We finalized everything on May 15th to include putting 2K down and signing the contract that stated the estimated lead time is 12-14 weeks. Comfort did not send out someone to do the final measurements until June 8th. I started to reach out in September inquiring about the status of the windows. Initially they were waiting on one window, then they were waiting on the truck. Finally, the windows were delivered to the local warehouse on 10/5. Mind you I have a newer build, cookie cutter house, they are not some crazy dimension windows. We then were scheduled for 10/26 for the install. I was sent a text to confirm on 10/23 to remove all window treatments and furniture near the windows. I was also told they would arrive between 8:30a-9:30a. On the installation day at 8:53a (after they were already supposed to be there or arriving) I got a text that there was a "family emergency" and our install would need to be rescheduled. This is of course after we took the day off from work to allow access to our home. It is now approximately 24 weeks since we signed the contract with no windows in sight. Comfort will argue that the lead time starts from the final measurement, which is still 20 weeks, blowing the proposed 12-14-week window out of the water. We have now been rescheduled for 11/10 which is an additional two weeks away. If they show this will be a total of 26 weeks to get 4 windows installed. I don't care if these windows are the best windows this planet has ever seen, after this entire experience I would NEVER do business with Comfort again, nor would I recommend them to anyone looking. My in-laws went with another company, ordered their windows after us and they have been installed for months. Comfort doesn't care about the customer, they are corporate greed at its best. Selling too much of the product (an expensive product at that) and not holding up their end. Do not buy windows from Comfort, who knows when well see ours

My father had received a quote for replacing a bay window from another company in town that he had hired before. That other company looked to take advantage of that and quoted my father a price of $10,000 to replace it. I got involved and looked for other options and was truly fortunate to find J&D Windows and Doors. First off, the price was a FRACTION of what the first company quoted, but more than that David really took in a genuine interest in discussing all the options with my father so that my father was comfortable knowing he was getting exactly what he wanted. The other company took a more cookie cutter approach and was more interested in seeing dollar signs than customer satisfaction.. Due to Covid, supply was interrupted so the new window couldn't be installed when initially scheduled. That had nothing to do with J&D but David still gave my father a discount due to the inconvenience. Completely unnecessary but most appreciated and just a classy move on his part. All told, the work to take out the old bay and put in the new took little more than a morning with a little finishing to be done the next day. The result was amazing and my father was completely overjoyed with the result and I echo how well it turned out. I and my father, recommend J&D thoroughly, absolutely and whole heartedly.

When everything came in, he installed two doors plus replaced an overhead door with a solid, double door to the cellar. He was on time, finished ahead of schedule and his products are excellent. I left for work when I came back all windows were in and they were doing final touches. Caulk some siding, . I needed to leave again my daughter had a softball game. I signed the paper, which I got no copy of, and paid the remaining balance. My husband who is also a contractor, took the trim off the windows to replace and found that some windows are NOT sealed or caulked ! And we can see daylight ! My husband text the company right away. They guy calls back says that's unacceptable and said I'll have another guy call you Monday. That was 2 weeks ago!! We have another call out waiting to hear back! The installation of my sunroom was horrendous. I had to call 4 times for leaks because my sunroom…read morewas not installed correctly. The installation was so bad, they almost had to lift the roof and reset the walls and start over. The issues were no caulk under walls, no weep holes drilled causing water to back up inside, handles on the windows not installed correctly & sliding glass door not adjusted properly. Thankfully, these installers were all fired. Champion had to call in a contractor from out of state to fix all the issues. Now, I see my rain gutter is pitched the wrong way and when it rains hard (which has been lately), the water floods the glass door. Good luck trying to get someone to come fix your issue. Made a service call and the techs who showed up were not prepared to work on a 2nd story rain gutter. Made 3 more calls to get the techs back but the service manager has not responded to my calls or email. I'll give this company 1 star because the room actually looks nice. All I can say is beware. Very unhappy & disappointed customer. I will not be back.
