STAY FAR AWAY... This company is by far the worst Air Conditioning repair company in the state of California. The previous 5 Star reviews are completely wrong..! I will be sue I got this company and their destructive, anger and disrespectful service Technician NICK PEREZ. This disrespectful jackass had absolutely no clue what he was doing. He claimed, I had a broken valve to my heater...Wrong...! Furthermore making us wait two weeks, claiming they had to order a new valve and were just waiting for the valve to come in. The secretary would tell us to call the following day and the part would be there. This went on for two weeks. So the part finally arrived, nick showed back up, did not even install the new valve and just rebuilt the valve and guess what, that was not the problem. He made things worse by breaking the cooper water welds creating a more potential problem of flooding out my attic and entire home. He ran to his truck to crap a torch so he could fix the welds and did not even bring a fire extinguisher up. If you start welding and lighting a blow torch in a wood and extremely fire hazardous attic, you better have something to put out a fire. Nick departs pissed off and stated he would return that after noon to finish the job. This was on July 3rd. Nick calls us at 7:30 that evening and stated he could not figure it out and had to have his supervisor to come back out with him but this time it was going to cost me over $900.00.. After I told him how dissatisfied I was with him and asked him why did he make us wait two weeks, NICK PEREZ, started yelling at me, stating I was bullying him, he wanted to refund the $190.00 I already paid him and that he did not have too come back to my home and fix the problems. He further stated that is I was lucky that he did not make me wait another 4 weeks and the only reason he was returning "so fast" was because I kept calling the office. This kid is the biggest jackass I have ever had to deal with in my over 30 years working with 100s of AIR Conditioning and Heating Companies and other subcontractors. This Company is a low grade. They can only handle 10-30 minute jobs. I begged you all, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...This Company will be seeing me in court. You cannot treat consumers like this. Eddie Campos at Precision Heating and Air is great! HIs crew was fantastic. I had Eddie install a A/C unit in my home and everything went great! He came out before hand and gave me a bid that was extremely affordable. Normally you expect something to go wrong and then deal with a different price afterwards... NOPE. He did a great job checking everything before writing down a bid he can keep his word to. His crew was fantastic in that they worked swiftly and professionally. They started at 8am ( exactly when they said they would start) and got done by 4PM. I work all day and my wife and daughter stayed home. My wife said the crew was nice, respectful and professional. I have needed professional services in the past and they have all been good; however the work done by Precision Heating & Air was BY FAR the most professional and sincere job I have ever had done for me. I was glad to know they were fully licensed, bonded and insured as well. I does give complete peace of mind. I had a small wall heater installed by Precision in 2016. They were very professional & courteous on that visit. I needed a tune up/ check up on the unit this year & called for a service appt. The person who answered the phone was helpful & did as she promised when she said she would verify if an appt was available the same day. She called me back within 10 minutes & confirmed the appt for the same day. The service technicians were here when they said they would be. They were polite, and though in checking out my heater. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM! As a property manager, when I give my word to a tenant that an issue will be resolved by a certain time and it isn't, I've broken their trust. Period. Therefore, when a company I entrust to help me fulfill this promise fails to deliver, I get VERY annoyed. Unfortunately, this is one of those times. Every interaction I had after the initial scheduling lacked professionalism. Additionally, I had to follow up with them multiple times, and when I finally got the tech (Nicholas Perez) on the phone, he assured me that they would contact the tenant and resolve the issue with their A/C. Over a day later, and the tenant still has not been contacted, and given the current heatwave, to say they're not happy would be putting it mildly. I was having issues with my air conditioner. It wasn't cooling properly, and one night I had a lot of condensation that resulted on a leak in my rook from the system in the attic. I called Precision to come and review the issue and provide a solution. I was charged $129 for the visit, which would apply to any work they would do. The technician was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. He looked at my system for about 6-7 minutes and and discovered that I was low on refrigerant. His proposed next step: do a leak test at a cost of $1100. When I balked at the price and tried to understand the possibilities, I was told that at best, this would result in a simple fix that was included in the $1100 and at worst I would have to install a new system. The only alternative I was offered was to charge up to 3 pounds of refrigerant at a cost of $600, but he explained that I probably had a leak, so this would not really fix my problem. As you can imagine, after he left I started calling other companies for quotes and alternatives. Many wanted to come and check again (of course at additional cost). When I said I'm not paying for another visit, I was given quotes ranging from $450 (not available for 3 weeks) to "between $800 to $2500". This is only for a leak test that would not fix anything. I finally ran into a great guy that recommended I fixed the low refrigerant for $350 (about half as much as this company wanted), then he said he would add a sealant that would likely take care of any small leaks, and finally, he would come again 6 months from now to check the pressure and see if I still have a problem. He came and in 15-20 minutes my system was working perfect again at a cost of $500. I gave 2 stars because the guy was friendly and seemed knowledgeable enough. However, the aim of this company seems to be to extract as much money as possible and not consider that the customer might want to minimize short term costs. I could not care less about having to spend money 2 years from now, but I clearly explained I wanted a solution that did not involve me having to spend more than $2K in the short term. I had a similar situation with the same system in 2014. That time, I ended up having a new compressor installed and refrigerant added for $1500. That solution lasted me for 5 years. I realize the system is very old and will probably last half as long this time. However, I will ride it until it dies, and that time has not arrived yet. My system is running perfect now at less than half of what I was quoted just for diagnosing my problem. read more

Precision Heating & Air Letter of Recommendation I was referred to Precision Heating & Air through a property management company that I do business with and that I trust, so I contacted them and scheduled my first appointment. After running diagnostics and weighing the options, we determined that my A/C needed to be replaced, (a 30 year old unit and the cost to get it up and running again simply did not make sense). Eddie, the owner, personally came to my home and we discussed my specific situation and looked at the options in further detail. He treated me with respect and dignity while answering my layman questions and sharing his professional opinions and expertise. After having already done some research I went back and did some more and received several quotes. Then I made the decision to go with Precision Heating & Air. The Precision Heating & Air staff proved to be amazingly skilled and extremely competent. They installed high quality equipment (Rheem), always showed up on time (for every visit), did an amazing job, and all while respecting my home and property. Later, after the A/C, we went back and installed a new heat pump and replaced all of the ductwork. And, all this work was done for a GREAT and UNBELIEVABLY competitive price! During over 100 degree temps, our unit quit. I called Precision Heating and AC in Spring Valley, CA and spoke with Bianca. She tried to have someone stop that evening but that did not happen. They were totally booked for the next two days but she said she would try to get someone to stop. This morning she called and said someone (Nicholas Perez) would be here in 45 minutes later. 43 min later Nicholas arrived. Had a service call to take care of my A/C unit in my condo and they came out and fixed it. Well I thought they did. Once the tenant came back to the unit to use the A/C ( a month later), it did not work. I called precision back to check it again and they told my tenant that something was unplugged.
