions and verifying key details before proceeding, especially if you're under time pressure.

It was very hard to decide on a star rating. I don't like star rating to reflect price, but this…read morewas a bit of an unusual situation. My geothermal heat pump stopped working, and I had been told by someone else it was likely a bad capacitor. I could get a replacement for about $20 and install it myself, but if I wasn't careful, could get seriously hurt. So I called the experts. The good: they came quickly (within 2 hours of my voicemail to them), and the work that they did do was (from what I can tell) done well. The bad: it was massively expensive. $538 to replace a $20 40 uF capacitor, that did not fix my problem, and never actually got used. When they called me back, they told me it would be $170 to come out and determine the problem, plus the cost of the repair. OK, I said, figuring it would be a $50-$100 job above the $170 fee. The tech tested the capacitor, and it worked, but was out of specs. He replaced it with a universal capacitor (a $50-$100 part), which had the sole advantage that the tech could test different uF levels. I agreed to replacing that, since it part was out of spec and would need replacing anyways. It did not fix the problem. I was charged $368 for parts+labor for that (above the $170 fee to show up). That's about $250 labor for maybe 15 minutes of labor (he was here for about 45 minutes, but I'd guess about 30 minutes of that should have been covered by the $170 fee to show up and diagnose the problem). They did provide a quote to replace the compressor, but I ended up getting a geothermal company approved by the manufacturer to look at it. This other company had to replace the compressor (which was under warranty), and gave me a replacement 40 uF capacitor at no extra charge, so the fancy universal capacitor was never even got used. Ultimately, I paid over $500 to replace a $20 part, that did not fix my problem. If it had just been the $170 fee to "arrive at residential customers home and determine issue with system", that would be fair: I knew the exact price ahead of time. But an extra $368 above that to replace a $20 part that didn't even require replacement (but was about due for it)? Not cool.
