After examining our crawl-space attic, we found we had water dripping in, icicles formed, crystallization, and black mold. We immediately called Suburban. The next morning 2 workers arrived and assessed the damage, never once acknowledging the mold. It was determined they would come back in 2 days (Monday) to replace the ridge vents. The owner sent a contractor on Monday to also assess the damage inside of our house but nothing could be done at this time until it was determined that the roof was no longer leaking. 6 days after this issue started, I reached out to the owner again only to receive a letter stating this was an act of mother nature and there was nothing more Suburban would do for us. Not once did the owner take the time to pick up the phone and speak with me -- how unprofessional! We live in Upstate NY, we are supposed to get ice and snow but we are not supposed to have inferior work performed when we hire a contractor. This has caused quite a problem in our house.

When we tried, then, to call the office we could not find a human and the voicemail box is too full to accept messages. I don't know what kind of work these people do, but their lack of professionalism is astounding, as is their decision, for us, that having rainwater pour through our structure, is NOT a roofing emergency. Gentlemen, if you can't or won't do a job, don't jerk people around while their trying to protect their home. Just say so, so we can all move on. If I could give 0 stars, I would, to reflect the concern you showed us.

The large crew arrived dressed in company uniforms and brought lots of safety equipment. They did a fantastic job! In one day, they ripped off the old shingles, replaced all the old plywood, and installed a beautiful new roof. They also did a great job cleaning up around the house. They were quick to respond a fix a portion that needed a little more care. They inspected one year later and called several times to make sure there were no issues. Everyone who works there is very friendly and customer service is in their culture.
